Physical Description: 5'7". Long, wavy to curly red hair, pale skin, pale brown eyes. Tends to wear pretty outfits and sport various wares created by crafters who would like their skills advertised.
Personality: Ky'ra has been spoiled since the day she was born by a loving, doting father. That father happens to also be the Weyrleader of Western Weyr, which didn't help matters, as she's learned to trade on his name and position. That being said, she is a good and dutiful wingrider, who does not at all mind putting her nose to the grindstone. She's terribly proud that rather than simply sleeping his way to the top, her father was actually voted into power. Ky'ra aims to one day follow in his footsteps, although not necessarily via the same outlet. She doesn't need to be in charge of the Weyr, but she does like the idea of having influence and changing the world.
Right at present she's using her beauty to get by and make extra marks on the side. She's well aware of her looks, as they've been quite useful up until now. Her mother was a lovely courtesan who taught her daughter occasional lessons in etiquette that the enterprising girl has turned into another source of revenue. Nothing would please her more than to completely get by on her side gigs, but she does find it very satisfying to be a wingrider.
Endlessly inventive, Ky'ra can come up with all manner of things to entertain herself with. She also loves games of chance, and enjoys board and card games of all sorts. She is especially good at chess, taking great satisfaction out of this fact, as it was her claim to fame as a child. She loves being surrounded by friends and laughter, and she's well able to hold court among such a group.
Although she is a pleasant enough young woman at her best, she does have a rather bratty side. She has very strong opinions about how things ought to be done, and is incredibly defensive of Western Weyr, taking great pride in her home. Her catty retorts don't tend to go over well, but she doesn't care for traditional Weyr standards at all. Ky'ra can be quick to make judgments about people, especially if she thinks that they aren't doing their part. She has a tendency to share her opinions even and perhaps especially when they aren't desired.

History: One of a number of children born to R'mor of Western Weyr, Ky'ra had the good fortune to be born a twin. She had the rather bad fortune to be mothered by a woman who really wanted to do anything but. However, her father stepped up to the occasion with aplomb. The little girls did not go to the creche, but spent as much time with their papa as possible. Having older siblings suited Kyaramor just fine. However, when inevitably her papa got a boyfriend, she was less than enthused. ... Even more so when her new baby brother arrived the very same Turn.
The girl made it clear that she did not trust either interloper, sulking initially until R'mor reminded her that she, too, had been a newcomer to their family. Her older siblings hadn't complained, had they? So Kyaramor would need to behave herself as well. Although dubious about this logic, the little girl complied at last. She did, however, spend more time playing exclusively with her twin sister, Ryara, and made it apparent to her baby brother as time went on that he was too little to play with them.
After all, they played grown up games, like pretend and tag. Sometimes they even went on grand adventures, to which he was certainly not invited. That didn't seem to stop him from coming along anyway, to Kyaramor's annoyance. So, rather than cease her playtime activities, the girl turned to comparatively dull games like chess... which it turned out was an excellent idea. She had a good head for strategy, and learned quickly and well. However, when playing with Ryara, it was unclear whether she was letting her sister win or whether Ryara was simply the better player, as the feisty girl would do almost anything to make her sister happy.
Kyaramor has long had a special fondness for her elder brother R'min, whom she holds in high esteem. He was quite patient with her while she was going through her more bratty phase, and has earned her undying devotion. When he Impressed his blue Antereth she was over the moons, and terribly proud of him. Of course, she was even more excited when, when it was her turn to stand for a clutch, she Impressed her very own darling Zultoloth! The most fortunate aspect was knowing that neither she nor her beauty would be required to hold any particular rank. Unlike their less fortunate foreign sisters, their future now belonged to them.
Other: Ferociously protective and adoring of her twin sister, Ryara. Loves her father to distraction and worries over how much of himself he gives to the Weyr. Changed her own name to be more similar to Ryara's partially to mess with people.

Physical Description: Almost precisely average in size, Zultoloth has a lot of lovely spots all over her. Still young enough to be cute in that way, though shaping up to be a rather run of the mill Queen dragon.
Personality: A sweet little peach who loves everyone with her tremendously large hearts. She would rather lay herself out in full Threadfall than harm another, and yet so many times this gold has hurt one of her fellow dragon's feelings without meaning to. Oh, the horror! Immediately contrite, Zultoloth will follow the wounded party around like a kicked puppy trying to make matters right. She wants nothing more than to make everyone happy, and oh, oh how it hurts when she cannot! She feels things tremendously with her sensitive hearts, tending toward emotional extremes. It's very rare that she'll find a moment of peace and calm introspection - rather, she'll tend to get caught up in the drama of the moment, and suffer all the more over slights she imagines that she has given others. For she cannot seem to find the right words, and although she doesn't mean to offend, she just... never does right. When she cannot make everything right, she'll tend to curl up on herself and fall into sad moods, knowing that she is just the worst.
