Name: Branwyn
Age: 42
Nameday: 3532.09.27
Sex: Female
Sexual Orientation: Heterosexual
Weyr: High Reaches Weyr
Rider Rank: Burning Aces Wingrider
Previous Rank/Craft: Blacksmith Apprentice

Physical Description:
Branwyn is five foot four inches tall and has a very lithe and athletic figure. It isn't obvious, aside from a small pouch of fat on her lower abdomen that she has given birth to four children. Her skin is a light peach color, not as pale as many others native to High Reaches. Light brown hair with natural waves, stopping right at her shoulders. Light green eyes stare out of an almond shape. Her face is a rounded oval shape with lips that are slightly thin.

Personality:
Branwyn has always been a very outspoken young woman. Never afraid to speak her mind and tell it like it is. While this can be a gift as well as a problem, she does her best to balance the two as much as she can. She knows that there are times she can't say everything she is thinking, though sometimes it just comes out. "What do you mean my son isn't fit for that? He is the greatest thing!" It can cause some embarrassment for her children, but it can also get her into trouble from time to time.

She has always been a very maternal soul, wanting to help and take care of others. She did her best to take care of and look after the younger children of the hold as well as the younger candidates. Those that seemed out of their depth during a hatching is who she would find herself drawn to, reaching out as a support for them. This didn't change even when she impressed, always making sure she was there for those who needed her. It helped that Delyth was just as maternal as Branwyn and helped to encourage her.

Though she can seem like a pushover, Branwyn can be firm when she needs to be. There are some who don't heed her words and find themselves at her wrath. Although it takes her a while to get angry, she makes sure her words and rules are followed. Even her son Henwas made sure not to do anything bad that would get back to his mother.

For all her caring for others, Branwyn has a tendency to worry about them just as well. She tends to blow things out of proportion and at times like those Delyth become her support. It is hard for her to think clearly when she is busy worrying about what may happen to someone she loves and cares about. Having her twins be so far away did not help matters either.

She has always been very trusting and there have been many people who took advantage of that. While the most notable someone was G'hin, Branwyn still hasn't learned her lesson and still finds herself trusting openly, though she is a slightly better judge of character.

Positive Trait List Maternal, Firm, Outspoken
Negative Trait List Worrisome, Trusting, Outspoken

History:
Branwyn was born in High Reaches Weyr to mother who rode a green dragon and a father who practiced as a Blacksmith. Although she was born at High Reaches Weyr, she lived most of her young life at High Reaches Hold where her father was. He raised her on his own and began to teach her Smithcraft as soon as she was able to help in the forge.

At the age of fourteen she was searched and taken to High Reaches Weyr as a candidate. She continued to practice her craft while she was a candidate and stood for many different hatchings that never brought forth her bonded, leaving the woman to believe it was never to happen.

When she was 18 there was a hatching at Monaco Bay Weyr that needed additional candidates to stand for and Branwyn volunteered to go, decided she wanted to see another area aside from the north. While standing she began to speak to a young man two years older then her named Andras. During the chaos and hatching on the sands, Andras helped protect Branwyn from a rampaging brown. The brown was stopped from attacking Andras when one of his bronze brothers. The fight between the two was terrible until the brown relented and cried out to his, his bronze brother helping him to limp to where he was needed. She had thought the danger was done, turning to thank her hero when the bronze was back with whirling purple eyes. It seemed the young man who had become her hero, and suddenly made her heart beat a bit faster, had impressed.

While she did not impress and had to return to High Reaches Weyr, continuing to stand for clutches and never impressing, Branwyn went back to working on her craft, though never forgot about the young man who had saved her. When another chance to attend a hatching at Monaco Bay Weyr came when she was 20, she lept at the chance, especially if she could see him again. There was a bit more hope in her heart to impress here, to be able to stay here, especially when she saw him in the stands watching. So when a delicate green came towards her and called out to her, Branwyn felt her heart soar at the idea.

Weyrling training wasn't hard for Branwyn, especially as she and A'dras became closer. The training was spotty to say the least and once she graduated she talked A'dras and G'hin into leaving Monaco and going with her to her home at High Reaches.

A year later and settled into High Reaches Weyr, Branwyn and A'dras were slowly advancing more in their relationship. A'dras was not a very forward man, though he seemed to have a heart of a romantic, something Branwyn found sweet, as well as his desire to protect her and those around him. When Delyth rose for the first time Branwyn hoped that Gareth would be the first to catch her but the bronze lost to Mawrth. As such Branwyn found herself in bed with G'hin. She thought nothing of it and even though she saw the hurt it caused A'dras he understood the situation. It only caused a problem when four months later she discovered she was pregnant.

When the news was told to both A'dras and G'hin, the bluerider seemed over the moon, though Branwyn knew he was just very much pleased to have one upped his 'best friend'. The twins were born five months later and G'hin made sure he was there to help Branwyn to raise them, bristling when A'dras was around or tried to do anything to help teach his sons. Branwyn found herself hoping she would find solace from the drama that was brought into her life but a year later Delyth rose once more.

This time Delyth was caught by Gareth and during their flight it seemed the two had tired of their riders slow romance of one another and were going to push things along. The bronze and green declared the next morning their desire to be weyrmates. It did help A'dras to finally openly admit his feelings, although Branwyn already knew of them herself. The addition of her becoming pregnant again helped to solidify this and the two riders followed their dragons suit and became weyrmates as well.

Nine months later Branwyn gave birth to a boy named Caderyn. Having one son from A'dras and the twins from G'hin, Branwyn found herself being a mediator between the two and their relationship dissolved further.

Branwyn did her best to raise her sons the best she could, trying to negate the emotional abuse that G'hin heaped upon her twins, hurting when she saw Henwas turn into a bully to protect his twin. She saw her youngest son bullied by Henwas, and did her best to stop them but she was unable to always be there to make sure it didn't happen.

It was, sadly, no surprise to her when one day Huarwar came running up to her saying that Caderyn had stood up to Henwas and then attacked him. Branwyn rushed to go and pull her sons apart, finding their respective fathers already there. She took the twins home after A'dras and Caderyn went off. She helped to tend Henwas' wounds until G'hin returned and basically pushed her out of the way. With narrowed eyes, she was about to tell him off when she heard A'dras and Caderyn return. She looked Caderyn over with a mothers worried eyes before ushering him off to speak with A'dras.

It wasn't long after she was speaking with A'dras that G'hin walked back in. An argument began between the two of them with G'hin moving A'dras into a corner. Everything after that happened so quickly that Branwyn doesn't now exactly what happened, all she really knows is that the next moment G'hin was on the ground, dead, a sword wound on him. A cry had come up from his weyr as Mawrth took to the skies and then was gone.

The aftermath, although horrible, was handled easier then she thought it would. Gareth managed to get A'dras out of his shock just as others arrived. The situation was explained, it was self defense, especially since a dagger had been clutched in G'hin's hand. While A'dras was not truly in danger, he could not get the urge to stay, he felt guilty and even though Branwyn begged him, he asked to take G'hin's body between to leave him before he left the weyr.

Knowing what would happen between her sons, Branwyn was forced to send her twins to her brother at Western Weyr.

When Thread fell, Branwyn and Delyth were ready and very glad that A'dras and Gareth had been visiting the weyr. The bronze pair decided to stay then and the two have moved back into the same weyr once more. When Uridith rose and Gareth chased, Branwyn and A'dras conceived another child. Pride swelled when her son Caderyn impressed the only bronze in the clutch and became C'ryn.

Of course, Branwyn had visited her twins through the years and tried to remain close to them. Henwas distanced himself from her though Huarwar still spoke to her and wrote to her when he could. Although Henwas had pushed her away, the news of his death during a hatching caused her heart to break, not only for herself as a mother, but for her son left behind. The one good thing that came from his death was Huarwar and C'ryn reconciling and becoming closer then they ever have been.

A few months ago, Branwyn and A'dras gave birth to a little girl named Arwyn. Even with thread returned, Branwyn is doing her best to take care of her when she can, though there are times when she has to stay with the creche.

DRAGON
Name: Delyth
Age: 22
Clutchdate: 3553.04.18
Color: Green
Size: 18'

Physical Description:
Delyth is a very petite and delicate green. Her wings seem to be too big for her body at times, though she has learned to handle herself with such dignity and grace.

Personality:
A loving and caring green, Delyth has always adored caring for others. She never had a thought for herself from the moment she hatched, checking on her siblings as much as she could. A perfect mother, had she been born a Gold, but Delyth does not let that bother her too much. She takes the joy and pride from her riders children, thinking of them as her own hatchlings.

A very delicate dragon, Delyth does not like to get too dirty or even work too hard. With thread's return, although she knows it is needed of her, she still does not like to push herself too hard. She does have an appearance to maintain. She is a lovely green princess who needs to make sure she stays that way. She does her best not to dirty her claws and does enjoy having someone do it for her.

Delyth does her best to help calm Branwyn's nerves when she begins to worry about those she cares about, as well as different events. She has always had a calming aura around her and enjoys helping those around her to relax. Life is about not taking things too seriously and working yourself too hard after all.
