I have never gotten a whiff of anything even remotely smacking of drama, it is crazy easy for anyone to get involved, and there is a low stress/pressure environment that makes it relaxing to write here.

The art is beautiful and with the limitations presented in following the original dragon colorations, the colorists are so creative and find fantastic ways to work around things. The people are patient and friendly, and the mods are happy to keep in contact with their peers, and often ask us our preferences and opinions.

I've always liked Pern RPs, back from the days of PBEMs. At the same time, I like a modicum of structure and not resorting to 9001 "special" colors outside of the original ones. EoP fits the bill, and has a lot of people that I know I like to RP Pern with!

I enjoy all the detail and thought the staff have put into the setting, and how closely it cleaves to the good parts of canon while improving upon the other parts. I also really appreciate that people design characters with RP in mind, and creating stories and relationships for them beyond the dragons (and that the dragons have their own lives, rather than just existing as chatty shadows for their riders).
