Yes, you may ask for multiple items that add up to 5b/5p
No, you may not say "surprise me" or "can I have 500 1p/1b items?"
Yes, you can nominate a friend/friends item wish instead, and re-gift to them/have me gift em.
No, you may not do this more than once per month
No, please do not get upset if we cannot gift you an unlisted item. It is totally okay to ask, but please have backup request items if you are not asking for a direct money donation, instead.
