Another empty hallway... jeez...well. At least he had time to calm down now, right? Granted he was still picking at his arm a little bit but this was far better now. There was awkward silence between them all, and as loathe was he was to admit it, this was getting a little... eerie. But better than fighting off zombie hoards right?
Damn, even the music was growing distant now. Just how far have they been walking?
One last push. Despite all her complaining, a small part of Austri was thankful the command deck had gone so well. She'd expected to be knocked out immedeately, but they kept on finding doors instead of zombies, and another small part of her wondered if it was because of something greater, something.... larger. Everything just seemed too calculated, too precise.

Deimos gets some sweet loot

Another storage room. Dei was thankful for the pit stop, taking deep breaths of air as he walked around the perimeter of the room to look things over. Thankfully it seemed this one was gerbil free. He spotted a chest that looked important, and kicked it open. Augh, gross, just some armor that seemed to be growing mold. He picked it up and held it out for the others to see, grinning. "Hey Austri I found a new outfit for ya. The green really suits you." He snickered a little and tossed the moldy armor at her.

Finally! Up ahead, that seemed to be the place they were looking for. Deimos sped up to reach the door, then shoved it open with all the strength left he could muster. Regret was instantaneous. The smell earned an immediate gag. He turned back to the hallway, waving a hand at the others. "It's fried! Totally ******** fried." Steeling himself, he straightened and opened up communications with ground control. "We gotta shut down the power to this room. Looks like we need to open that panel over there..." He pointed to a spot across the room from them. Maybe... maybe if he just... held his breath he wouldn't have to deal with the stench any longer.
Turning away from the room again, he sucked in as much air as he could hold, then attempted to cross the room as quickly as he could. With the mess of bodies and wiring, it didn't exactly pan out as he'd wanted, but eventually he did reach the panel. He forced it open, then turned off the switches designated. He then turned and dashed back to the hallway as fast as he could to shut the door behind him. "Le--let's get out of here."
