"THIS IS ******** IT!" Punkie yelled as she attacked in her usual swirl of glitter and flash of steel. "For Captain, oh my ******** Captain, Psykgi!" The juggalo cheered. With her senses back, her mirth at full throttle, and her daggers doing their job, the juggalo was at peace again.

She stepped back after her attack, a huge grin on her face. She had the adrenaline, now was the time! The juggalo turned to Psykgi, and declared in a loud voice. "Will you go on a goddamned editing date with me?" She asked her Captain. Psykgi's speech had really gotten to her, she wanted her own juggalo related speeches to give that same effect, and Psykgi was like a shining light on her quest.

Buffel had jumped off of Punkie quickly after she had dragged them both to the ground, not wanting to do anything improper while partially on top of her. Jumping back he tried to hide his face, already blushing and only getting worse when she loudly proclaimed how he "cured" her. Walking ahead, he was initally caught off-guard when the mutant corpse attacked them.

He began sidling along the edge of the room for the best shot, and to hide his flushed face after the orangeblood asked their leader on a date as part of her daring assault. Bring his gun up, he focused on the creature (who was already decently banged up) and aimed carefully for it's head. Primed and ready, he fired another full round, almost entirely hitting the beast in it's gross, open noggin as it lurched towards him in pain and thrashed at him to it's dying breath.

Buffel sat on the ground, assessing the damage to his person. No bites, didn't look too worse for wear. Looking up, he realized he was leaning against the control panel, they had made it!

”Well hey now, that's an awful nice surprise! Look Corporal, we made it!”

Pointing to the console with a goofy grin on his face, he took in the squad. They'd all done so well on this mission! Nictor faced his fears and stood up for himself and the squad, Punkie wrecked everything in her path to victory (and got just about the whole squad to blush, and Psykgi proved to be on of the strongest leaders he'd had on these missions. Standing up, he motioned to the control panel.

”Well sir, let's see what the damage is.”

Cpl. Psykgi Mentha

Psykgi wiped some of the... unmentionable ooze off of her forehead visor and grinned. "We're there, everyone!" she said, walking through the door beyond, "The command room!"

Wait, had the orangeblood just asked her out? It had sort of come out of nowhere, but Psy rarely said no to a first date with an interesting troll and...

Oh, an Editing date. "Sure." she said, cracking her knuckles. That was interesting, too, "We can definitely set it up after this."

"It's a really great surprise, Obille, like a 12th perigee present under the behemoth leaving... lets open it up, shall we?" And with that she sauntered over to the keypad and began to start up the programs to power it on.

She'd started with some basic literacy in computers and robotics, and had studied up on the ships a little in her downtime (that wasn't being delightfully taken up by smoothie meet ups, spa trips, boardwalk dates, and other rewards for good missions from her to her crews!) So she at least knew her way around the simpler ship systems.

Ah, there we go, pulled up the power... on. Diagnostics, and...

The screens flickered on and immediately blinked red. Alert. Alert. Alerejfjdao ja jj...

s**t. That's not good. Psykgi's tongue lodged itself just after one of her tusks as her fingers flew across the keyboard, trying everything she knew to somehow -- somehow -- salvage the thing.

Helmsman dock - diagnostic? Error!

Cut power to helmsman dock - backup systems... ok, those are running. Engines? Error!

Are the engines offline... Is anything online? She fought with the console for a moment, managing to reroute power to the life support systems... but little else.

Damn. She kept going into the diagnostics. Oh. She turned on the security cameras, some of which were operational. Ohhhh. She stared at the footage of the main power room, main server rooms, and the engine rooms, before shutting those off.

"Well, team, we can't get this one." she said, masking her disappointment, "It looks like something got into the server room, busted up the computing hives, and now computing bees are mucking up everything." And they'd been doing it for sweeps. "Can't really do much about it - but I just want to say, this has been a really amazing group and I'm proud of everybody here! Vielli, I'll make sure to mention your stellar performance to your CO, and you two..." she gestured to the volunteers, "Really good job there! Anyone would be glad to have you on their team, I'm thinking." Even Nictor (that was his name, huh) had managed to pull his own weight.

"Good work everybody -- shame we can't take it home, but..." She gave them a bigger grin, "At least we can blow it up."

Powering on the ship is easy enough, with the instructions from headquarters in your ear. As the screens boot up however, dozens of red warnings and errors flash across the screen. It seems like there has been critical damage to the ship in multiple places. Your team is instructed to leave the small black boxes containing deadly explosives in key positions on your return path to the exit.
