”I got it!”

The yellowblod moved in one fluid motion. The gun hand was drawn, then the shot was fired (another clean headshot. Buffel definitely wasn't counting though.) followed by a pantomime of blowing the smoke away from the gun through his helmet. His showy nature was slowly but surely coming back to him! Now if only they could get that alarm off, his ears were ringin' somethin' fierce! He looked over to see how his teammates were faring with it.

The alarm filled the girl's head, her head that was already spinning from hitting it into the wall during the last battle. There were still stars here and there. Punkie put a lot of effort into standing up, not falling down, until it just became too much. "TURN THIS ******** NOISE OF UNHOLY BEASTS OFF!" She yelled, turning towards Nictor and shaking him, as if that would help. "MAKE IT GO AWAY NICTOR"

Nictor really wasn't expecting his attempt to help to be met with this.

"Whu-!?" Nictor tried to question for a second, already staring at Punkie like a mad person for her screaming, but then she turned on him. Nictor was making a muffled screaming type noise as Punkie gripped his arms and began to shake and shake. He startled and tried to pull away bit her grip was firm and he found himself being shook violently. Even if adrenaline was covering up some of the problem, it made everything hurt these ships had not been entirely kind of him and oh yeah that shoulder was definitely bleeding again how did he make her stop?

Her voice stacked on top of the resounding sirens, making his ears sting with every piercing wail.

Why did she think he could do anything about it though!? He literally had no idea how or where he'd even find the controls what is he supposed to do here!?

"Ahhh, ah, I d---on't kn-know h-how!" Nictor half screamed in reaction to Punkie's own fervor, voice cracking and pitching, unused to trying to raise his voice this much. He didn't even mean to it was just happening and the sickness in his stomach wasn't just stress now, the motion was not settling well with him. Nictor wiggled uselessly as she shook him, pushing uselessly until he heard something else under the cacophony and his whole body went rigid and he ripped himself away from Punkie. What was that, what was that he needed to know-

Seems like the sirens and screaming had brought more of the crew to them.

Oh boy there were more zombies. This would not do!

"Let me know if you see a keypad!" Psykgi shouted over the noise, "That'll get it off for sure!"

She hacked her way through part of the mob of zombies, feeling the impact in her arm. There wasn't much use shouting orders into this, not if she wanted to have a voice by the end.

Noise was, she knew, a known psychological trigger and trauma. There were spcial rooms at the rehab center that used loud incessant noise to break down people. She'd never been assigned to manage those rooms, but now, seeing Punkie, she understood what that must do to a troll.

Maybe her if she didn't build up her defences... hmm!

”Save some for me now!!”

Buffel took aim lightning quick an fired off several round at the zombies. He shoots them real good. shoots them dead even. this will be a more seriously filled thing when the author is not disassembling a bed. The gunslinger was perturbed at the lack of structure to this, but didn't know enough big words to question it.

The alarms weren't turning off. The alarms weren't turning off. THE ALARMS WEREN'T TURNING OFF! The juggalo did the only thing her poor battered thinkpan could come up with. She joined the noise. The howls of the juggalo joined the blaring scream of the alarm. She felt her body become one with the alarm, an alarm that could tumble through any obstacle, kill any zombie.

Nictor was, well, not ignoring the alarms, bur consciously he was filtering them a bit. His ears rang and his thoughts were already scattered. The alarm was actually sort of drowning out what few desperate thoughts were trying to make their way through, making his head blank of those nasty nasty fears.

He was pulling away from the fight, as he tended to. his head felt empty, felt like his head was pulsing in time with the noise and he was keyed up from Punkie's yells and grabbing him and he may also be putting distance between them now for that.

He got a little close to one of the zombies, was recoiling back when soemthing joined the deafening racket and he screeched in response. The voice set his teeth on edge, had his muscles pulling. was that a threat, was it something else, was it worse than the zombies? The extra ounce of panic set him into motion, thoughtlessly downing the last zombie and whirling around, stumbling away just in case it was something worse come to prey on them and it was-

It was Punkie?

Nictor's face was pulled in distress and confusion and what even was this orangeblood? Why was she screaming with the alarm!?

"We have to keep going!" she said through the comms, over the noise. Holy s**t (well, she supposed so, anyway) Vielli was ferocious.

"Let Vielli clear a path - stay tight behind!" Because like hell was she going near that howling bezerk juggalo right now. If she was kept to the zombies, she would be an asset -- but would she attack her team? Psykgi did not want that.

Ah! Good! There was a keypad! Psykgi juked left and made a beeline to it, tapping in the necessary protocols until it stopped flashing in urgent purple at them. It left an almost physical silence in its wake.


"Status check, everyone. she said, giving everyone a nice big reassuring grin.

The threat now taken care of, Buffel made tracks to continue onward. He continued down the hallway complete focused on the task at hand when he felt another hand slip into his. It was Punkie, who was apparently feeling very woozy? Not wanting to be impolite, he took it and maintained a fairly minimal level of blushing compared to his usual reactions. He continued onwards, holding the juggalette's hand in a gentle but firm manner to keep her steady.

The alarm had left.. and... Punkie felt empty. She felt as if something that was a part of her, something that she had become was now missing from her life. She seemed to go through the ship in a third person type of view. She watched herself inspect the door, look it over, and then, in a quiet voice she heard herself tell the captain one word, door.

She felt herself slowly slipping back to her body, slowly getting over the ringing that still echoed in her ears. She still felt a little dizzy, a little disconnected from the world. She grabbed for a troll to maintain balance. "Buffel... Hold my goddamned hand a second..." She said, reaching out to where she thought she saw him.

It had worked for a minute or two, using the yellowblood to steady her shaky world. She tried to take a step forward, to un-trap the door she was pretty sure was in front of her, when she fell down, taking the yellowblood boy with her. As she fell doing right on her face, she felt the world seem to align again. "Oh merciful ******** Messiahs!" She said as she was able to get up without feeling dizzy. "You cured that goddamned curse!" She looked at the door, and snipped the wire, essentially disabling the device. "Whoop ******** whoop!!"

The room beyond the door seems empty from the hallway, but stepping inside you are swiftly aware that you are not alone! For lurking in the corner is a dark groaning shape. As it turns towards you, you realize you are entering strife!
You have encountered a Grotesque Oozing Mutated Daywalker!

It seems like there has been critical damage to the ship in multiple places. Your team is instructed to leave the small black boxes containing deadly explosives in key positions on your return path to the exit.
3- The ship refuses to power on, even after you follow headquarters instructions to make sure they are plugged in, and hitting ctrl-alt-del. It looks like something core is not functioning. Your team is instructed to leave the small black boxes containing deadly explosives in key positions on your return path to the exit.
4- Powering on the ship is easy enough, with the instructions from headquarters in your ear. The screens show that the ship is functioning perfectly, and headquarters patches in the control of a remote helmsman. They wait until you have returned to your boarding pod and leave, before steering the boarding vessel away.*
If any troll in the party has helmsman authority, they can steer the ship to given coordinates, then return to the boarding vessel with the rest of the team.

Another door, which meant it was actually going to be something worse this time and not just a team mate gone wild. Nictor was definitely keeping as far away from Punkie right now as possible he didn't even know what to do about her but he could feel his stress levels climbing just being nearby. He also didn't want her turning on him, especially not with those carving knives. He'd been carved enough already thanks.

Nictor gave a small noise of relief when the sirens got turned off, but his head still felt cottony and empty and the noise was still bouncing around inside his skull, the renewed lifeless silence deafening.

He feebly nodded to Psykgi, giving a small verbal confirmation when she asked, but otherwise was busy trying to blink away the residual echo.

He watched, almost unseeingly as Punkie crashed through the door, belatedly wincing at the fall and Buffel getting dragged with. She was certainly something. Making his way through the doorway, he skirted away from them. He might have tried to help her up but given the results previously, he wasn't sure he could take another scare like that.

Except then he turned and had disgusting viscera coated troll monster in his face.

Nictor could hardly make the noise trying to escape him, throwing up an arm quickly to catch the seeking slimy mouth that came at him, but that didn't stop the hands from grabbing and trying to tear. He managed to push it off, followed quickly by a swing but his grip was wrong, favoring his non dominant hand and impacted wetly, half sliding half striking on the creature.

"Nice job." Psy said, standing back a bit and observing the... interesting dynamic between Vielli and Obille. How very balanced!

It would be good to know -- better if Obille was military, but he was not. Alas.

Of course, behind the door was trouble, but it was trouble that they could deal with! Psykgi let out a joyful cry as she took out her aggression, her emotions, her deep inner uncertainties out on the horrifying monster before her. "It's almost down everybody! Lets show it what we're made of!"
