Okay, it was almost over. He heaved his aching body up, and looked at Deimos, no anger, no fear, no negative emotion on his face. "Hey," He said, as he got his weapon ready. "Im sorry about earlier. Your pretty cool." With that Caiden threw his skateboard on the ground and rode right for the beast with all his might.

"You're not so bad either." Dei replied, not really sure where the sudden change in mood from Caiden had come from but he didn't really mind. Less fussing among the team, more fighting the monsters. The door swung open...

Gerbils. Why?! WHY GERBILS. They were hard to pin down, leaped everywhere, and their teeth were just the worst. He supposed the only good thing was that he only had one foot for them to chew on. Frustrated, he stomped on a few of the vicious creatures, mistakenly using his prosthetic foot to do it. He felt a terrible grind, and realized he'd probably just undone some of Tevini's repair work. Great.

Vremea was so done. She loved gerbils, she truly did, she'd won a trophy for her amazing gerbil once, duh, but— These dumb gerbils, were just, gog. She wanted to throw them into outer space and not have to deal with them, ever. Slashing at the mini monsters, the yellowblood released a groan and hastily slashed at a bunch of them, managing to render a large pack of them immobile. "G-gerbils aren't usually t-this, this violent...!"

"Nice hit Etsali!" Caiden called as the other orangeblood stepped back from the beast, giving him a chance to get in and attack. He grit his teeth, and focused again, clearing his thinkpan and calming his plumpbiscuit. He thought, of all the butterflies he felt in his gut when he was around Autumn, and, he felt them leave, as they appeared visually as well, to leave.

The pack was starting to thin now- they really had a chance at getting rid of them. Faithe looked like she was near ready to collapse, and Caiden didn't appear much better off. Not that he could blame them, Deimos was half about ready to just lay down and crush the remaining undead rodents with the sheer weight of his body.

Instead he settled with slamming his mace down onto a cluster of them. Normally the crunch was satisfying, but he was too tired to care much about it. "Almost.. done.."

She was going to finish this once and for all. With a couple more harsh slashes, the adult slammed a hit into a couple of them, eyes fueled with fury. She was sure her gerbil back in her dorm would approve— They were just too rabid, too killer. She wished she could save them, but they were too attacky, too violent. If they'd been safer, maybe she could've trained them to attack any swamp intruders. Maybe she could do that with her own gerbils, or give them to the children to teach them to take care of their pets. But for now, she could not, and she finished the rest of them off. With a raspy gasp, the yellowblood slumped on her weapon, drained. Finally, done. They were in the control room...!

Hifumi finished off another small cluster, despite looking like she might actually collapse.
Deimos began to make his way over when something caught his eye- "Hifumi! Duck!" A straggling gerbil had crawled to the edge of a shelf and was aiming to launch itself at the yellowblood. Summoning the last of his strength, he propelled himself forward just fast enough to hit the creature out of the air with his mace, much akin to how one would hit a ball with a bat.

The creature splattered against the nearby wall. Good riddance. He slumped to the ground suddenly, leg erupting with pain. Oh, ********. He'd really done it this time. Wincing, he let go of his mace in favor of undoing his boot laces just enough to peer at the mechanical foot. The ankle joint seemed snapped- he'd have to get it repaired again before going on another ship. "Aahhh... ********: 11/21
