Finally an idea hit her! In that it literally flew into her face.

"Ow!" Tevini yelped as the slime beast knocked a chair at her. Clutching her nose, the redblood glared at the beast and reached forward towards it. The chair seemed too blunt to be able to actually slice the beast up, which she would prefer to do, but in this pinch... she'd settle. Calling upon her psionic energy, pink light formed around the chair and she raised it high before slamming it down on the beast. It's head became trapped in the legs, hindering it's sight and hammering it on the head. It wouldn't kill it, but it would distract it for her teammates to move in for the kill!

Vulpin moved in quick, despite having little reason to while dealing with this sluggish enemy. Knives wouldn't do too much damage on their own, but timed with a couple of choice kicks, Vulpin could make quick work of the slimy foe. They'd slice off a piece, then crush it to keep the smaller piece from gaining sentience, too. Sufficiently tired from their onslaught, they looked over at Stryke for backup. "The kill's all yours," they offered, winking.

Completely embarrassed didn't cover it. He was still trying to recover in part. It was one thing for a stranger to tease him an giggle...but Tevini had giggled and called him silly! gog. Stryke's face burned with heat as he burrowed into his turtleneck with a playful huff. While he wasn't angry, flustered, however, adequately described the yellowblood without question.

Right they had a creature to face down..he needed to pull himself together.

First and foremost while they went after the slime, Stryke disarmed the trap mechanism. It took him a little longer than the first room, despite being 'smartie 2' he was distracted. "Okay giggles 1 and 2." He replied with an amused smirk. This meant having to spend time actually cracking the code. Once he did, he was free to help them finish up the undead lusus. Attacking this thing directly was seemingly useless, at least physically. Curling his lip in disdain at the grotesque undead slime beast Stryke shook his head in annoyance. "This isn't working..I'll have to try my alternative weapon." He replied in a frustrated tone as he wiped off his blades. While the beast was disemboweled making it easier to take down, it was still fairly resistant.

Which was no matter, Stryke would finish it up one way or another. Just as Tevini had so softly said earlier. Kill it quickly, and he would not disappoint.

Stryke grabbed his favorite pocket watch, holding it up to deliver one final blow. Aiming for the cavity opening on the beast, he took aim before releasing the trigger. Just like before, the brilliant yellow light shot forth with searing energy. Blasting a hole in the creature, it ceased movement as it stopped its assault.

Wiping his brow Stryke made sure his daggers were cleaned before holstering them. "Nice job everyone." He encouraged with an earnest smile.

"Thank you for your help!" Tevini brushed some bangs that had come loose out of her face. She bowed her head slightly to Vulpin and then Stryke to show her gratitude in their assisting her this far. She knew she hadn't been the most inspirational leader during this mission but felt like that was okay. She hadn't needed to be. Both of them had already known what needed to be done. She'd handle the paperwork when they got back, in return.

Now it was time to try turning on the main computer at the control panel. She walked over and placed her hand above it, taking a breath and closing her eyes. Please.

She felt the light against her eyelids before she opened them. Power! It was on! Delighted, the redblood listened as a remote helmsman was connected. She did not complain. Even if she couldn't fly it, she could see it! Watching the screen flicker as the ship began preparing itself, she watched in wonder.

One night soon, it would be her turn.
