"Good question! Then again it's us! Why wouldn't it be on fire?" The greenblood yelled back, cursing their luck. He had beaten most of the flames out finally and was ready to jump back into the fray. Swinging back into action, this time he was better prepared and understood his opportunity to get in close. Punching the daywalker's side, he tried to crack the remaining ribs- anything to cause it pain and distract while his teammates took this chance to line up their own shots!

"Please, just, leave us alone!" Amonee pleaded with the daywalker. The longer this went on, the more distressed he was to fight it. The way it fell apart and the smell of burnt rotting flesh was just too much for him. He bashed part of its head it and it fell to the floor, still twitching and convulsing. The jadeblood's pump biscuit was beating too fast to continue looking at it and he turned his face away, shaking.

"Austri, I can't- please-" He shivered and hoped the heroic greenblood would end it. She was tougher than he was by miles.

At Amonee's behest, Austri provided. She ran up to it and threw a harsh, overpowered kick at the monster, rendering it unable to move from the strength of her winds. The greenblood cackled. "It's unable to move now, for sure~" Austri grinned, watching it fall to the floor limply and slump over. The greenblood tossed her hair back, feeling a little exhaustion deep into her bones. Oof, that battle took a little out of her. She could not show weakness, though.

"Okay, that's a good one." Amonee found himself laughing at Lorata's joke. It was good-natured fun that boosted his mood after the terror of watching a daywalker on fire bolt around the room trying to eat them. She had a way of knowing how to read the room and giving a pep talk when it was needed. He leaned back into Nucleo and murmured to him quietly.

"You said you were friends with her before this, right? We should invite her to Busthind for something. I like her a lot." He smiled at the other greenblood, trying to brainstorm what kind of event they could throw to invite her to. Plus, well, it was just a nice excuse to cozy up to Nucleo. The other boy was comforting to be close to.

"Mmm, she made me carry all her shopping." The greenblood chuckled, realizing how that sounded. He didn't mind though. She'd been great company. He laughed at her jokes, trying to ignore the scent of his own burned flesh. He wondered if she expected him to do it again this year with a nervous gulp. It seemed like Lorata had been making lots of friends, especially from Superstar Authority. How many more bags and carts would she be filling up this sweep? So much work! But at the same time, he couldn't leave her to just handle it all on her own. His special advantage should be used to help others, he thought. Fine! He'd help her carry home the entire mall!

Lorata's joke was the icing on the cake. She cackles loudly, feeling rejuvenated and giving the purple blood and small clap of approval. "N-Now that~ Was a good joke~!" Austri exclaimed, rubbing her nose slightly in excitement. Lorata always knew how to make her feel better. As a purpleblood and her bestie, there wasn't much more Austri could ask for in a best friend. Her smile softened. She truly adored the purpleblood. Everyone needed to, but being near her was just... Enough, sometimes. The greenblood sobered up immediately after hearing Amonee's voice. She coughed, and moved forward.

"Looks clear this way." Nucleo commented, following Lorata's lead and looking around. Sure there were still juggalo posters plastered everywhere but he didn't hear any zombies approaching. It was a welcome break. They approached an open door and he let out a breath of relief. Open doors generally were empty inside, with whatever monsters that should have lurked already released. Hm that was a weird way to think about it. Well whatever, they were safe right now and that was good enough for him.

Something in the room smelled. He didn't really like it much but maybe it would ward off the zombies. Or at least cover the scent of the living so that the daywalkers couldn't find them as easily. He still wasn't sure if they had the same senses they did as in life. Could they see, smell, hear and taste? Or were they just moving randomly and attacking at anything? He'd spent most of his life running away from them instead of observing them.

Upon opening the box, he winced and tried not to inhale the fumes from the moldy gear inside it. He got the feeling that Austri and Lorata were not gonna want to touch this and so he awkwardly picked it up and held it as far away from himself as possible as they walked on.

That smell is like~ Sooo bad~"She was kidding, obviously— Teasing the greenblood was just one of many fun times to be hand, especially with Nucleo near by to get frazzled with anything rude she said. It couldn't be too bad, unfortunately, due to Lorata's presence, but hey, at least Amonee wasn't crying with each one of her insults anymore. "Should've waited for us to like~ Leave the room or something, hehe~"

He turned to the side and threw up on the floor a bit. It was just so disgusting.
