"Th-That's a lot!!" Elidae stammered, her eyes getting wider as the shuffling bodies advanced. It was the largest grouping of daywalkers she had seen on a ship before. The yellowblood positioned her scissors, ready to go. It didn't take her too long to take out two bodies, using the sharpness of her to hack into their skulls.

“Great, everyone take positions.” While they seemed eager enough, save for the one-eyed yellowblood, their teamwork was shoddy. Kursha frowned as he bludgeoned a daywalker in the face, caving it's skull. Out of the corner of his eye, he could spot Engrav, slowly edging his way into the skirmish. “Hey, get it together! You, Cyclops, how about pitching in?”
Engrav groaned as Kursha called him out, sneaking right around the edge of the battlefield. He'd been TRYING to take up a flanking position where the daywalkers wouldn't notice him until he was behind them, but then the greenblood had to go and call him out for trying to be tactically advantageous. So that was good. He groaned again as four daywalkers turned to face him almost immediately.
"I'm working on it!" the yellowblood yelled as he ducked under a swiping claw. His first punch caved in a daywalker chest with a crunch that reverberated up his metal arm. He elbowed another in the face, falling into the remaining daywalkers in a whirlwind of fists.

15 zombies was more zombies than the blueblood had ever seen. Sure, he had reported back to Kursha the numbers of the undead, and their formation, but that was just robotic motions, his job. Actually faced with the number and well, it was a little intimidating. There was adrenaline filled battle, and then there was "holy glub this is intense" feet freezing fear.

"Aye, aye, Captain!" Elidae threw Kursha a salute and headed towards a couple of daywalkers, ready to strike, before she stepped directly into the ribcage. The squelch of decomposing guts made her bilesack churn. She yelped in surprise.
"Mmmmgggghhh!" Puffing hair into her cheeks, Elidae let out a frustrated squeal as she tried to yank her leg up.
Engrav panted heavily, backed into a corner. He cursed softly as the remaining monsters lurched towards him. Unsure and off-balance, the yellowblood could do little more than scramble backwards, desperately moving away from the shambling corpses that pursued the group. "Help!" The yellowblood cried, falling onto his nook with a thump. He put his hands up in front of his face to try and ward off the zombie's teeth.

Muzzle jammed in the daywalker's chest, Kursha pulled the trigger. The last daywalker toppled over, a gaping hole in it's torso. “All right, everyone. We did it. Real unsatisfactory job there. What's the problem. Is everyone asleep? Come on, let's wake up.” Claps his hands a few times to be obnoxious.

Static flinched a little at the gunshot from Kursha, but he managed to hide it. He had really messed up there, that last attack, or "attack" had been pathetic. He needed to make up for it. "I-ill look at this path, i think we should, uh take it." The blueblood said, standing up straight and saluting to both the Yellowblood girl and the Greenblood Captain.

Over her shoulder, Elidae threw Kursha a pouty glance. "Don't be mean! We did our best!" Elidae countered, and then her demeanor shifted into something similar to a peppy cheerleader. "We did it!! Everyone did so good!!" She moved forward and followed Static to the door. Throwing her weight on one side of her hip, Elidae put a finger to her chin and then tried to open it to no avail.
"Huh! Looks like the door is locked. Anyone wanna give it a try?" She stepped to the side.

See? Here was a chance for the blueblood to be helpful! "I got this sir!" Static said, actual confidence in his voice. He went to the door, and with some leverage, a pipe he found, and his own strength, the blueblood managed to break the door down. He turned back to the party, a big smile on his face. He was helping!
This is a mini-boss battle, the full rules and mechanics of which can be reviewed here. If the mini-boss reaches 0hp, look below:
If this is your first or second mini-boss fight look below:

1 - Powering on the ship is easy enough, with the instructions from headquarters in your ear. The screens show that the ship is functioning perfectly, and headquarters patches in the control of a remote helmsman. They wait until you have returned to your boarding pod and leave, before steering the ship away.* 2 - Powering on the ship is easy enough, with the instructions from headquarters in your ear. As the screens boot up however, dozens of red warnings and errors flash across the screen. It seems like there has been critical damage to the ship in multiple places. Your team is instructed to leave the small black boxes containing deadly explosives in key positions on your return path to the exit. 3- The ship refuses to power on, even after you follow headquarters instructions to make sure they are plugged in, and hitting ctrl-alt-del. The door slowly opened with a creak, and with it came a cloud of putrid, choking smoke. Engrav backed away quickly as a smoldering hand holdiong what looked like a kitchen knife clawed out from the darkness towards him. He barely had time but managed to land a blow on the shambling... thing as it stumbled towards the party, but it looked like his blow scarcely registered to the undead horror.

Static put a hand on Engrav's shoulder as the yellowblood stepped back after his attack. "Good job." He said quickly, taking his turn to attack the large, angry, undead obstacle. The blueblood was so happy he had taken a stun quarterstaff. Far more plausible than his blunt way of punching.

“I'm not being mean,” Kursha shot back. “If that's really your best effort, then maybe everyone needs to go back to the caverns.” He rolled his eyes to emphasise his point.
Static in the meantime had taken the initiative to break through the door's lock. Kursha nodded in approval as the blueblood beamed back at him but otherwise said nothing. Actually he did say something, “Look out, kid. We've got walkers.” Sure enough, on the other side of the door was a gaggle of undead.
“All right! It's round two, losers! Show me what you've got!”
