"Let go!" The girl yelped as she was raised from the ground. Tevini wasn't a particularly short troll but she also wasn't exactly tall. The mechanic's legs flailed as she tried to kick the daywalker to make him let go unsuccessfully. Fine, if that's how it was going to be! The redblood tried to think of what Etsali would do in this situation. She couldn't exactly pull manipulating time from Stryke's book. And Keionx's teachings were helpful but she tended to focus on how to kick butt rather than save yourself from your own screw ups. She needed to think of a different way to solve her problem...

Pink light formed around the daywalker's hand and she grit her teeth, fighting against it's will to pry it's hand open. She'd steal the monster's body from it and free herself! Falling to the ground, the girl scrambled away to let the others move in and handle things.

Caiden stepped in between the scrambling Tevini and the gross zombie thing. "What is WITH you things? Just go away!" Caiden said, holding his skateboard with two hands and slamming it on the thing's head. He turned back to the redblood to fret, "Are you okay Tevini?!" The brownblood said in a panicked voice.

"I'm fine!" The redblood called back to Caiden as he protected her from the daywalker. She stayed behind him while he and Etsali finished it off, grateful for his help. Tevini had to work harder to be able to handle the pace of battle more, she was learning. After this she'd have to take more lessons from anyone who'd teach her.

The battle now concluded and Tevini looked over to the control console in the room. It was just one of many to her, as she'd been on several missions now, and yet each one filled her with anxiety and anticipation. Would they have to destroy this ship too? Or would it be saved? She looked down at the power switch and swallowed.

The lights came on and suddenly everything was glowing. Looking around, Tevini lit up with it. It worked. She ran her hand across the smooth helmsman chair.

"If only..." She murmured. It killed her to see these ships and not be able to drive them. She desperately wanted the chance to try it, to find out how it worked. To see a ship in action. Tevini clenched her fist and bumped the top of the chair once more. She didn't like it but she only had one idea of what to do.

Stryke's eyes widened as Caiden hugged him. The brownblood certainly knew how to embrace someone..and it made him stare in a mixture of shock and awe. The boss was down long after he finally recovered from the simple gesture. Oops. "oh, it's dead. very good then." He quickly rejoined them, concern for the other three as if making sure each troll was alright. He had heard Tevini cry out. She seemed alright, good. What happened truthfully had completely taken him off guard...he didn't know how to respond to their kind gesture.

Nor the praise Caiden and Tevini offered.

"ah.. um..thank you." He fumbled for the right words to use. Laughing sheepishly he rubbed the back of his neck. He wasn't sure if they were spot on but perhaps there was some merit to their words. He had made it this far without dying he supposed. Stryke glanced away to cover the slight flush to his cheeks.

Clearing his throat he addressed the group as they wrapped things up. "well done everyone!" He praised, his tone akin to his normal speaking voice as he placed a hand on his hip. Tevini's psionics seemed to have more control, which he was proud of her for learning to work with them. Stryke hadn't known Caiden was powered. Etsali may not have been, but she had kept up in her own unique fashion. He was impressed, they had made short work of this ship. They also would have a ship to take back, which Tevini had handled from the looks of things.

That couldn't have gone any better he realized.
