◆ Pᴇʀsᴏɴᴀʟɪᴛʏ: Ortega is a calm but cryptic individual. However calm he may be, he has no qualms employing ruthless measures to gain results in both warfare and politics. Others fear him for his willingness to do what others dont have the stomach for, though he views it as a necessary evil to help facilitate growth. Pragmatic by nature, Ortega believes that those with power or in a position of power, should have the heart to be cruel enough to make difficult choices that can constitute a positive outcome in the long run. When talking to others, despite their origin, he is sarcastically condescending. Though if he is truly find value in you, his compliments and words are of the utmost genuine nature. Though with that being said, he has psychotic tendencies, as he takes enjoyment in watching those he deem worthy suffer in the most fitting, sadistic manner.
◆ Bɪᴏɢʀᴀᴘʜʏ: Ortega was born to a neglectful mother and father who sent many days reminding him how. He grew up in the outskirts of Haven before the fall, learning the ways of the huntsman from his father, whose code of ethics were not on par with the other huntsmen & huntresses. His father would use unsavory methods to extort and abuse the populous in order to make a profit. He even went as far to sneak grim into villages and for Not only did he have to deal with child bullies but he had to deal with an abusive father as well. He suffered from the years of training and the verbal, mental, and sexual abuse. His father had taken his innocence away from him and from that moment on, Milo vowed never to allow him to have it taken again.
One day after another day of severe training Ortega's father took him to the local waterfall to relax. This however was a ploy. While he was enjoying the peace and quite his father took him by the throat and dangled him over the ledge. He told Ortega that if he was truly his son then he'd survive and return to him at the villa they stayed in. With those words and a mighty toss he flung him over the edge and left him for dead. Once he regained consciousness Ortega climbed his way back up the waterfall cliff, each step seething with hatred and anger. Once he made it home he confronted his father in a sword fight and won by the skin of his teeth and from his father being arrogant in his own abilities. It was this moment that caused him to realize that humans were greater monsters than the grim the hunted them.
After an event like this Ortega didn't know how to cope with it properly. He then found himself in the company of a up an coming Huntress named Maria. He liked her, as she helped him in such a dark time. The two became close, and eventually married. They had a son who was a kind hearted boy they named Carlos, and had an exceptional knack with aura. But all good things must end, and there is never any rest for the wicked. Ortega came home one day to find his mother, covered in Maria & Carlos' blood as their bodies laid in a pool of blood. In a fit of rage his semblance exploded, destroying the place he could no longer call home. His visage was that of pure hatred as orbs of dark energy orbited around him, as he held his mother's throat in his grasp. "Any last words you neglectful b*tch!" He snarled, a strange echo trailing behind his words, his eyes now black with red pupils resembling that of a grim's. All his mother could do was spit in his face and with a anger filled yell, he proceeded to crush the her throat till she stopped struggling. The house fell silent as Ortega just stood there, but the it was soon broken as he began to laugh. At first it was just a giggle, then became a chuckle, until it evolved into a full blown cackle. He realized Just how monstrous humans could become, and decided from that moment on, the thing left to do was become more than a monster, no he'd become a demon himself.
