SEMBLANCE

Semblance is the manifestation of one's innate and personal power as an ability unique to each individual, with the effects varying greatly from user to user. The nature of one's Semblance is noted as representing an aspect of their character. However, a person's Semblance can be similar to the Semblances of their parents or other family members.[1] For instance, the Schnee family Semblance, summoning glyphs, is completely hereditary and is rare.Using Dust, certain individuals can modify their Semblances with elements, such as Weiss using Myrtenaster to change her glyphs and Blake inserting Dust vials into Gambol Shroud to make her Shadow clones take on elemental properties. Overuse of one's Semblance for prolonged periods may adversely affect its user at certain times

Semblance Name: TK Did The Race

Semblance Description: It allows for XXX to move at extreme speeds, going even fast enough to leave a clone in its place that seems to feel real at first touch to the opponent. At maximum potential, XXXX can move continuously, leaving physical clones of magic that stay there like afterimages for a few seconds. When infused with dust, can cause elemental bursts augmentation such as burning an opponent who touches a clone, freezing them, blowing them away with wind, or making them hit stone.

D rank: Can do short dashes. Helps with dodging attacks and escaping in a pinch situations. Can only do about 2-3 times before exhausted.

C rank: Can dash medium distances. When dashing, a faded after image is left in place, making it seem like XX hasn't moved. More times is used, more tired XXXX becomes.

B rank: Can dash medium distances. When dashing, an after image is left in place that feels real and gives off the same aura presence like a doppelganger. Shorter the distance of the dashes, more dashes that can be used.

A Rank: Can dash large distances, When dashing, an after image is left in it place and additional after images can be placed while in the dashing motion. Dashing in a straight line, for example, could cause 8 after images to appear. These after images eel real and have same aura presence like a doppleganger. More use, higher drain. Maximum number of after images that can be created is 50 at one time. Can do maximum number all in one movement, but can only do this 3 times before Aura is drained. Of course, use of ability in general without doing the maximum decreases this ability causing from number of times to decrease. If used once, it decreases to 2. If used 3 more times, decreased to 1. After use of that 1, aura is drained.

Semblance Ability:

Drawbacks: Use of this ability exhausts the user and drains Aura fairly quickly. Repetitive use of this ability back to back causes the drain to intensify, making XXXX weaker to point over use causes decrease in strength by 1 rank

Semblance Name: Smoke Cloud

Semblance Description: Rain is able to create and manipulate smoke, making a cloud of smoke to hide people's appearance, turning her entire body into smoke then turning back into her physical self to attack her opponents, making smoke take on a certain shape and using smoke as an escape mechanism. (Think Admiral Smoke from One Piece) Perfect use for stealth and assassination style combat.

D rank: Can make a giant dense smoke cloud that is breathable but masks sight from others, takes seconds to make a smoke cloud that is enough to cover an entire room. Also can make her body, helmet, and weapon turn into the smoke she made. Pretty easy to do so she can do this about 5 or 6 times before getting exhausted. To use her weapon she have to reform her weapon back to its original look to use it.

C rank: Can create a smoke cloud that can cover half of a football field size, can make her smoke from a breathable smoke to a smoke that people can't breathe normally in. 3 posts total can be used for this. Also able to start manipulating the smoke, make it move in a certain direction, take shape of stuff and be able to make her smoke denser or softer.

B rank: Ability to manipulate, move, take shape of and making it denser and softer is complete and can be used freely. Able to make smoke clones that take shape of herself or others made up of smoke but shows that they are competently normal until hit. Can use her weapon attacks from her smoke form, make a certain area of the smoke sharp, or fire bullets from the smoke without taking shape.

A rank: Mastery of her semblence shes able to do everything from her previous ranks with ease, create a smoke cloud that can cover an entire football field size.

Semblance Ability:

Drawbacks: Using it too much drains her stamina so she becomes sluggish and tired. She can turn into smoke but the most she could do is make smoke but she wouldn't be able to turn into it or control it.

Semblance Name: Pied Piper

Semblance Description: Reseda's semblence is that through the use of different senses she can effect "state of mind" of animals, grimm, and in special circumstances humans. This is basically a method of puppeteering, in which she is able to gain control of their actions by affecting their senses. Her primary method as she has found is through the use of sound (e.g. music), however it can also be visual (colored "sound waves" through use of special dust) and by touch as well (physical contact, by either her own body or physical sound waves through dust effect).

D Rank - At this level Reseda can only completely influence (control) the lowest ranking grimms, and slightly affect (dazz etc) the next tier of grimm. This takes 2 posts to go into effect and lasts 2 posts.

C Rank - Reseda is more effective an controlling the lowest level grimm and can begin to fully control medium ranged grimm.

Semblance Ability: (can I add to this over time?)
Fire Dust: Not only does it add fire and burning effects to her sound waves as it also adds hypnotic red, yellow and blue tones to the form of the waves.

Lightning dust: Adds lightning and shock effects to her sound waves and hypnotic yellow and blue tones.

Drawbacks: In regards to humans, Reseda can never ever fully control them no matter their rank due to the complexity of their minds (by humans I'm including faunus as well). At most she can maybe alter their moods from aggressive to calm (vice versa) or make them momentarily confused.

Another side effect of this semblence is it is temperamental in the sense that if Reseda is not in control of her emotions things go very wrong. Her semblence is highly influenced by her own emotions. This doesn't mean she can't feel but if her emotions become very extreme, for example, if pissed off rather than using a grimm as a puppet, she just may set it off into a beserk mode instead.

This takes an extreme mental and emotional toll. The more grimm she has under her control at a time the faster she will tire out. Which is why she usually keeps things simple (e.g. nudging them into path of someone else's attack).

Semblance Name: Gaia's Blessing

Semblance Description: Gaia's Blessing grants Tessa the ability to manipulate earthy materials such as crystals, stone , soil , sand and mud. The function of this ability is very similar to earthbending in that she can alter the shape of any earthy material within the effective range of her semblance.
She can form pillars, shields, and any variety of shapes from rock or have it pop up and send it flying with a solid hit, form various weapons, soften or harden the ground , shatter or disintegrate stones and crystals with a touch, and even alter the shape of the battlefield around her so long as she is within contact with it. This does not necessarily mean she needs to be touching the exact part she's manipulating, but be in contact with another piece of earthy material that is in contact with what she's manipulating in some way.
As she trains Tessa's ability to manipulate the earth will grow in scale, efficiency and strength, the sphere of her influence increasing by another 10 meters with every rank (15 at D rank)

Semblance Ability: Earth manipulation

Drawbacks: Everything she does is still very much affected by the laws of physics and she must always be touching something for it to be affected. That means none of this this or this. And anything affected must be within her sphere of influence to be affected.
As Tessa trains to use this ability in time with her martial arts form, altering the earth on a larger scale all at once , or without moving, provides a higher drain on her stamina

Semblance Name: Phobetor's Shroud

Semblance Description:By activating her semblance Lieh can release a pulse from her body that brings out the worst fears and nightmares of those closest to her as solid projections. The illusions are caused by the pulse interacting with the part of the brain that controls fear, causing the victim of the Shroud to fight against their worst fears. In the case that someone has no fear/has conquered their fears the shroud will take shape of something from their nightmares, a dream apparition they created when they sleep. The true form of the Shroud is Lieh's shadow, and if neither of these two conditions are met it will take this form. She can also use the Shroud on herself and bring forth her own nightmares to fight in battles if its ever something she can't handle.
Preferably it's a close range semblance because the closer someone is to Lieh when she activates it the more solid form the nightmare has, but it can be cast to as of right now at almost 300 yards, but the distant projections would be very fragile in comparison to the close range ones. The most she can hold it up for is 45 minutes [4 POSTS] but preferably her safe window for use is 20 minutes [2 POSTS].

As she rises in rank and ability Phobetor's Shroud will be able to increase it's range of effect and ability to strengthen the nightmare projections at distant range to the same state as close range projections.

Semblance Ability: Projection/Illusion
The Dust from her weapon can be fused with her semblance projections, giving the nightmares properties according to what dust she uses it with (i.e. using fire dust with the Shroud will produce nightmare projections that would be on fire/have fire bodies.)

Drawbacks: Using it past her limit causes her to fall unconscious for several hours and, according to her, experience “A horrendous nightmare not meant to be seen by any living creature.” She also has to keep herself in a state of absolute mental focus or else it could bounce back on her and cause the same experience, but longer by about a day or two.

Semblance Name: Dark Core

Semblance Description: Ortega can create, shape and manipulate dark energy, usually drawn from inter-dimensional or other similar sources, primarily the pool from which grim spawn from. His semblance has a 20 meter raduis around himself. It can be channeled to a variety of effects as an absence of light, a solid, gaseous and/or liquid substance that can be shaped/manifested in various ways for different attacks. Ortega practicle use of the semblance makes him capable of creating dark energy droplets, making them akin to a chain of projectile explosives from a pool of said energy from his AoE. Essentially, by the use of the initial ability, the user is able to explode the energy; it becomes a high pressured claymore explosive type blast that grows larger per bulk{total of 20} of droplets like shrapnel shards; the explosion is not combustion based, however, it only mimics the visual effects of a combustion based explosion, the explosion is solely energy based, and can't light objects on fire and isn't affected by oxygen or lack thereof. Given on the user's cue, the energy immediately bulges out and erupts shrapnel. The impact of the blast is able to pierce most less dense bodies in the range of the explosion, while not being able to outright blow out limbs. For reference, 1 blast would push the targets' body away, based on their position. 4 blasts to a single limb would make it completely unusable, and 8 would rip their limbs into shreds. If the impact was dealt within mere centimeters of the source, 3 explosions would be enough to make it unusable, and 5 would blow the limbs away. At most, the user is able to stream 5 consecutive explosions into a pattern by using the energy, at a single time. This may be triggered anywhere within 100 meters and leaves the user immune to the effects, granted the sludge transfers back into the AoE. This has a post cooldown of 1 post, in which the residue energy will flow back into the AoE naturally like sludge.

Semblance Ability: TBA

Drawbacks: With this kind of semblence, once that is volatile by nature, it comes with a plenty of drawbacks:
- Users may require outside source of dark energy to create a blast.
- Users may not be immune to effects of own blast.
- Firing may be involuntary reaction, or released in constant stream.
- Users will be exhausted when too much energy is used.
- Users may be over-charged/wounded if too much energy is used at once.
- Users need control to avoid unnecessary destruction.
- Energy is extremely dangerous and destructive.
- Accidental release of negative energy may occur.

Should all be basically the same as what you read before. Just changed the character name throughout adjusted the effected range because I decided withing weapons reach might of been a bit too small plus the original reach became a lower rank level of performance since I tried making up a progression scale. (this should be identical to whats on the profile currently, minus the progression stuff)

Semblance Description:
    As the two ice bolts crossed the threshold of Nox's aura they are enveloped in a red glow and dissolve away. Each one being reduced to a fine white powder which harmlessly passes over Nox as it is scattered. A moment later the scattering reverses and the dust particles condense before her outstretched hand as a single crystal of light blue dust which is then used to fire a spear of ice back at her attacker.


Rank stages: (This was just as hard to try and break done into development stages as I expected but I made an attempt)
D: Lacks most control, diffusion field is sluggish to respond and is targeted at something within 5 feet.
C: Control improvement allows Nox to be able to gather dust from the surrounding environment and re-purpose dust from hostile attacks she stops with the diffusion field. The diffusion field is completely effective on weak attacks now.
B: Control improvement and aura strengthened. The diffusion field is now an elliptical barrier around Nox with the same 5 ft reach. Moderate strengthen dust attacks are noticeably weakened getting through the field
A: Nox has full control of her semblance now and her aura is very powerful. The reach of the diffusion field is now ten feet from her person and even moderate strengthen attacks are reduced to dust particles trying to get through the semblance diffusion ability. On the offensive Nox is capable of fine dust control an can unleash powerful elemental attacks.
S: Top tier defense and attack. The dust diffusion field can now fill a large room or a small clearing in a forest. Spanning as far out as 20 feet from her and as high as 30 feet above her head, and feet theoretically. Powerful attacks will be noticeably reduced in efficiency if launched from out side the the reach of her dust diffusion and her control on gathering dust is refined for peak efficiency, +1 to the number of attacks she can manage in any environment when drawing on the natural dust there.

Semblance Ability: Dust Manipulation

    The ability of a Nox's semblance operates in two stages.
    Stage one is the ability to weaponize her aura against dust and the second stage of the ability is to absorb and collect dust particles out of the air and use them.These two halves come together to form the whole of Nox's semblance.

    The weaponized aura creates what Nox would refer to as a Dust Diffusion or Dust Scattering Field. This aura field is established as an elliptical envelope about her person with an effective range of approximately ten (10) feet. When entering into this aura field dust based attacks, objects, semblances, and the like will immediately begin to dissolve away into a harmless cloud of fine particulate dust. Weak to moderate attacks will be completely nullified if not cast within the field or at a risky point blank range. Stronger attacks can potentially penetrate the field and reach Nox even from the outside but will be considerably weakened.

    The semblance ability to absorb dust for Nox to use in combat is versatile. The basic application is to draw upon the dust incorporated in her enemies attack and scattered by her aura; condensing it back into powdered or crystallized dust that Nox can use herself to power her own attacks and counters. At an even more basic level this ability is not solely limited to an enemy's attack. All places have naturally occurring dust particles in the air which can be collected as well. Nox can collect dust with this ability from the air at a much greater range than her aura defenses operate at. She isn't sure how large an area this collection takes place over but over time has found that whatever it is the results are the same, an area only has so much dust and can only supply so much so fast. Because of this Nox has learned that she can 'feed' her semblance with vials/cartridges of dust to keep it running in battle.


Drawbacks:
    Nox must selectively activate her aura and her semblance both. Scattering dust and absorbing it for her own use at will, not automatically. Thus it is a requirement for her to be able to see or sense, at least be aware of in some way, an attack before she can counter. This makes her vulnerable to ambush tactics, course ambushes are only good once so best no mess up.

    Her aura defense is not flawless. It has holes in the fact that her semblance gives no additional protection against attacks free of dust, additionally dust based attack strong enough to punch through deal full damage to her for the strength they still have upon striking her.

    Nox's semblance stops to function entirely if she is rendered unconscious, she can't decide to use her abilities when she is in no condition to decide anything.

    Natural Dust is limited and replenished at a rate that makes sense for the availability. This means a place naturally rich in dust replenishes used dust faster than a place with poor resources. When drawing upon the naturally occurring dust in the air the colors that can be drawn upon must make sense: ie green can be found must anywhere, but you will find more blue near a lake, yellow is only really abundant during storms, and purple (gravity) is usually only found in large amounts around large drop offs.
    • Poor zones can only power 1 powerful attack or a handful of smaller ones at the most, They take 7 posts of not being drawn upon to replenish that fairly insignificant supply.
    • Moderate zones can power a lot of smaller attacks and could be used to launch up to three powerful strikes if the draw on the resources is handled carefully (not one every post). They can take 4-5 post to replenish their supplies of dust in the air depending on how many different colors are readily available at the location.
    • Rich zones provide immense amounts of dust of many colors. They can easily fuel more than five powerful dust based attacks even if one is used once per post, and it will have no problem supplying the dust required for minor or weaker attacks. If major dust attacks are used in rapid succession, 5 in 4 posts or less, it will take 3 post for the dust supply to be restocked. These areas are obviously the best places to fight in but they are much harder to find than the fairly abundant Moderate zones.

    Finally extensive use of this semblance draws on the body's resources. Meaning if used for 12 consecutive posts Nox will be famished and will possibly eat your horse, joking joking. If used for more than 15 fatigue also sets in.

Semblance Description: Vectors
By activating her semblance, Aliyah is able to turn her shadow into vectors. Vectors are lines that move out in the shape of arrows in a set direction. Vectors are mostly defined as having direction and magnitude to pinpoint a location and her semblance does exactly that. These arrow vectors spread out 30ft, giving her a readout of the area. This allows for planning of an attack or areas to run and hide. She can attach to another shadow and see what they see from that area.

D Rank: Can connect to shadows and show her the area
C Rank: Vectors become more snake like, able to travel five more feet
B Rank: Vectors can be used as weapons from her body, but unable to become used for seeing past her immediate area if used for fighting
A Rank: Vectors become a duplicating shadow that take damage for Aliyah
S Rank: Vectors can replicate Aliyah's actions and fight for her in her place

Semblance Ability: [Dust power, Tandem Semblance abilities, ect.]

Drawbacks: This is a shadow based semblance. If there is no cast shadows, she cannot use it. This also comes from her body, not other shadows. The longer she uses this ability, the more blind she becomes sadly.

Semblance Name: Gothic Calibur

Semblance Description:
- Gothic Calibur: [ Anti-World ] A violent type semblance by nature. Its soul purpose is to violently tear and eat away at any and all light in the area. By consuming light and aura similar to that of a vacuum, it grants Non the power to manipulate her natural Grim ability [ Gospel ]. This is a vile energy resembling a black smog or miasma capable of being shaped into whatever the user can think of, and/or become tangible enough to inflict physical pain. The energy in itself is anti-holy and might as well be the same as poison to other living beings. By touching humans or animals, they are afflicted with a terrible venom that affects the brain in such a way as to violently drag out the cruelty of a being. While the person or animal as an individual may not show it, the cruelties and violence they've seen or experienced in their lives will leak from their bodies similar to Gothic Calibur's miasma. The more a being is affected by this, the longer they stay poisoned, the more their inner darkness leaks, ultimately providing Non with more power as a Hygrim species.

It should be noted that this semblance cannot be affected by adding dust to it, as it will simply consume any dust or outside aura it comes into contact with. However, by losing access to this, it has a positive in replacement. Because it is a miasma/smog based semblance, multiple people can casually be affected at once. The more negativity that surfaces, the more energy provided to Non. Should she every reach a specific plateau in dark energy stored, she can summon living familiars to assist her in combat.

Semblance Ability:
- With each stack of [ Gothic ] Non stores, she has the ability to summon her Terminal Wolves to assist her in combat. Each wolf acts as a living persona of the semblance, and lashes out as commanded. Any attack from them shares the same effect as Gothic Calibur's miasma. Finally, due to their construct, should they ever be damaged, as Non has a [ Gothic ] stack stored, she can simply replenish it.

- Non passively stores [ 1 ] stack of [ Gothic ] each post.

- [ 2 ] stacks is required for a single Terminal Wolf to be spawned.

Drawbacks:
- Due to all of the negativity spreading throughout battle anytime an enemy is afflicted by this semblance, Non risks changing into a full Grim. However, as long as she is able to remain focused, she can stave off the affliction.
- Should [ 5 ] or more people be affected by her semblance at single time, in the same location, she will no longer be able to fight off the affect no matter how hard she focuses. However, this number rises by [ 1 ] with every rank she attains.
- While this semblance uses light and aura as fuel to jumpstart the negative energy, a stronger source of light to her own rank helps disperse the effects, making its innate weakness the same thing that fuels it; Light.

Semblance Name: Adapt Transfer

Semblance Description: This semblances ability focuses on transfering Aura from one being to another, adapting to the person and being one with their own yet not. On connection to a person their wounds,stamina,and emotional stability will return to full standing, and be transfered to the Semblance User. Unlike the regular healing abilities of a Aura user the injuries and stamina transference are permanent.(At least until the User himself heals or is healed, then its like nothing happened..Except for the Scars. )

This semblance also has the odd ability to enfuse things with a bit of Aura themselves, such as weapons,armor, and even Grimm. However, enfusing a Grimm with his aura can be incredibly dangerous and has unforseeable effects. Such as temporarily giving the user the ability to feel what a Grimm does, all the despair, fear,hatred gathered up in a area. Driving the user temporarily into a berserker state depending on how much is absorbed, while the Grimm infused takes on a calm manner and will even attack other Grimm temporarily. ( This ability would only work for RP purposes and backstory related stuff. )

D Rank: This ability would work to heal two people from moderate injuries and stamina loss without effecting the User in a Major way due to his own aura reserves healing him, however if he were to try and use this on 3 people the wounds would be too much. Each rank will add one person to his healing/transference abilities while his semblance slowly evolves.

C Rank: The Semblance evolves to the point of being able to heal three people from Moderate Wounds, or two from major wounds while also unlocking the ability to transfer the users Aura into Bottles to create something similar to a Mana Potion. However, it is unable to heal ones wounds similar to his Semblance. Merely adapt and replenish the Drinkers aura allowing them to heal on their own or continue fighting.

B Rank:While becoming able to transfer wounds from 3 Heavily Injured individuals or 4 Moderate individuals. It also evolves to being able to transfer the qualities of Dust into his aura or anothers, temporarily enfusing their Body or Semblance with a Element. Making them not only resistent to it, but also able to create effects such as enfusing a sword with flames or a arrow with lightning. ( Or Fists of Flame, Stone, etc)

A Rank: Becomes able to heal up to five people to Full Health,aura levels, and stamina. Evolves to being able to manipulate his own Aura such as moving the barrier that his Aura forms around his own body outwards as if transferring it to another person or the very air infront of them.


Semblance Ability: Aura/ Physical Manipulation?

Drawbacks: This Semblance has a few major drawbacks to it, the injuries,aura depletion, and stamina loss is transfered to Ethan from another person. This ability also has a major tax on ones mental stability along with putting a physical strain as its trying to endure multiple wounds being added to it. Also at a higher rank when able to transfer the barrier from his body it leaves him completely open to attacks, basically ensuring his body will take some manner of damage while also enfusing a element into his own aura makes him weak to the Opposing Element.

Semblance Name: Dawn and Dusk

Semblance Description: Dawn and Dust (which will be known as DD from now on) is a semblance that has two parts that work in tandem with each other...a sort of "Ying Yang" type of feel. DD is a PASSIVE as such is is always active, however the effect obtained is based on which "form" the user is within. Dawn form is the form of light and good, the passive which is natural regeneration that keeps the user safe. This regen is quite powerful, able to heal rather serious injuries in mere moments - however the loss of a limb would take weeks and massive amounts of aura. Dawn works in nearly anyway whilst the user has Aura remaining, healing everything from scratches to deadly poisons while active. The user can also press their Aura outwards and heal others with Dawn, however it causes the wounds and pain of the person to be transferred to the user of Dawn. Dusk form is darkness and "evil" per say. During this form the user's physical strength is multiplied by several times (depending on rank), however the healing of Dawn is completely removed while in this form and they user lacks many critical thinking skills. The forms can NEVER be used at the same time and Dusk can only be achieved once Aura runs low or in very tight situations.

D Rank: Dawn heals scratches and small cuts in a couple of minutes. Dusk only multiplies the users physical levels by 1.5x the base.
