Roseph: Derived from Persephone or Proserpina. The goddess who was tricked into marrying the god of the underworld.
Neotra: As a spring and vegetation goddess, Persephone was also called Neotera.
The theme of rescuing something and bringing it to life, only to see it die, sometimes by her own hand.

Blood colour: Purple; #1E173B

Gender: Female

Symbol: The maiden, the woman, and the crone

Profile:

Roseph sees herself as a kind highblood who helps those less fortunate. She believes it's her duty as a purpleblood to use her resources for those that need it. Besides, she cares. Of course she wants to help!

The purpleblood is outgoing. She does not wait for the those less well off to come to her, she seeks them out, eager to assist. Even if that help is not wanted or even needed. If someone looks like they need help, Roseph is willing to go all out to help them, whether they know they need it or not. Its okay if they push her away, they will realize in time how much they need her.

Roseph sees herself as an incredibly noble troll for helping those less fortunate. Wouldn't anyone? They should. She often talks loudly about her good deeds, gratifying attention for herself. She lives for the attention and respect that others give her for it. Such a kind purpleblood, so unlike the rest. Especially when someone she has helped out makes it big. It was all due to her of course.

Roseph actually encourages self-destructive behaviors in those she is close to. Helping them allows her to support them. The more problems, the more she can help, and in turn the more they will need her. She may provide her compromised loved one with money which, in turn, is used to buy addictive substances, gamble away or spend on frivolous things. She may invite her friends out to go have a drink or take them to the game arcade they cant seem to leave alone. Roseph also helps cover things up too. Be it dead bodies, broken objects, or to tell a lusus a "small white lie". Roseph doesn't realize that her actions are having a negative effect on her friends. Just that it produces gratifying attention for herself.

Roseph believes in the hemospectrum. Its enviable that the lowbloods need help, they can't help it. Just generally the lower the class the less capable the troll. Sure, they have specialties, they might appear competent, but every lowblood needs someone higher on the hemospectrum. In turn, trolls higher in color than Roseph are there for a reason. So, she does what she can for those less fortunate lowbloods, and trusts and respects the highbloods above her. They are there for a reason, and they will take care of the things above her station.

Roseph needs to be needed. Its how she validates her self worth. A part being in that she derives satisfaction from “rescuing” someone. Its a need for attention and compassion to placate her self-doubt. The purpleblood never really stops to see whether the assistance is helping or hurting the loved one. She knows they need help, she knows they need her. The world is a harsh place, its not their fault. Some trolls cant help picking up a bad habit. Its unjust treatment from society and Roseph will defend them to the end.

Roseph isent needed by her lusus, and it kills her. She used to suck up to the creature, desperate for attention. When that proved ineffective, she tried faking illness. Her lusus would not let themself been seen with a sickly troll, it showed incompetence, so that method worked only somewhat. The purpleblood is still desperate for her Lusus's attention, but has turned this desperation to other trolls instead. At least she can influence them.

Roseph spends what time she is not in the company of others shopping. Dresses, makeup, beauty products, getting her hair done, all things Roseph loves to do. Generally, the more extravagant a thing, the more she wants it on her. She has a style tho, she doesn't just go wearing whatever! Its gotta be black, purple, lacy and extravagant. She adores the "Goth Lolita" look, and enjoys all the little attentions to detail and expensive articles.

Strengths:
Kind:
having or showing a friendly, generous, and considerate nature.
Roseph cares, she really really does. She will give anything to help someone out, and she goes out of her way to help the ones she loves.

Outgoing:
    friendly and socially confident
Roseph loves to meet people and make friends. She is always approaching others to lend a hand, pay a complement, or just to say hello. Her outgoing nature generally extends to anything she thinks is a positive interaction.

Loyal:
giving or showing firm and constant support or allegiance to a person or institution
Roseph would never drop someone out of the blue. Actually, it takes a lot for her to ever even considering giving up on a friend or close one. Till the bitter end, she will stick up and support those she cares about.

Flaws:
Condescending:
having or showing a feeling of patronizing superiority.
Roseph believes that its inevitable for the low class to fall into bad habits, and she is there to help. Its her job as a superior highblood to help those beneath her, i mean, its just how the low class are.

Enabler:
a person who encourages or enables negative or self-destructive behavior in another.
Roseph cares, but maybe not in the right way. She will perpetuate someone's addiction, bad habit, or flaw simply by giving them what she thinks they want. Not always aware of the harmful effects of her "help" she will often repeat the enabling behavior. As long as she feels like a good person, she is satisfied.

Excessively Needy:
    Boop
Roseph does not admit this to herself, but her entire being is determined by others. She is only happy when someone is assured to be hers, assured to never leave. She will do anything to keep someone around, moral or not.

Four Fronds
She finds so many hurt trolls here. Thank goodness she chose here to live, where she can help those who were obviously unjustly hunted.

Lusus:
Species
When Roseph wiggled her way from the caverns, her lusus in turn wiggled their way from the ground. Corpus clawed their way out of their death like sleep in order to preform their duty to the troll race, and become a lusus. Because Corpus simply followed the calling that lead them to care for a troll, they didn't exactly want to. Still, being a lusus is a bit of a conversation starter. Especially to a Highblood. The lusus gains the prestige of a highblood by taking care of one, and since they are forced to be here, they might as well enjoy it. Corpus flaunts Roseph, but only really because of the troll's highblood status. It would be the worst shame if they let their troll die, which has been the lusus' main driving reason for their care. Any other accomplishments Roseph manages to achieve do not really matter to the lusus. Corpus is uncaring, but in public they try. The lusus puts up a front for the attention, being the only thing they really care about at this point.

Trolls suffering from Munchausen syndrome by proxy have most likely had an emotionally deprived childhood with a high probability of a history of physical abuse. The trolls are most likely depressed and insecure, and channel their personal inadequacies into abusive behavior, which in turn produces gratifying attention for themselves.

Hey Mic!

A few notes:

1) Right now, Roseph's profile is reading as a teen or older (particularly in your fourth paragraph). Remember that while kiddos can engage in self-destructive behaviours, those should be different from what you'd see a young adult do. Scale Roseph back to something a nine year old would do, and I think you've got it.

2) Is she kind (her strength) though? Really and truly? (;

3) Semi-crit. I'm not sure that lusii (being animals) have the same grasp of the hemospectrum that trolls do. Particularly since I'm not certain that wildlife outside of lusii have varying blood colours. This is something to reach out to a mod about.
