Mihail is first and foremost unusually silent. He rarely speaks, even when addressed directly, and can sometimes come off as not paying attention to what’s going on around him because of it. In reality, Mihail just prefers to observe the world. He’s constantly assessing his environment, largely to avoid speaking as much as possible. The reason for this is a natural stammer he’s always had, which can often make it difficult for him to get complete sentences out. He has an intense dislike of it, and thus decided that simply not speaking unless he absolutely needs to is the best course of action. Speech therapy has done little to help.
In addition to analyzing the world to avoid speech, he also meticulously plans out his time for fun. While he’s not a stickler to the schedule he comes up with, Mihail is a strategist at heart and enjoys coming up with a multitude of ways to accomplish a single task in the most efficient manner. Where some trolls do this due to anxiety, Mihail does this to conquer. Despite hating his stutter, he is not lacking in self-confidence and isn’t shy in new situations. He devours strategy books, largely focused on military tactics. When he grows older, he dreams of becoming a strategist for Alternia’s glorious military. Re-conquering the universe is a thrilling thought for him. Brains aren’t the only key to being strong though. Like any good purpleblood, Mihail works on his physical strength as well. He enjoys workout sessions, and primarily focuses on stamina over brute strength.
With rebels becoming a more present threat in everyday life, Mihail considers it imperative that any decent citizen loyal to the crown be ready to defend the natural order of things. He is a firm believer in the hemospectrum- everyone has their place, their task, their worth. While he isn’t overtly cruel, he doesn’t handle backtalk very well and will lash out if he feels he’s being unjustly questioned. Logic is the key with Mihail, so if someone comes to him with a problem and is able to logically explain why he’s wrong or why he should change his tactics, he’ll usually take them seriously… Even if they are a lowblood.
That being said, he does tend to be controlling over others if he’s managed to get himself a leadership position. While he can change plans at the drop of a hat if the situation calls for it, he cannot stand it when others lag behind. He’s not one to keep criticism to himself, even if it comes off more like insults. When he does speak, he speaks his mind as it is, with no sugarcoating involved. To him, it’s better to get everything out immediately rather than waste time cushioning his words. Not only does that seem ridiculous to him, but it often means there’s less speaking time involved.
Mihail’s lusus is a constant in his life. The massive alligator is strict with Mihail, but not completely overbearing. Mihail has a great respect for his lusus, but also resents how strict he can be sometimes. Aligaa follows Mihail everywhere, and controls how much time he spends doing what, and who he can socialize with. Aligaa claims this is for Mihail’s own good. He shouldn’t be associating with undesirables, after all. Aligaa is very proud of Mihail so far, and pushes him toward his goal of joining the military. So far Mihail has not rebelled against Aligaa's firm grasp over his every waking moment, but the thought has come to mind every so often. As devout as he is to his goals, sometimes he'd like to take time off and just relax.
Relaxation for Mihail is a rare thing. Sometimes Aligaa will loosen up and let him choose to do something out of the norm, but more often than not Mihail simply chooses to do nothing. Or rather, what Aligaa would define as nothing. In the times that he's allowed free will to do whatever he wants, Mihail usually takes to wandering the city. He's not against socializing as long as he doesn't have to talk, but socializing while sticking to a strict schedule is a difficult thing to do. These instances allow him time to navigate the world at his own pace... and maybe meet some neighbors or something while he's at it.
Strengths:
- Strategist:
Mihail thinks things through thoroughly, but when things go awry he’s more than capable of thinking fast. He has a strategy for everything, and if he doesn’t he’s definitely capable of coming up with something on the fly.
- Flexible:
Plan changes do not bother Mihail. The world is unpredictable, it’s better to go with the flow rather than get caught up in how things should be going. Mihail is largely unperturbed by sudden changes and easily adapts to them.
- Loyal:
Loyalty is a highly prized virtue to Mihail. Once he's sworn himself to something or someone, he sticks to it/them. Mihail is not one to drop a cause or a person over small matters, even big offenses get overlooked at least once. It takes a true wrong to get Mihail to turn his back on something/someone he's decided to stick with.
Flaws:
- Overbearing:
While he is capable of adapting, he can be very controlling of others when he’s in charge. Mihail expects perfection not only from himself, but from others. He’s not shy about voicing it, either. He could stand to loosen up a little in his handling of others.
- Blunt:
While he tries to model himself as the ideal highblood, Mihail is not the most socially graceful troll around. He finds it annoying to have to beat around the bush and would much rather just voice what his thoughts are as they are and not sugarcoated. This can be pretty frowned upon in high social circles where subtlety is valued.
- Grudge Master:
Those who get on Mihail's bad side soon learn that he doesn't forgive or forget very easily at all. Mihail fixates on specific events of wrongdoing, and has a very hard time getting over things without ample time and reason to do so. Depending on the offense, he may even go out of his way to get back at whomever wronged him.

Appearance:
See doodle! Mihail has natural wings on his eyes despite his otherwise scruffy appearance. He dresses in clothes that are easy to move in, preferring functionality over style. The sides of his head are shaved all around, though the top of his head between his horns is not. The hair is long enough to reach his cheeks when pushed to one side. His horns curve up and in toward each other, sort of like the semicircle of his symbol. They’re positioned just over his temples.
Home:
Civisect City is where Mihail has settled down. He lives near the beach primarily for Aligaa’s benefit. Despite being an alligator, Aligaa is more than capable of getting into the saltwater. His hive is properly sized for a troll of his status, meaning it's… quite large. He keeps it tidy though, since he doesn’t really use a lot of the rooms regularly.
Lusus:
Aligaa is Mihail’s lusus. A massive alligator, about 25 feet in length. Aligaa often looks lazy, but is more than capable of picking himself up and sprinting if need be. He’s very strict, and does his best to keep Mihail on track. He has witnessed other trolls of Mihail’s class turn “rotten” and will not allow a charge of his to turn out that way, oh no. On occasion he lets up on his strict grasp of Mihail’s life as a reward for him doing so well. The two share a close bond, which Aligaa is pleased about. Mihail hides nothing from him, and he hides nothing from Mihail. The world of trolls is often cruel, he sees no need to spare Mihail any details, even if they are gruesome.
