Good from up here. Some dragons have been over the ledges. Some could do with more work. Might be worth getting a dragon to take up some groups. They'd be done within a candlemark.
Volunteering?
All Sh'shi recieved was the rumbling feel of a laugh. Clearly that was out of the question. Not that she'd been serious about it. Feline or dragon, seemed her companions these days were lazy.

Could she get away with leaving them? Find them a safe space, dump a load of food there and then just slip away. Then they would hatch and- she didn't know, bond to each other? Then they could just fly off into the sunset together and nobody would be any the wiser. It wasn't like the Weyr was struggling to support their wild firelizards, today was demonstration of that. There were plenty of carcasses for them to scavenge from, other wild ones to hang out with. Clay could even stand guard and look after them when they were little, if he was so concerned about their well-being.

Enjoying that clear sand, Sh'shi?

Pushed up against the wall, under a slope of sand Telleara finds something.
This egg is huge, there’s some firmness to the shell, but it is less than a week old.
Yes, this is all coming along nicely. Pleased with the progress of the project Sh'shi decides to head back to her office. The Headwoman would hardly appreciate her hovering around her work, in much the same way Sh'shi wouldn't appreciate it the other way. Later she might pass through to ensure things were all still going according to plan. And Fiskenerath would be lurking on the ledges to watch for any weyrlings that stopped by, she Sh'shi could still get updates if she wanted them.

Oh great, what was this? Some rock that had gotten dragged in here for whatever reason? Telleara knelt down and pushed at the sand to level it out, disturbing the egg underneath. Her brow creased as she picked up the dull brown egg, then lit into a savage grin. This was more like it. The egg was larger than Clay's had been. That was certainly promising. The teenager cast a look over her shoulder to see if anyone had spotted her find, before hastily slipping it into her pocket.
Quickly the candidate straightened up and went back to raking. She continued to help until the Headwoman dismissed them. At which point she handed the two smaller eggs over to the older woman, not mentioning the other egg that she kept in her pocket. Smiling sweetly Telleara quickly left the cavern and scurried to the candidate barracks to properly stash her find.
(ICly the two eggs Telleara gives to the Headwoman will become wild)

Okay, this event is now closed. Sit tight folks while I get a variety of things sorted out and then we'll get it all underway.
Last reminder, the egg doesn't have to stay with the character who found it. You can have your character have given the egg to someone else (try and find a good IC reason this would happen), that can be your character or someone elses.
If you really want you can swap eggs occupants around, so long as the hatchlings are coming out of correct sized eggs. So if you have a green and you wanted a brown and you have someone who's down for that switch, they would need to be in either small or medium eggs as those are the only eggs that could have either of those colours. Don't go putting greens in huge eggs and such.
