KURT ANGLE VS. CHRIS JERICHO

In the backstage area, Kurt Angle would be preparing for his match, getting warmed up and pumped up, getting ready to go do what he was better than anyone else at, wrestling. He walks down the hallway into the area that is before the curtains that separate him from the packed arena. Kurt stretches and keeps his body active from stiffening up, waiting for the cue for him to head out there. He paces around, ignoring the presence of anyone around him, focused on the task at hand. Eventually, he is given the thumbs up, and as soon as his entrance music hits, which starts out slow with the lights black, Kurt goes to his spot where no other wrestler goes, all a part of the way his entrance is, ready to make his way out.



The audience popped with cheers for the Olympic Gold Medalist when the beginning of the theme music of the one and only Kurt Angle began to play, and the lights went black with the only thing you can see is the video on the titantron. After a few seconds, some lights come on, focused on the top of the ramp where Kurt Angle rises from under it slowly, standing still, and the audience cheers louder once they see him. After being completely even with the ramp pavement, Kurt raises his hands and a big pyro shoots off, and some more lights come on. You can see him wearing his signature wrestling gear, of blue and red coloring, as the veteran wrestling machine begins to make his way down the ramp, and is introduced.







"The following is a number one contender's match for the TNW:R Championship! Introducing first.....From Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, weighing in at 235 pounds, he is Professional Wrestling's ONLY Olympic Gold Medalist.... KURT AAANGLEEE!!!"



Kurt makes his way down the ramp, not slapping any of the fans' hands, but he does acknowledge their cheering for him and smiles at them once, and makes it down to the ring, making a left turn and makes it to the steps. He walks up the steps and down the apron, entering the ring through the second rope. He walks to the center of the ring, raising his arms again, spinning in a circle one time. Kurt then walks back and forth, keeping himself warmed up and thinking to himself and reminding himself of his plan of execution, and reminding himself that he is the best in the world and whatever his plan is will get the job done. After several moments, the lights turn to their normal lighting of the arena, and his theme dims down to a stop, and Kurt Angle paces around, waiting for his opponent to come out or for the bell to ring.

After Kurt Angle's entrance, the crowd waits for his opponent Y2J Chris Jericho in a big match to open up SummerSlam. The main cameras focuses on the crowd as it focuses on the crowd's reaction. Fireworks bursts from the stage as the camera shifts at the direction of the stage, the titantron shows 'Break the Walls Down' as the crowd reacts with a loud ovation for the return of Chris Jericho. Adam Morenoff's famous play of 'Break the Walls Down' would then play as Jericho's entrance music. The camera turns to the area of some fans raising their arms high, cheering for Jericho. A huge ovation is heard from the TNWR universe as Chris Jericho would secretly walk out of the curtains with his flashing jacket, he turns around and spreads his arms, without being shown from the camera. The camera would show Jericho as he spreads his arms in his famous taunt, having his black flashing jacket. After a few seconds he turns around and raises left arm up in the air as the crowd cheers loud for the return of the Ayatollah in a live PPV. Jericho then walks down the ramp, as the bell rings. "And his opponent, from Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, weight in 227 pounds.......Y2J Chris Jericho!!!!" The ring announcer in the background introduces Jericho to a respectable cheer. Jericho walks down up towards the steel steps and gets inside the ring. He raises his arm in a good cheer and takes off his jacket. His music fades away as he looks at Kurt Angle. The crowd starts clapping and cheering for Y2J for a quick moment. Slowly fading away after a few chants, waiting for a familiar for Angle to get into the ring as the referee prepares to ring for the bell.

 

[Kurt AngIe]

Kurt Angle gives a cold hard stare at Chris Jericho, standing in his corner. After his theme concludes, all you can hear is the audience who is excited for the PPV to start, and this match between two veterans both looking to get closer to the big prize. The referee checks with both competitors before calling for the bell, and it is rung. Angle walks out of his corner, circling the ring.  

[CWFTheUndertaker]

Jericho gives Angle a quick smirk as he slowly approaches to Angle, most likely going for a lock up to start things off.  

[Kurt AngIe]

Kurt Angle locks up with Chris Jericho, and immediatley turns it into a side headlock.  

[CWFTheUndertaker]

Jericho surprised by Angle as he gets in a side headlock. Jericho falls to one knee trying to shield off Kurt.  

[Kurt AngIe]

Kurt Angle keeps the headlock in place, looking to gain the upperhand in the early goings of the matchup

Jericho moving around his arms as Angle applies more pressure. After a while Y2J tries using his elbow as he hits Kurt's gut, doing his best to shield off The Olympic Gold Medalist.  

[Kurt AngIe]

Kurt receives the elbow to the gut, letting go of Jericho breifly  

[CWFTheUndertaker]

Jericho continues to elbow Kurt , trying to use it as an advantage.  

[Kurt AngIe]

Kurt gets another elbow but retaliates with a European Uppercut to stop the elbow attack.

Jericho stumbles after Angle retaliated. Jericho stumbles back, shaken.

Kurt Angle approaches the stumbling Jericho with a right hand to the face!
