Renard Leroux is probably some kind of Ashdown community pillar. Though he stays out of sight most of the time (he's germaphobic and agoraphobic and probably an entire alphabet of phobias) he's been part of the community for a good twenty-five years now. As the Director of the Shore Trust, he's an excellent resource for those who seek to learn more about their lovely seaside town; as a person, he looks unsettlingly young for his claimed 58 years.

Most people consider him friendly, personable, but a little odd. A lot odd.

THE FOUNTAINHEAD

Renard has the physical appearance of someone in his late twenties, despite being twice that age. Could it be clean living? Maybe. But probably not.
