Penelope
Her visit to Lab G was interesting. They had taken blood samples, done some x-rays, and ran a cat scan. By the time she left, they had a complete biological file on Penny. Dr. Mars had been kind enough to give her an escort to there beach and a map with a pinpointed location for where they believed Atlantica to be. Usually, they wouldn't do that for minors-- but Penny was over a hundred years old after all and had a lot of experience swimming. "Finally. I'm going to find my family." More determined than frightened, Penny made her way down to the water.
Coming to the water's edge, she slipped off her scrubs from the lab and walked into the water. She waded into the water until she was chin deep and dove under the surface. Penny tried to swim but her human legs seemed to be tripping over themselves in the water. Her face reddened with anger and she went to scream only to get a lung full of water. The pain was excruciating. Penny had never felt anything like it before. Penny burst through the surface. Tear streamed down her face and she looked up at the stars. "THIS ISN'T WHAT I WISHED FOR!!!" Going back to the shore, she picked up a rock and threw it at the stars with all her might-- falling very short. Letting out a shriek of anger and frustration, she stomped in a circle as hard as she could, throwing a fit.
Eventually the rage subsided but her tears remained. She pulled her scrubs back on and marched herself back toward the streets... then, she saw something that got her to stop in her tracks: Michelle's car. Penny ran to the car and looked around. She spotted some tracks in the sand and followed them... "Michelle?! MICHELLE???!!!" Then, she spotted her. She seemed to be doing something in the water. It was strange that she was here so late at night alone. She walked up to her, confused but grateful. "Michelle, what are you doing here? Did Dr. Mars tell you I was here? Did you come to say goodbye?"
Just as she got close enough to see what was happening, she caught sight of Layla. "LAYLA!" She rolled up her pant legs and ran into the water. "Layla-- what are you doing here?"

Dr. Carmichael Mars
From the helicopter, Dr. Mars used his tracking device to find Penny. The search lights skimmed the beach until they found the girls. The pilot turned on the speaker and warned them in a booming voice. "STAY WHERE YOU ARE!!! A SWAT TEAM IS ON THE WAY!!!"
A fleet of swat-vans leaped and peeled over the sandy beach, sending waves of sand in all directions before coming to a lurching stop. As soon as they stopped, the doors flew open and orderly teams of rushing Swat Police marched out in a tactical formation around the girls. "Step away from the girls, Civilian!" One man warned.
Zipping down from the helicopter on a heavy cable, landing on the ground with both feet. He strode through the sea of black armored uniforms to the girls. "I'm sorry to be so flamboyant, Mrs. Goodheart. Penny's tracker suggested some physical trauma." He explained as a few of the men came and picked Penny and Layla up in their arms and carried them to the van.
"These girls just keep popping up." He said with a chuckle. "Good evening, Mrs. Goodheart. I'll give you a call later tonight." With that, he grinned at Charl through the talk. "Hey, Hon! Congratulations on making Home Coming Queen!" Waiving to them both, he followed the swat team back to the vans.
