Twinleaf Town is situated in the South-Western part of the Sinnoh region. It is also the nearest town to Lake Verity, referred to by residents as their local lake.
A small town with the fresh scent of new leaves in the air, it feels like a place where adventures start.
-3 rp posts are required, then roll a 4-sided dice. This will determine the Pokemon that appears. In the next post, roll a 4-sided dice to determine level of the wild Pokemon.
Twinleaf town, nothing more than a stepping stone on King’s journey. The Sinnoh region was home to many powerful Pokemon, including the rumored Pokemon creator Arceus. Exploring this region would provide him many resources to achieve his quest. If he could harness the power of Pokemon to help him achieve his goal he could definitely accomplish his dream of unifying the world. He would have no problem stepping through towns like Twinleaf to accomplish what he needed to. There was no gym here, no powerful trainers, but he figured he would explore the quaint town anyways.

King’s elegant figure waltzed through the small town. He was so out of place in any means of adventure. He was not a budding trainer leaving their parents for the first time. He was an obvious outcast in the world of Pokemon trainers. But he felt no shame about this, he had once been a child, much like the others who began their journeys by speaking with professors. Feeling sorry for himself would grant him no advantages, he bored no ill will towards younger trainers and envied them for the time they could use becoming anything they wanted.
As he stopped to look at a posted town map, he decided that making his way through Sandgem and towards Oreburgh, the closest town marked with a gym symbol. King had no interest in badges, yet he knew that they were a fast track towards power, and power was something that he coveted, so if defeating gym leaders was the fastest way to gain power, then that’s what he would do. “Oreburgh…” he quietly said to himself as he turned and made his way towards the edge of town.

Much to his dismay it appeared Twinleaf really did hold nothing for him. He was unwilling to travel to the nearby lake as sightseeing wasn’t high on the to do list of the man. It truly was a shame that he couldn’t take more advantage of the area, perhaps in the next area he would at least run into some Pokemon who would give him a run for his money, not that was likely but his Pokemon weren’t as powerful as his last team had been, for that reason he needed to make sure that they were well trained before attempting to tackle the first gym.
“It appears this is farewell Twinleaf.” His cold and collected voice once again echoed through the mask, distorting his voice in such a way that made him sound much more menacing, as if he were speaking through a metal filter. As he walked towards Route 201, he would make his way east towards the town known as Sandgem city, another quaint town used for nothing more than starting journeys, he feared that it would hold just as little interest. Nonetheless, he exited Twinleaf, his Sinnoh journey, about to begin.

Walking out of the lab, still holding a happy and newly named Piplup to her chest, Sarah looked around. She had two options. She could train here, or she could go to Lake Verity and start trainig there. Twinleaf and the lake both had the same Pokémon who were around the same levels. So, she wouldn't be endangering Stevie by making him battle stronger Pokémon. Trainers who did that were the worst. "Let's go to Lake Verity. I hear it's lretty there, and we can still get to Sandgem from the lake. What do you think, Stevie?""Piplup! Piplup pip--Pip?" Tilting her head a bit, Sarah followed Stevie's gaze to a Ralts that looked lost and scared. It was holding a Pokéball and looking around. Had it gotten separated from its trainer? "Let's go help it. I can't leave it alone like that.""Pip!" Sarah started towards the Ralts, but stopped when she noticed someone on a bike ride up next to it. It was a ranger. Well, not an actual ranger. More or less someone from a Pokémon pound, or adoption center. "No way....I can't believe someone would just abandon that poor thing like they did. Deserters make me sick."
Sarah jogged over to the agent and Ralts, setting Stevie down so he could talk to the Ralts. "Excuse me, but does this Ralts have a trainer?" "Not anymore. She was adopted last week, but she's scared off all her trainers. They say she's either too detached or clingy." Sarah's cheeks puffed up irritably. That was horrible! She was going to pummel any of Ralts' old trainers if she ever saw them! "So, she's up for adoption again? Okay then! I'll take her. I bet she's a sweet girl passed her rough exterior." The agent was a bit unsure, but he had a copy of the adoption papers she could fill out. Sarah sat down and filled them out. After she was done, she handed them over. The agent handed her a copy of the return papers if she ever changed her mind, but she just shredded them in a disgusted rage after the guy left. It was sad the center actually anticipated that. After taking a breath, Sarah turned and knelt in front of Ralts. "Don't you worry. I won't give you away ever. It's great to meet you. I'm Sarah." Ralts' papers said the center named her Jane, and that made Sarah shudder. It was so plain and gross. "Muzét. I'm renaming you Muzét. It's a character from a video game who I was reminded of when the agent told me about you. It's a gorgeous name, isn't it?""Ra...." Sarah smiled softly and picked Muzét up, holding her gently.

Sarah saw immediately what the agent meant by too clingy and detached. Muzét didn't seem to show any emotion, and she clung to Sarah's shirt. She didn't think it was anything to abandon her over, though. Muzét was just being the type of personality she was. Maybe she was just scared to show emotion, or wasn't good at it. Whatever the problem, if there was one, Sarah would help her through it. "Uncle has two Gardevoir. Maybe he can help figure out if something's wrong or not." But, that could wait. She wanted to see if it was anything serious or not. If it was, she'd give her uncle a call.

Sarah spent some time going through her things, Stevie and Muzét sitting on the ground in front of her. She furrowed her brows again. What happened to the crystal shard her uncle gave her? Maybe she forgot to pack it. Well, she could always get another one somewhere if she did lose it. Callum wasn't going to be happy, though. He went through a lot to get some of these items for her. Standing again, she picked up Muzét and let Stevie jump onto her shoulder. "Okay! Off to Lake Verity!"

Yuki exited Professor Rowan's lab, glad that he had gotten his starter pokemon and was looking forward to the start of his journey. Along with the pokemon, he had enough supplies to last him a long time. The thing he was most happy about, what the pokedex, that would come in handy and he'd be able to learn a lot more about pokemon. Usually, when he left a building, it was generally very cold out, but that wouldn't be the case for a long while. It was nice that the change was so drastic, but he still felt as though he needed his scarf. Then again, he never went anywhere without the thing. Yuki let out a slight sigh as he knew that it'd take time before he was used to the warmer climate. Either way, he wasn't going to complain about the weather, his trip was just starting after all. Yuki had heard that the next town would be Sandgem Town. He didn't want to stay in Twinleaf Town for too long, so the first step in his adventure was easy. "Alright then, time to go." Yuki spoke to himself before starting to walk, glad to finally be starting.

Yuki wasn't sure why, but he felt the need to move on to the next town as fast as possible. He wasn't about to run, obviously, but he would head out of Twinleaf Town as soon as possible. The map on his PokéNav had shown him that it wouldn't take too long to get to Sandgem, so perhaps that was the reason. Either way, Yuki wasn't about to change his mind as he had made it to the outskirts of Twinleaf Town. He glanced back and was happy to have started his journey in such a nice little town. He wasn't too used to small places like this, but he imagined he'd get used to it in time. With that done, he turned back and walked out of town and off toward Sandgem Town. It wouldn't take too long by foot, so he was at least pleased by that fact.

The path between Twinleaf Town and Sandgem Town didn't take too long to traverse. Route 201 was the first one had to travel to really start his journey. Of course it would be the easiest. For Yuki, nothing happened as he finally came to the town entrance. Things had started off good and he was glad to make it to Sandgem town, he did hear that their was a beach to the south and wanted to visit that before he continued on. The only beaches he had ever seen were full of rocks, driftwood, snow, and ice. It really wasn't a pleasant place to spend an afternoon. This is why the boy liked cold weather, but also disliked it. It wasn't too bad when there weren't any storms or wind, but sometimes it was nice to just picture a nice warm beach. Either way, this was the perfect place to meet his pokemon. Piplup would like the beach since it was near water, Houndour would like it since the sun would be warm, and Sneasel, like Yuki hadn't really been exposed to such a place before. This would be the best place to start. He nodded a bit and walked forward into Sandgem Town and headed south toward the beach.

Sammy arrives in Twinleaf with her newly obtained Willow in toe. She was able to endure his wait for quite some time but in the end she had to set him down. He looked up at her with his large smile which Sammy couldn’t resist. “Okay buddy you ready to go on an adventure". The Turtwig happily nodded in approval. Alright, she grabs its pokeball and the tiny pokemon returns. She places it back in her backpack and heads out to a place that was populated with wild pokemon. She goes over to group of road signs and closely scans them. Lake Verity seemed like the most promising place. She also gets the chance to check out pretty scenery. Poseidon tilted his head softly as he hopled up onto her shoulder. Who was this man, and why was his trainer looking for him? Poseidon couldn't read, so he had no clue what the poster said."Pip?""...He's my dad. He went missing when I was a kid."Oh. Well, Poseidon didn't want to ignore that. He'd definitely help her find him. Ophelia sounded sad telling him about it, and he didn't necessarily enjoy that tone.

For an out of shape smoker, Kail certainly didn't seem to like doing nothing very much. He bounced his leg a bit on the train ride, looking out the window with Fennekin, then opened said window to let some air in, and then so that he could smoke without letting any of the smell waft through the train. Fennekin wrinkled up his nose at the scent, jerking back and toppling off Kail's lap, which the trainer blatantly ignored. The fox pokemon hopped instead up on Apollo's side, across from his trainer, to continue sight seeing, until they finally arrived in Sinnoh.
By then, Kail had put out his cigarette and fell asleep, but he woke as the train came to a jerking halt, returning Fennekin and getting up to leave without so much as a word. Once he was out, he waited for Apollo, already lighting another cigarette. "While you go do your--" he gestured around a bit, "'Thing', I'm going to go walk around, see if there are any stronger pokemon here. Lemme know when you want to leave or whatever." he informed him, before heading off, one hand on his joint, the other in his pants pocket.
