Yuki looked on as Sneasel attacked and to his surprise, it had finished off the Kricketot in one hit. He blinked a few times, almost not believing what he had seen. It was true however and the battle was already over. Despite his shock, clearly he was still very happy that Sneasel had done so well. Yuki grinned a bit and looked toward Sneasel with a proud look in his eyes. "That was great Sneasel, good work. It wasn't the greatest of battles, but I guess you can stay out of your pokeball while Houndour gets his turn." He said with a nod as he figured that was the best way to at least keep Sneasel happy. She seemed to want to battle the most and for it to end so quickly, it just didn't seem fair at all. His attention turned toward Sneasel as she handed him the Lucky Egg. Clearly the Kricketot had been carrying it, but he had heard that this was common from other trainers. Pokemon sometimes found items out in the wild or in cities and carried them with them. Either way, Yuki figured it was best just to keep it as he put it into his back pack and nodded to Sneasel. "I think we can find a use for this."
Sneasel was glad that Yuki was happy even though the battle was kind of disappointing. Either way, she was happy to hear that she'd be able to stick around and watch Houdour battle the next pokemon. ["Alright, that works for me, though you better let me fight again after that."] She said a little impatiently as the Ice and Dark pokemon looked up toward Yuki as he placed the Lucky Egg inside his bag. ["I'm glad we at least got something out of that battle though."] Sneasel said before looking around, wondering if they try to find another wild pokemon in the small park

Yuki figured that they might as well try to search the small park for at least one more pokemon to battle. Though, for the time being, they just needed to look and more eyes searching would help it move quicker. Yuki reached for his belt and took Houndour's pokeball into his hand let Houndour out of his pokeball. He looked toward the Dark and Fire type pokemon who appeared eager to get started. "Hello again, Houndour. Piplup and Sneasel won their battles, so it's your turn now, we just need to find another wild pokemon in this park." Yuki said to him before looking back toward Sneasel, knowing that both of them would help look for a pokemon. With that out of the way, Yuki went back to exploring the small park and keeping his eyes open for any movement at all.
Sneasel was searching in the same fast pace as before. It didn't seem like it would be the best way to look for a wild pokemon, but somehow it worked well for her. She stopped searching as Yuki let Houndour out of his pokeball and explained the situation to him. ["Lets find this pokemon already, so the battle can start."] She said impatiently, mostly to the other pokemon. Sneasel went back to searching for signs of movements.
Houndour looked around as he was let out of his pokeball. It didn't take long for Yuki to explain what had happened with the first two battles. It appeared that it was his turn next as he was prepared to battle whatever they found. His attention turned toward Sneasel as she was wanting to find a wild pokemon so the battle would happen a lot quicker. ["I'll take on anything we can find, no matter how long it takes to find."] Houndour said as he was ready to take on anything as he helped the other two search for a wild pokemon.

Yuki continued to search through the tall grass and trees in the small park. Sneasel and Houndour were both helping out in looking for a wild pokemon to battle. He was hopeful that they'd be able to find one and was glad to have both of their help. Yuki was looking forward to moving on to the next city, but wanted to get in a battle with each of his pokemon. Two had already battled wonderfully, so it was now Houndour's turn. "If you hear or see anything, tell me before invest-" His words were cut off as there was the sudden sound of rustling in the tall grass nearby. His eyes looked toward the rustling grass as it seemed to be getting closer. He looked toward both his pokemon and nodded a bit as the two of them had heard the rustling and came back to their trainers side. Sneasel wanted to battle again, but she knew that It was Houndour's battle to have.["Finally found another one, you better make quick work of this one, Houndour."]The Dark and Ice type said in her usual hasty reply. Houndour moved in front of Yuki and looked toward the rustling grass as the noise was getting closer and closer. He wasn't the type to back down from whatever came out of the grass. The pokemon was ready for anything and didn't need Sneasel's comment to fight.["Don't worry, whatever it is, I will defeat it."]The Dark and Fire type pokemon said firmly as he really wanted to get stronger, to keep them all safe.

Dust flies as a girl and her Turtwig race through the quiet town of sandgem. They had no intention of staying in town for very long. They just wanted to see as much of Sinnoh as they could. They make it to the other side of town and it seems willow had won the race.“Aww man your fast for a pokemon”. Willow jumps up in excitement at the thought of beating its trainer. They dance around for a little while before they get back to business. They had to keep exploring, so that meant they had to move to the next town. They set out once again, with hopes for the future. Yuki watched on with interest as the grass continued to rustle. This was the exciting part, waiting to see just what wild pokemon would show itself. They had been through this a few times already, but clearly it felt longer for a pokemon like Sneasel who just wanted to know what pokemon would appear already. The pokemon let out a sigh before speaking.["Cmon already, this waiting is killing me"]Eventually the pokemon had emerged through the grass and came to a stop in front of them. Yuki was hoping that it would be a pokemon he hadn't seen before, but was disappointed when a Shinx had appeared. "Aw, another Shinx. Alright, Houndour, we're not catching it, but lets get you some experience." Despite not catching it, he didn't want Houndour to miss out on battling for the first time. Houndour was glad to hear that his trainer at least wanted to help him get stronger.["That's fine with me, lets battle."]With that said, Houndour stepped forward and prepared to fight the wild Shinx.

Once again, it was time to battle the wild Shinx. Yuki looked toward Houndour and then back toward the Shinx as he was prepared to take on the wild pokemon. "Alright, lets do this, Houndour, use Ember on it." Yuki said as he figured it would be Houndour's strongest attack at this point. His pokemon nodded as he was ready and once Yuki told him which move to use, the pokemon jumped into action. Houndour opened his mouth and shot bolts of fire toward the wild Shinx. The fire attack hit it's mark and once again, Yuki was surprised to see the attack do as much damaged as it did. The Shinx was hit hard and knocked back and onto the ground.

The wild pokemon had fainted from the one attack and this made Houndour feel pretty happy with himself. Clearly he was proud that he could help Yuki and the others out by winning with one move. Despite that, he stayed quiet as he wasn't the type of pokemon to brag. Sneasel on the other hand was there to brag for him.["Nice, took it out in one hit, just like me."]Yuki could only let out a slight chuckle as he had a feeling he knew what Sneasel was thinking. Either way, he liked her spirit and knew that despite wanting things to go quickly, she would be a strong pokemon in the future.

Yuki was glad that the newest battle was over and they could now move onto the next city on the journey. He took out his PokeNav and switched to the mode with the map. The trainer studied what it said and could see right away that the next place they'd be heading to was Jubilife City. It just so happened to be the biggest city in Sinnoh and a place Yuki had always wanted to visit. Being in a town so far north made going to other cities a lot more exciting. He put the PokeNav again and looked toward the two pokemon who were still out of their balls. Travelling with both of them out seemed like it might be a little hard at the moment, so he decided it'd be best to return one. "Okay guys, we're heading to the next City now. I'm glad you all got a chance to battle with me. I'm sure we'll have more chances. I think it'd be best if you returned, Sneasel." He said as he took out her pokeball and returned the pokemon to it.["Alright, travelling by foot sounds like a pain anyways."]Sneasel said before she was safely back into her pokeball. Now that that was out of the way, Yuki looked toward Houndour and nodded a bit before speaking to the pokemon. "Well then, lets get going." Yuki said before he started to walk out of the small park and back into Sandgem Town and toward the outskirts of town. Houndour followed along with Yuki, the canine pokemon had an easy time of keeping up with Yuki and was glad to be out of the pokeball.["I guess I can stay out for the time being."]Houndour clearly seemed to be happy to travelling along with his trainer.

Yuki continued to walk toward the outskirts of Sandgem Town. The place wasn't that big, so it didn't take him and Houndour very long to finally reach the edge of town. He was glad that they were headed to the next stop on his adventure. Things had been going well so far and he wondered what kind of experience he'd have in a big city lie Jubilife. With Houndour by his side, he was pretty sure things would go well.

Yuki walked out of town and onto Route 202 with Jubilife City off in the distance. Being able to see it from this distance made Yuki really understand just how big a city could get. He was a little intimidated with the idea and hoped that he wouldn't end up getting lost while there. "Looks like this city will be an interesting stop on our trip. Really hope we don't get lost." Yuki said with a weak chuckle as he looked down toward Houndour. They didn't stop while Yuki spoke, so Houndour continued to walk along next to his trainer before replying.["Even if we do get lost, It'll be okay since I'll be with you."]Houndour replied in his same brave way as he was confident they'd be fine with him out of his pokeball. Yuki grinned a bit at Houndour, glad to have such a loyal pokemon at his side. His mother had really given him a great pokemon to start out with.
Yuki and Houndour continued down the road on their way to Jubilife City. It had felt like it would take a long time to get there, but before they knew it, they had made it to the City Limits. "That didn't take as long as I thought. Lets go find a pokemon center, I could use a break." Yuki said with a slight yawn as he really hadn't taken the time to stop on the trip so far. It also seemed like a good idea to let his pokemon recover.

Well, it looked like Audino wasn't going to come back for awhile. Which meant she'd have to find out what scared Audino while she was gone. Maybe she didn't want to be a tamed Pokemon? Hm. Well, for now, it was off to Jubilife City!

Stepping into the next town, Kail looked around, eyes dulling crossing over the homes and visible areas. The cigarette hung from his mouth, lips curved down into a frown, and then a scowl. There was no sign of Apollo, and with a shake of his head, he moved on, pulling the cigarette from his mouth and dropping it down, crushing it with his foot and moving on.
Fritz trotted behind him, yelping as he managed to trip over his own feet again, tumbling and landing face first in the ground. Kail didn't even slow down or glance back, and Fritz picked himself up, blinking when he finally noticed the cigarette. He puffed out his cheeks a bit, then blew a small blast of flame, incinerating the cigarette and, luckily, not setting any nearby greenery on fire, before hurrying to run after Kail and catch up with his trainer.

Kail began making his way through the town, pulling out another cigarette, and lifting a lighter, only to pause and look at the two a moment. He sighed, tucking both away, apparently changing his mind, and, only a few seconds later, stifling a cough. No wonder-- he'd been chain smoking since stepping out of the train, and he hadn't been taking much of a break before or after, either. It was probably the stress of having to deal with that blond idiot....
He shook his head, glancing down at Fritz to see him giving a curious look, but lifts his gaze to continue searching for Apollo.
So far, there was no sign of him, and at this point, he was considering just taking advantage of the opportunity to ditch and go. He was pretty sure they hadn't exchanged contact info, right? ... Probably. Unless he just didn't remember... Whatever, he could say he was looking for him, if they had, and Apollo chose to call. In the meantime, he might as well train... but looking around, even the pokemon that appeared, didn't seem especially strong...

Ultimately, Kail decided to post pone training until he could find some pokemon stronger than the ones here. He didn't want to waste time, and though his pokemon weren't high level, they were high enough. Definitely higher than these, and even if his weaker pokemon started struggling against the wild pokemon, he had Mareepa and the other higher level, oddly colored pokemon to make sure he didn't somehow lose his whole team to some powerful wild pokemon.
With that decided, he set off through the town, leaving his concerns of following Apollo well behind him, with the singed remains of his last cigarette.

Making his way to Sandgem, Kail absently swept the area for signs of Apollo, but still, the blond was nowhere to be found. Well, alright. He was going to officially consider himself off the hook, and glanced down briefly at the Fennekin trotting alongside him, who seemed to be curiously gazing around, obviously a bit puzzled as to why they came back. Whatever, he'd see when they got there. Hopefully the little guy wasn't socially shy... or as clumsy as he had been, so far. He hadn't had a lot of his pokemon very long-- which reminded him, he needed to get Lelanna and Cyndaquil sometime soon-- but he had a feeling that at least Liligant would likely enjoy where they were going...
