With the morning dew, the duo was off towards Eterna Forest. Dallas, dubbing a more toned down appearance seemed to be taking on the persona of his alternate self, as she noted him hiding the various tattoos that littered his body. The subject of tattoo's was on Temperance's mind for the most part, revolving around if she'd ever get one, and what Dallas' tattoo's meant, but the question or thought never left her mind. She hadn't even noticed the silence between them until Dallas spoke up. The blonde looked over towards him, her eyes staring in thought before she looked back towards the path. "I like it." She replied. "Well, from what I've seen. The journey from town to town is relatively short, unlike back home. It takes nearly a 3 or 4 days to travel between some towns." Returning her gaze to Dallas, Temperance offered a smile, a thoughtful look in her eyes. "What other regions have contest halls? I'd like to visit other regions after I'm done here." Her interest in the contest halls was more or less because she was interested in learning more about their designs and way of operating... for future reference. When she was done traveling Sinnoh... which was likely going to be a long ways away.

Meanwhile, as they were walking, Din lingered behind, floating over Azalev and Daphnes as they walked. Suddenly, from the trees above, a Murkrow shot out and slammed into Din, sending the little psychic sprite flying into some brush. Azalev and Daphnes both stopped, ready to attack, but before they could get a chance the bird was already back in a tree hiding within it's branches. When Din floated back into the clearing, she narrowed her gaze on the tree Azalev motioned towards. 'Okay, bird brain. Where are you?' She growled keeping her eyes narrowed in on the tree. The bird flew out once more, casting a Haze over the group. Din didn't let this bother her. 'What a coward. Let's see how you like it?' Without a second of hesitation the psychic flew forward at an astonishing speed and slammed a red hot fist right into the egotistical birds beak, knocking it clean from the air and into the forest floor.

Needless to say, Din was rather shocked. She wasn't aware she could use such a move. Daphnes grunted with a look of amusement. Keeping her eyes on her hand, the trio continued forward, rejoining Temperance, Dallas and Duchess.

Dallas was pretty surprised by how far places seemed to be in Amarantha. "No s**t? That sounds like a real pain in the a**!" It sounded like either a large country or a very sparse country, whichever of the two. Either way, it sounded like it would be an interesting place to explore and check out. Maybe I'll check it out when Tamara gets her country's s**t together, he decided. The way she was smiling, she was definitely fond of the place. It was an alien feeling for Dallas; he could take or leave Goldenrod City any day of the week. Then again, he wasn't the king of Goldenrod City, either. Head honcho of the Kamikaze Gang kinda counts, he mused. He wondered about the boys for a minute until Tamara posed her question about contest halls. "Huh?" He found himself rubbing his right shoulder, and quickly withdrew his hand. "Oh, right, well..now that I think of it, there's just Sinnoh and Hoenn. That's the only regions with established contest halls and rules. You can find unofficial and even illegal contests in other places, though. Hell, me an' Beltigre's debut was while trespassing a warehouse in Hao'oli City in Alola. That's where we met Naomi, too...But yeah, rumor is, Kalos might get a contest league started sooner or later. And I'm thinking, how the hell do they not? It's the fashion capital of the world, and they don't have contests. Stupid as s**t, I tell ya."

While Dallas traveled up ahead with Duchess, Susan and Beltigre wandered behind with Daphnes, Din and Azalev. They had just witnessed Din pull off a Fire Punch, and Susan clapped happily. Hooray for Din! Fire Punchies are bestest! Beltigre grumbled to herself; recently, she hadn't gotten much attention recently, as as much she wouldn't just ask for attention, she wanted it. So, when Susan started gushing about the dumb lake spirit and her stupid fire punch, the Torracat dashed off into the brush. After some hissing and sound of chirping, Beltigre emerged from the bushes with a fainted hoothoot, slightly smoldered from her Fire Fang, but very much alive. She spat it out, and placed a paw over her quarry proudly. Susan sized up the quarry, and smiled. Oh, Beltigre used Fire Biteys! That's kinda bestest, but.....Fire Punchies still bestest! Beltigre grumbled once more, and shot a glare at Din before getting back on the move again.

Temperance nodded her head, finding Dallas' surprise amusing. Was it so hard to believe? "Only Sinnoh and Hoenn? And now Alola..." She'd heard of Hoenn and Alola on some accounts, even seen pictures. "All of these places are essentially islands." Temperance noted. Was that on purpose? Or was it pure coincidence? One may never know. "Well I hope they do. From the pictures I've seen, Alola seems the perfect place for outdoor contests to take place." Bright sunshine, cloudless skies, Sunkissed shores... and the ocean. Well, for Temperance the Ocean was out of the picture. Sadly not out of her mind. In an attempt to stop thinking about a big open body of water, she looked back to Dallas. "Who is Naomi by the way? Another coordinator?"

Din and her small crew were heading back to Dallas and Temperance, when the smell of smoke and burnt feathers caught their attention, soon followed by Susan's reiteration of 'Fire punchies' being better. Din turned, a mischievous look in her eyes. 'You got that right, Susan. Fire Punchies are far superior.' The sprite floated back towards Beltigre and Susan, raising one of her nubs into the air. 'You wanna go furball?' She continued. Looking up her gaze focused in on a Beautifly coming down to suckle the nectar from a nearby late blooming berry tree. Floating over to the butterfly, she smacked a nub into her other nub. 'Hey, Butterwings, wanna fight?' She inquired. The beautifly... would of rather run, but with a thicker tree to her back and being rather hungry she fluttered into the air. Seeing the challenge excepted, Din took the first move; flying at the butterfly with a fiery fist. One solid punch and the bug was knocked out cold. Once more the victor, Din turned back around a prideful look in her eyes.

Dallas shrugged at Tamara's observation. "Yeah, I guess they're all islands," he replied, not very committed to the topic. "But Alola is more Island-y than the rest, for sure. Gotta take ferries all over the place...huh?" Tamara made an inquiry about Naomi. Did I mention him? Oh geez, you dork! He felt his cheeks warm up a little, but he quickly got back his composure...only to lose it again. "Naomi's...well, Naomi's my...friend. Well, kinda more than a friend, maybe? It's complicated." He stuffed his hands in his pockets, and averted his gaze. "We met when I was trying to shake these goons at that illegal contest," he continued. "That idiot was really interested in contests, so I started tutoring for awhile, being the dashing Ausitn, right? But next thing I know, there I am as my good ol' gangster self, taking Naomi out to a sushi joint in a friggin' yukata-that's like, a manly dress for men, just so you know." The redness was impossible to hide by then, so he just ignored it. "And...we kissed. Well, Naomi kissed me, and then I kissed Naomi back, and now I'm all sorts of screwed up! Stupid Naomi...and stupid Tamara, for bringing it up!" He felt good getting it out in the open, but it was against his nature, so he decided to power through and keep moving forward with vigor.

Meanwhile, Beltigre was pissed. Din had once again proven the power of the Fire Punch. Jealousy was a new feeling for the torracat, but she wasn't going to let it go anytime soon. Right as the Beautifly hit the forest floor, a wurmple peaked out from behind a tree branch to see what the commotion was all about. Beltigre locked eyes with it, and it was immediately affected by her intimidating glare. When Beltigre started to dart towards it, it tried to run away. But, the fire cat was already upon it, having scaled the tree with ease, and clamped fiery fangs on the worm before flinging it to the ground in a rather unsportsmanlike fashion. She landed up in the tree, and shot a devilish smirk at Din. Susan checked on the wurmple. It was alive, but goodness, did it not want to be right about now. Otay! So, Fire Punchies and Fire Biteys are tied so far...hm, maybe Biteys and Punchies are both good? Maybe humans know. I should go ask Fancy Dalpha and Princess Stoneywall later.

Temperance nodded when Dallas mentioned Alola being more island-y than the others. She'd read something about that there were several islands in fact. Perhaps even more off the coasts of the mainlands that others hadn't really noted. Of course Kanto's sevii islands likely had it beat. She wouldn't mind taking a ferry... it would be her first time technically. Amarantha only had one major river, and there were several bridges one could use to cross over it with. The topic of Alola shifted slightly, when Dallas explained who Naomi was. "I know what..-" She paused continuing to listen to Dallas instead of telling him she knew what a Yukata was. She had the opportunity once to wear a Kimono for a party with some foreigners from Sinnoh.

Noting how red Dallas' face was, Temperance didn't really take the 'stupid' comment to heart. She'd managed to embarrass him by merely asking who someone was. Was it so hard for him to believe he could like, or even love someone? "Well, they certainly must be something to get that sort of affection out of you." Temperance replied, grinning playfully. It was nice being able to be the one teasing instead of being the teased. Just then Temperance's phone made a noise signaling she had a message. Pulling out the phone from her coat pocket she saw the message from Umbra. 'Keep an eye peeled. Friends have been spotted in Sinnoh.' Temperance deleted the message, biting her bottom lip for a moment before her eyes noticed the reply from Mr. Weiß. 'I forgot to respond to him....' She did so then, quickly typing up a message and sending it promptly.

Wait until we--' Din began to retort before she noticed what Susan had actually said. 'Wait, Susan!' Din voiced, floating before Susan with both hands held forward. 'Did you just say 'princess' Stoneywall? Can you do me a favor and.... don't call her that.' The sprite requested, floating in closer. 'I'll give you all my yummies and gossip on Dalpha's emotions if you just go back to calling her plain ol' Stoneywall, 'kay?' Noting how much Temperance hated being called princess, it was understandable. Her disquise wasn't all that expert, but still.... Going around calling her 'Princess' someone would catch on.
