The Wayward Cave is a two-story cave in Sinnoh hidden under the Cycling Path. There is a hidden entrance directly under Cycling Road west of the main Wayward Cave entrance. This cave is notably the only habitat of wild Gible.
Wayward Cave is just as the name suggests; it is very easy to get lost in. Most of the caves features are the same and are repeated at every twist and turn. The cave is very dark, and light is hard to find.

Big Mushroom: Effect: These mushrooms are used to teach a single Pokemon one Egg Move. To Obtain: 30 posts Notes: Moves can be from past generations of games but the guild refers to the latest games for the basic list.

Without Noel, Riley didn't have anything that good to use against an Onix. She'd just have to have Seul use, "Dark Pulse!" Since Seul was a lot stronger than the Onix, it only took four attacks to finish it off. During that time it used Stealth Rocks, for some reason, and then Rock Tomb and Rage, though it didn't gain much power before Seul knocked it out.

Excited, Riley pulled out her pokedex, but it turned out that the pokemon was a Bronzor. "Part Psychic, huh?" Seul could make quick work of that. It took him three dark pulses, and luckily the Bronzor tried Psybeam for a while before it realized it wasn't working, and by the time it used Iron Defense it was too late.

Another ground/rock type appeared, this time a Geodude. "Gosh, there sure are a lot of these..." She sent out Niko, and he made quick work of it with two Iron Tails. Thankfully it just tackled Niko instead of using Magnitude- Riley was worried the whole mountain might come crashing down on them if it did that!

Riley found Niko smacking his lips and coughing. Bits and pieces of something littered the cave floor, like he'd eaten something. Before Riley could freak out, a Bronzor appeared. Niko attacked it with an Iron tail, but barely damaged the think as it went for a psybeam. Angered, Niko rushed forward into the darkness, disappearing completely. The Bronzor looked this way and that, but couldn't see the wolf at all before it fell upon it, tearing the poor thing apart. Niko attacked it with a discharge when it didn't stay down.

Riley returned Niko and looked over the dark space. "We've been walking for a while...maybe Zeke could help us." With his new wings, maybe flying around the cave wouldn't be too hard for him. Sure enough, Zeke was happy to zip along, flying steadily in front of them and leading the way deeper into the cave. Every once in a while he'd stop and flutter back, using one wing to gently nudge Riley around some obstacle obscured by the darkness. At one point they came upon a Geodude, but a Giga Drain solved that problem quickly enough.
