When it appeared that the next battle was over and done with Alexandra did her best to brave the winds, stepping away from Tropius to get a better view of the battle. She instantly took note of her starter's injuried state, though he tried his best to hide it there was just no way he could hide his back-and-forth weaving and lethargic appearance. For his sake Alexandra called him back and sent out Comet to take on the strange woman's next pokemon, and throughout his battle she did her best to both keep an eye out on him but try and keep warm, the latter was a bit easier, seeing as how she now had Caldo by her side.

Trying to keep some semblance of dignity about her Alexandra didn't huddle up and cuddle Caldo, despite the warmth he provided, and instead simply stuck close to the Monferno, her eyes glued to the battle. She looked away only when a shadow overfell her and the brunette tilted her chin up to find that Tropius had now joined her, drawn by the warmth Caldo's fire provided. It was, of course, wary of the fire along its tail, but a potential burn certainly wasn't enough to deter it away.

When a new pokemon was sent out Alexandra straightened up, shivering, and quickly returned Comet before she sent out Xion. The Mega Mawile made quick work of her opponent, though barely had time to celebrate as she began to shiver from the cold. Chuckling in understanding Alexandra quickly returned her pokemon then watched, quietly, as the woman spat to the side angrily before she retreated-- just in time for Aja to return with a large smile. "Found it~" she announced, pausing to watch the figure of Alexandra's ex-opponent retreat. The woman chuckled as she approached Tropius, patting its flank before she hopped back onto its back. "Taking care of things I see. That's good! Now let's get out of here, I bet you're freezing."
Now wasn't that an understatement. Not wanting to waste time arguing or complaining Alexandra simply nodded before she rubbed Caldo's head, appreciative of his participation in the battle and acting as a heater, before she returned him to his pokeball. With that done the brunette took the hand outstretched out to her and, with a soft grunt, climbed back onto Tropius. Taking a deep breath, Ajicka stood outside the pokecenter for a moment to collect herself. ZK was inside, which meant she would have to deal with that, and not to mention, this would be the seventh gym leader. Seventh, as in... things were about to get pretty difficult. On the bright side of that, it was ice, and she practically specialized in fire types, even if she had no intention of that what so ever. On the downside, not all her fire types were that strong. On the bright side, steel type moves were pretty easy to come by, and some of her stronger pokemon were fire, annnnd even Venusaur had resistance thanks to his mega evolution. Still, she would need time to sort things out. And even with the freezing cold, the knowledge that ZK was inside ultimately urged her to pull out her jacket, bundle up, and sink down on the ground outside, to begin figuring it out.

Surprisingly, Ajicka really didn't have to do much consideration before she had everything planned out. She did the quick exchange, mentally apologizing to Elle, before standing up and brushing herself off. She eyed the door to the pokecenter for a bit, before resigning, striding in, and heading straight for the PC. She withdrew Nidoking to fill the empty spot on her team, and then promptly turned, looking, finally, to see if she could find some sign of ZK. She did, unfortunately, and noticed him sitting in the corner with a few girls, very blatantly flirting with a wolfish grin on his face. She rolled her eyes, trying not to feel sick to her stomach, and strode over. "Hey, ZK, doctor just called about your hair problem," she called as she approached, "Want to go get that ointment now or later?" The zoroark's gaze immediately snapped to her, and the two girls exchanged surprised glances, before giving him questioning, uncertain looks. He noticed their attention, then snarled, standing up and striding over to Ajicka, furious.
"What the hell--""--Is wrong with you?" Ajicka interrupted, seething, "You're a ******** pokemon, and unless those are two zoroark under there, there's no ******** way you should be flirting with them!" ZK twitched, his temper flaring even higher as he reached a hand up to grab her shirt. "Shut up! Don't call me--" Ajicka cut him off by lifting her hands and giving him a very hard shove in his chest, nearly knocking the air out of him as he stumbled back. "Dont' touch me. Get over yourself. Don't leave. I'm going to do some shopping and then I'm battling the gym leader. So unless you want to end our deal, just stay the ******** put and stop making an a** of yourself. Or if you prefer, you can leave now, and protect yourself," she stated flatly, before turning, and promptly striding off.
Surprisingly, she actually did plan to go shopping, and not for battle supplies. She was going to finally get some new clothes, while running through her battle plan just... one last time.

Frowning, Ajicka exited the store, her old clothes in her bag. She had stubbornly insisted to wear the clothes out, once she had paid for them, despite seeming disgruntled by the whole process. Shopping was not her thing. At all. But at least she was able to get something simple and comfortable, and it didn't take her too much time. The attendants had pretty much left her alone, too, perhaps sensing the dark aura of anger and annoyance radiating off her. She flashed a glance around the pokecenter on her way back out, but didn't see any sign of ZK. She wasn't worried. She would find him later.... or she wouldn't. Something inside her faltered at that thought, but not enough to slow her stride as she headed out into the cold. Her new jacket wasn't nearly as warm as something actually made for the weather-- but it was enough to brace her against the chill until she reached the pokecenter. Immediately, she grabbed a pokeball, making her way to the field, and challenging the gym leader.
As per usual, she wasn't here to waste time. Candice strode out, a spring in her step, and stopped across from Ajicka before placing her hands on her hips. "Well hey! I recognize that coat! It's from the pokemart store, right?" she remarked, grinning. Ajicka just stared. "... Can we just battle?" she muttered flatly. Candice blinked a bit in return. "... Heh, if you want! But you better be tough-- my pokemon and I are hard to shatter!" she boasted, before sending out her first pokemon. Ajicka smirked in return. "Yeah," she remarked dryly, enlarging the pokeball, "I bet. Dynamic Punch." She tossed the ball up, and in a darting ray of light, Nidoking appeared, striking down hard on sneasel, before leaping back, landing and giving a loud roar. "Nice to see you again, Nidoking. Welcome to the battle," Ajicka remarked, smirking. He turned his head slightly, giving a grumble of a greeting in return, but keeping his eyes on his opponent. Man... she had really missed some of her old teammates...

Despite her clear loss Candice couldn't help but nod firmly as her last pokemon fell, as if concluding herself that the battle was truly over. "You and your pokemon really know how to make an entrance," she teased as she flounced over to Ajicka, the admiration clear in her eyes. "You definitely deserve the Icicle Badge, pluuuus this: Blizzard!" Candice beamed as she introduced to the trainer her winnings, clearly not at all sore because of her loss. "If you plan on doing a little shopping before you leave, I bet if you mention my name they'll give a discount at the Pokemart store~" Even if Ajicka hadn't been... eager to talk fashion, perhaps she would appreciate a bit of a deal. "Anyway, congratulations! And good luck against Volkner!"

Ajicka scoffed a bit, but smirked, in better spirits after her victory. She hadn't meant to be flashy but... well, sometimes it came naturally. Not being flashy, just... making a big entrance. Big pokemon were sort of her style, really. Not on purpose, but... Jas, Nidoking, Swampert, Metagross... a lot of her main team had been pretty hefty pokemon. And now... she was getting to battle with them again. It was honestly a bit relaxing, but her biggest challenge lay just ahead. She would have to focus on that soon... She pressed her lips together but tried to force herself to maintain a smile as she took the prizes and endured Candice's remarks on shopping. "... Thanks," she managed, tucking her winnings away. Ajicka made her way back to the pokecenter, tugging at her coat and bracing herself against the cold. She bowed her head and strode to the building, ducking in and shaking off some snow before looking around. She couldn't see ZK, so-- oh. There he was. Sitting off to the side, looking grumpy, but at least not quite as temperamental as before. She stood by the door for a moment, silently debating whether to even bother with him, but ultimately conceded to the inevitable and walked over. "So? Did you make up your mind? Is our 'deal' still on?" she asked, folding her arms to the side as she came to a stop before him, her weight shifted to one side. ZK raised his gaze to her, visibly annoyed, but didn't stand. "No," he replied, then looked off. She raised her eyebrows, but got the sense that he wasn't done, and simply gave him quite the expectant, impatient look. "Or... I don't know. I think I need to be by myself again..." he decided, frown deepening.
It took all of her self control not to roll her eyes. "Fine. You seem like you need to work some s**t out anyway. Call or don't, if you need help... I can get there fast if you do," she said. She looked at him a moment, considering. "... Don't worry about it. I don't care either way, so just... do whatever," she added, dropping her arms and looking away, over at the nurses station. She looked back at ZK. "Do you need a lift somewhere?" she asked. ZK shifted, then stood, looking off still. "Yeah, sort of... Can I borrow your teleporter for a bit?" he asked. Ajicka narrowed her eyes, but then rolled them, shrugging, and starting off. "Yeah, sure. Stay safe, idiot," she muttered, heading to go get her pokemon healed, so she could move on to the next city.

Noel shivered, now this was really something he wasn’t expecting. Of course, it was in the name Snowpoint but he wasn’t really expecting to be heading to a winter wonderland for an egg hunt. The thought of searching through all this snow to try and find the egg just made him shiver more. This egg hunt was certainly taking him places that he was ill prepared for. He supposed he was lucky to have a big hoodie sweater on in this situation. His pokemon though, not so much. Sherlock didn’t see to bothered, having the fur coat to keep him warm and Mattimeo seemed surprisingly chipper. Only Algernon responded to the cold, little grey body beginning to shiver in response.

Noel scooped the Espurr up and tucked him in his jacket to help share body heat to keep them warm. Algernon gave a coo and looked up at Noel in response to the kind gesture, the young man smiling and looking down at the Espurr to let him know that it was okay. There was a lot of snow in Snowpoint, which made its name even more fitting. He honestly hoped that the egg wasn’t buried under the snow or something. Or Arceus forbid, painted white to match the snow. That would make it next to impossible to find in this snow ridden town. Sherlock was hard at work, sniffing through the snow and moving his nose through it, creating little line patterns as they marched along. It was kind of funny to watch to be honest.

Mattimeo of course, was just leaving massive craters in the snow, bouncing from one spot to the next. That was also kind of humorous; his round body left no evidence that it had been a pokemon who’d left those prints save for the slightest of indents that were his feet. However, it took close inspection to notice that. From far away, it looked like a series of playing balls had been bounced in the snow to cause the dents. Noel smiled a bit to himself, moving his foot through the snow to make a sort of curved line under two of the prints that Mattimeo had left, creating an uneven eyed smiley face in the process. He chuckled at the sight, Algernon shifting in his shirt as well.

Sherlock gave an alert bark and Noel shifted his gaze from the silly face he’d made to the pokemon in question. Sherlock was staring straight into a set of snow-covered bushes and so Noel knelt down to the best of his abilities without jostling Algernon from his spot too much, gently pushing branches aside to check. There was indeed an egg hidden in the area and Noel sighed in relief. Great! He snatched it up and sent it off, quickly ushering everyone back to the rider. The sooner they got away from this frozen place the better.
