Solaceon Town is a town in central Sinnoh. It is the location of Solaceon Ruins. It is a fairly small town with a tiny village community.
Solaceon Town is a temperate town where people and Pokémon can relax. According to the town's locals, there was once nothing there but a road, but people and Pokémon gathered and a town formed. Solaceon Town is populated mostly by Ranchers and Cowgirls, and appears to be a farming community. As mentioned by a local, there were big Pokémon ranches around the town in the past. Most of the town residents live on the western side of town, near the main road. The eastern side of town is full of trees and ledges, resembling a maze. Solaceon Ruins is located on the far east side of town.
Close to the town are the Lost Tower, a tomb for deceased Pokémon, and the Hallowed Tower, home of Spiritomb.
This town is also home to the couple who run the region's newspaper.

Pokeball Smith Holgvir will create Apricorn and Gem Pokeballs in this area.

After Hearthome City, Solaceon seemed an especially small town. On the road in Riley stopped at a fruit stand and bought herself a Lum Berry, planning to grow in into many more over the course of the next few days. She purchased a Sirtus Berry as well, but it wasn't ripe yet and so she'd need to wait a bit longer to plant it.

Arriving in Solaceon Town Simon returned Noivern and looked around the town, it felt familiar then it clicked. He had come here because just outside the city was the Lost Tower where he had gone to catch Spirtomb. Moving around the peaceful city he found the tall grass and went into it hoping to find a Bonsly right away.

The first Pokemon to appear wasn't the one he was looking for though it used to be a much rarer sight back in Kanto where it was first discovered. "Chansey the egg Pokemon. Chansey lays nutritionally excellent eggs on an everyday basis. The eggs are so delicious, they are easily and eagerly devoured by even those people who have lost their appetite."

After the battle, since it was an HM, Simon decided to teach Marshtomp Surf along with healing him up. Not just for travel but because it was a powerful water attack that could hit multiple foes if a horde surrounded them. Walking pass a tree they were attacked by a Zubat that fell upon them from the branches.

After defeating the bat Pokemon it was followed by a bird one. The Pokedex described it as, "Starly the starling Pokemon. They flock around mountains and fields, chasing after bug Pokemon. Their singing is noisy and annoying." Hearing it twittering at him Simon smiled and sent Marshtomp out for battle.

Trading out Snubbull for Bonsly on his team Simon went to the Pokecenter in order to heal his team up especially Noivern for the trip back to the islands. Once outside he sent out his flying Pokemon and fed him some Pokefood he had gotten inside which tasted good to Noivern and would give him more strength for the flight. Climbing on Simon told him to take him to Island Five, Lady Selphy's home and off they went.

At last, Scarlett had reached Solaceon Town. The ruins were within her reach, but unfortunately her decision to walk and take the train all the way here instead of calling Skye up for another flight favor meant that it was late and Scarlett was tired. Not to mention that her pokemon, or at least the ones she'd been training, were tired as well. With a stretch of her arms Scarlett reluctantly began directing her entourage towards the pokemon center instead of the ruins, and Cypher cocked his head curiously. "Er... Captain, the ruins are this way." The porygon z attempted to correct, but Scarlett continued towards the center. "Tsk... Don'tcha be thinkin' I knew that already?" She snapped irritably. "It's late, I'm tired, and I'm pretty damn sure Nala is tired too." Scarlett huffed, glancing at the little lioness. "Rrreo...." Nala reluctantly agreed as they walked into the pokemon center. Scarlett reserved herself a room, ate dinner with her pokemon, and then moved into her room with a flop, feeling ready to sleep. Nala crawled into the bed next to her, and Scarlett gave a light smile, closing her eyes and stroking the luxio's mane. "Night missy." Scarlett mumbled, though as she settled in to get some shut eye, Scarlett felt disturbed. Frowning, she opened her eyes again and found a gastly staring right back at her. "Oh ya've gotta be-- Nala!" Scarlett growled, and the luxio woke grumpily until she saw what Scarlett was yelling about. With a growl she bore her fangs and bit into the ball of gas. It flinched and fell to another bite, disappearing from view. It had picked the wrong trainer to try and haunt or prank, that was for sure.

After the gastly was taken care of, Scarlett was wide awake. With a sigh, she figured that if she was awake, she could get into some pajamas and brush her teeth. Afterwards she sat on the bed and began slowly working on her hair, starting with the tips and working her way up, humming a little tune as she did so. "...Master Devlin, I remember he used to...." Cypher began, but his voice fizzled out. Scarlett's expression softened. If anyone else had mentioned her father, she'd break their nose, but Cypher was an exception, as long as they were alone. "Aye.... Brushed my hair like this every night, he did." She agreed solemnly, though there was a sad smile on her face. "Now isn't the time far that though. Tomorrow we'll hopefully find somethin' that resonates with the spear key." Scarlett insisted. For now she was done with her bedtime routine, and she put the brush away, checking her communicator once more. She was rather annoyed that Zak hadn't texted her back yet, but she did say it herself; he was a busy man. That or he was just being an a**. Either was likely and possible. With a sigh, she lay down in her bed. The routine had calmed her back down, and instantly she was able to find herself falling into a restful sleep.

Scarlett woke slowly, sunlight filtering down through the window of her room. Though she was wide awake now and excited to go explore the ruins, she felt.... Heavy. It took a few minutes before she finally decided to sit up, leaning forward over her knees to stretch out her back and rest her head in her hands, delicately rubbing her temples and forehead with the tips of her fingers. Nala was up and alert, seeming to have been awake even before Scarlett. Noticing that the red haired female was up, Nala brushed her cheek up against Scarlett's arm affectionately. "You a mornin' pokemon er what Nala...?" Scarlett asked rhetorically with a bit of a grin, stroking the black fur at the top of her head. Though Scarlett soon let out a light sigh. She wasn't sure what was slowing her down exactly, but the weight on her chest was annoying. She slipped out of bed to get dressed and ready for the day, letting her pokemon have a nice big breakfast in preparation for the day's work. Afterwards, they set off towards the ruins. Scarlett was itching to test out her new toy, and breakfast had helped her mood, so she was more than ready to explore.

Noel took a deep breath of fresh air as he walked into Solaceon Town. It was far brighter and cheerier than Veilstone was, probably because it wasn’t blocked off by mountains. The sun was bright in the sky and something about the quaint and peaceful town made him feel relaxed. Sure, he wasn’t going to be lingering in town long, he needed to get to the ruins, but it was nice to know what he could come back to once his training was complete.
Algernon seemed to agree, wiggling in his arms in comfort as they walked, taking in the scenery. There was apparently a daycare and a place where they ran a newspaper, though Noel didn’t stop to find out much on that news. It was a tiny town, with little houses and just a homey feel.

Nothing like Black City. That place was bustling and alive and constantly on the move, with businesses and noise. It was no real wonder that his psychic abilities had ended up bothering him so bad; in a place like this with so few people, he probably would’ve been able to coop and learn to use them. But in a place where people were constantly blaring their grieving thoughts and annoyances? No change. Noel mulled over the thought… maybe he could remove his headset at some point just to test… just to see. It was a worrisome thought though…
