The Gardevoir listened as the conversation turned to needing her, and moved over to where she was between Zero and Isis. "I just need to say if I find the memory you're looking for, right?"
"Mhm. Just grab it and show Isis it."
"Alright then," the astral sprite slowly closed her eyes, and began to glow a faint pink. "So I'm looking fooooor... Okay, got it. The glow faded as Nova reopened her eyes, then looked to Isis. "Sorry, Isis, but it looks like you were wrong this time." The Gardevoir once again used her psychic powers to connect with Isis' memories, showing her Zero's memory of Isis leaving to go change, coming back in her normal clothes, and then helped jog her memory of actually changing so it wasn't so fuzzy anymore.

Oh who was she kidding, Isis was just upset she'd lost the bet and now had to face Machina. Zero couldn't help but blink at the speed of which Isis ran in and out of the room. Though, it took almost as long for her to start getting attacked by her conscious, moving back into the room to write an apology note. Closing the door behind him, Zero moved into the room with her, looking over her note as he sat his costume down next to the Zelda one. "Well... Even if it sounds crazy, it is what happened. Can't change that." He sighed.
As he tried to think of something else to say, he noticed a small little box on the side of the table, marked "ZERO STUFF". Admittedly kinda curious, he reached over for the box, but as he opened it, he was rather startled as a familiar voice from behind him.

✿ ❀ Isis didn't stop running until she was long out the door, even when Zero called after her. He was probably upset she didn't go through with their little wager but Isis just couldn't. She couldn't see Machina's upset face or have to explain the crazy halloween ball that had been the culprit for ruining her beautiful costume. She couldn't relive the trauma so soon, not when she had just finally been distracted enough to try and forget it. "No! No I won't wait!" Isis back at Zero defiantly. She had been nothing but snippy and horrible to him ever since they had gotten back from the ball, and a part of Isis felt bad about it, but she continued to lash out. "I don't care about your stupid bet, I'm not dealing with this right now!!" Isis insisted firmly, though her expression was anything but angry or upset, she was wide eyed with fear and panic. If she stayed here any longer she was going to explode, or worse, keep lashing out at Zero. He didn't deserve that, he didn't even know what was going on with her. "None of it matters! Not your bet, not my dress, nothing! I'm.... I'm going to fix it all...." She appreciated Zero's change into sympathy, perhaps she did seem desperate and broken right now, but she didn't want him worrying about her. She was sick of everyone seeing her cry, normally she was the type of person who couldn't stop smiling, the optimist who cheered everyone up, not the broken mess she was right now. She looked back up to Zero with sudden calmness and gave him an unsettlingly relaxed smile. "Go challenge Winona again, I know you'll do great." She insisted. Should he find out that she was heading to Azalea and planning to time travel with Hinata, he would more than likely try to talk her out of it as Atona had. Isis didn't want that, he would only make it harder and prolong the process. She was getting Ebony back, consequences be damned, this could still be fixed. Riley arrived in the city quivering with excitement. She had to force herself to stop by the pokemon center to prepare before just making a mad dash to the gym. "Let's see... She uses fighting type pokemon, so Zeke is a good bet..." She ended up just using three heart scales to power up Hubble somewhat. Then she was off, too full of energy to grab lunch first.
Riley practically burst into the gym, she was going to fast. She forced herself to slow to a sort of skip-step as she stepped forward. "Hi! I'm here to challenge the gym!" Fighting Luke's friends in Eterna City had pumped Riley up to have a challenging battle. I've got to get stronger, fast as possible.
