There were quite a few points of interest, the longer Lysander moved around the city, searching for an egg, the more he found himself intrigued by it. His encounter with Scarlett was both fresh in his mind, but also somehow fading. He was... relaxing over it, he supposed. It felt like things were easing in their... dynamic, or whatever it was. Maybe it could even settle down, or something. Assuming neither of them did anything stupid. Which, admittedly, was about a 50:50.
Besides that... He wasn't really sure what to expect on this "mission." Imperium's... range of employees was expansive, so he had no idea what to expect when it came to others that might be on this 'team'. Not to mention, not very many details had been released yet. He was sure information would start to come in-- through messages, through subtle subconscious telepathic information, so that he'd just become... aware of it over time. That was something that had taken him some time to get used to, and honestly, he still was. He hadn't been a part of Imperium that long-- about three years or so. And he'd had to climb his way up and prove himself since he first joined, too. With the increase in rank, came more experiences in their workings.
He blinked and glanced down when his communicator went off, just as his train of thought began to shift to something else that had been on his mind quite a bit.

Travelling through dark caves and along dark roads alone and in soaking wet clothing wasn’t an enjoyable situation for MD and if he had the choice, he’d have reversed time and made sure he hadn’t landed in that water. Or gotten grabbed in the first place. Or had some spare clothing to swap into. Some sort of preparation-esque action to prevent this misery.
But it was what it was. The sooner he got to a city, and in turn to a pokemon center, the sooner he could semi-fix the situation. And after what felt like hours (or were hours; he couldn’t tell at that point) he made it back to Veilstone. He didn’t hesitate to get to the center; first dropping off his team in the care of the first available nurse he could find. Once that was set he moved to the boarding area to clean up.
A two-hour (or once again, something that felt like two hours) shower later and a change of clothing, (or… kind of. More like some old clothing and the only shirt in his size he could find without the weirdest word garble possible printed on it) and MD had eliminated the chill factor. He was too tired to gussy up beyond changing his clothes; his hair was just crazy, he wasn’t concealing features (not that he was really doing that anyways) and he just didn’t care. He probably would later, but for now? MD was just more interested in heading for the cafeteria.
He. Was. Starving. And after everything that had occurred he felt that he deserved some level of nourishment; in the form of a hamburger. And fries. And a shake or two. Unfortunately, that didn’t seem to be on the menu in the cafeteria and he ended up settling for a couple of sloppy joes with cheese slapped on and a glass of water tea because he’d had enough water for the day. And it was probably a slightly healthier selection.
Satisfied with his quality selection of meal choice, MD nestled himself off in a corner and chowed down. It was nice to be warm and dry and with the diminishing pain in his belly, it was becoming easier to think. While he wouldn’t have considered that search a ‘success’ it was… something. He needed to get in contact with Addison and chew her out inquire a little bit about what they had discovered. And there was also figuring out what to do with that… pokemon or whatever as well as a few other minor issues that needed to be addressed.
MD couldn’t help but scoff. Sure was a lot of work he’d had thrust on him. Well, at least he couldn’t claim to be bored.

Zak looked thoughtfully up at the sky, tossing the ball in the air, catching it, spinning it on his finger. He sighed; he probably ought to stop dragging this out and wasting time. But, somehow, working towards badges felt like he was still doing something for Imperium. Now that that agent had mentioned it, and made it sound like it was just... staying on top of his training, preparing for this mission, it somehow sucked all the fun out of it. He scowled at the thought, bouncing the basketball off a nearby building. Dammit.... He'd rather just go play a game with his pokemon -- or, hell actual other players -- at this rate. That wasn't... really an option, though.
