Landing outside of the Pokecenter Simon looked around to see that he was in a town surrounded by trees and according to a sign nearby this was where the Pokemon Safari of Sinnoh called the Great Marsh. Deciding to stay in the city though he went into the Pokecenter to get himself something to drink, since he was so stressed out about that last battle, well actually it was against the Duskull that he worried about since it fainted Noivern but also he considered using that moveset when he caught another Duskull. At the vending machines he decided to get a cup of soup instead. Using the microwave he waited for it to heat up as another trainer came over, "Hey are you a trainer?" Simon looked up and saw a kid standing there, "Yeah, why?""I have a psychic team I'd like to test before taking on Crasher Wake. Could you help me?""Sure, let me eat my soup and I'll meet you outside." The kid smiled and thanked him heading outside.

Finishing up the warm soup Simon went outside nodded at the boy, Andrew, who was ready as well. Sending Patrat out Andrew looked at him. "I send the weaker one, no offense, out first to watch and gain experience." Andrew nodded liking that as Patrat looked a little annoyed but understood. The first Pokemon that Andrew sent out was "Beldum the iron ball Pokemon. Instead of blood, a powerful magnetic force courses throughout Beldum's body. This Pokemon communicates with others by sending controlled pulses of magnetism." Since Crasher Wake was water Simon was going to do the same sending out Greninja.

Since this was training for Andrew Simon returned Patrat and sent out Swablu to watch now. The flying Pokemon flew around Simon's head waiting to see how Greninja would battle. It might be best to have Swablu watch Noivern but Steel was strong against all of Noivern's attacks and it wouldn't be best to battle Andrew who wanted to test his team. Beldum's secondary form came out next, "Metang the iron claw Pokemon. When two Beldum fuse together, Metang is formed. The brains of the Beldum are joined by a magnetic nervous system. This Pokemon turns its arms to the rear for traveling at high speed."

Though steel was strong against ice it seemed that if Crasher Wake used strong water attacks Andrew would be out. Sending the final form out Andrew seemed to really want the battle to turn in his tide. "You might need to train them a bit more,"Simon said as Andrew nodded. A single hydro pump was enough to knock out seemingly all of his team. Next was "Metagross the iron leg Pokemon. Metagross has four brains in total. Combined, the four brains can breeze through difficult calculations faster than a supercomputer. This Pokemon can float in the air by tucking in its four legs."

Part of Andrew wanted to end the battle now, it was obvious that Greninja was too strong and Crasher Wake was probably just as strong. Simon wished it over as well but there were only two more Pokemon left, this one was "Bronzor the bronze Pokemon. Ancient people believed that the pattern on Bronzor's back contained a mysterious power." No more switching Pokemon Swablu and Patrat were going to be the ones that got the experience from this battle. Greninja fired off another blast of water which knocked Bronzor out of the air.

Watching as Andrew walked away Simon decided that he could try to use his trainee Pokemon at least in this area as it seemed that they were only around the late teens in levels or early twenties. Patrat only needed one more level to evolve so she would go out first. Just as he was thinking this another trainer called out to him. At first she started to say he had to battle her but he stopped her, he would after healing up his team. Coming out of the Pokecenter Simon agreed crossing the area where the battle would take place. Bird keeper Alice's first Pokemon out was Golbat, Patrat came out ready to battle it.

The next Pokemon was Farfetch'd however Patrat seemed to be faster as she darted forward and stared into the opponent's eyes, hypnotizing the bird causing it to fall asleep. "Unfair," called out Alice to which Simon shrugged. "It's one of her moves so I don't see how it's not fair." Frowning she stopped her foot but there was nothing for her to do about it but hope that her Pokemon woke up. Patrat didn't bother to put the bird back to sleep which might have been an issue, she won but Simon would return her for Swablu. Not because he didn't want to heal her up but to spread the experience around.

Her next Pokemon was, "Honchkrow the big boss Pokemon. If one utters a deep cry, many Murkrow gather quickly. For this, it is called "Summoner of Night"" However Simon smirked telling Swablu to use sing putting her latest bird to sleep. Alice said something that wasn't very lady-like but luckily for her Honchkrow woke up after one turn. A series of pursuit attacks and a wing attack were on her side however Swablu's song was still enough to knock it out.

If it was a double battle and both Pokemon knew round it would deal a lot more damage however Simon had never participated in that kind of battle. Both trainers returned their Pokemon but Simon sent out Patrat. Alice looked confused as Simon healed her and stepped back as she evolved. Alice gasped as Patrat evolved into "Watchog the lookout Pokemon. Using luminescent matter, it makes its eyes and body glow and stuns attacking opponents." Alice congratulated Watchog and Simon as they parted ways, Simon returned Watchog and went into the Pokecenter to heal up Swablu as well.

According to the Pokenav the Pokemon in the area that Simon would want were Shellos and Buizel. Running his fingers over Meowth and Sawblu's Pokeballs Simon decided to go ahead and head into the tall grass. It was a rare that he'd see the Pokemon he'd wanted at first but before anything came out Simon decided to send out Swablu in order to check his TMs or Moveset to see what moves would be good for Swablu. Taking out a big mushroom he held it out to Swablu, she ate it so that she could learn the move, Dragon Rush. It was a powerful dragon move she could use. She was a good Pokemon but Simon wasn't sure she was going to replace Noivern. Before he could think more on it a wild Budew attacked.

Healing up and returning Meowth Simon thought on things. There was only a slim chance he'd see the Pokemon he wanted to catch around here. Since the Pokemon in the Pokemon Mansion were the same level as Meowth and there were more Pokemon he wanted in the garden Simon decided to head back there. Walking out of the tall grass Simon went over to entrance to the Great Marsh just to check it out. There was a list of Pokemon you could find in the Marsh but none of them Simon wanted at the moment. Sending out Noivern Simon climbed on and off they went back to the Pokemon Mansion.
