Reaching back, she grabbed Fennekin and Jolteon's pokeballs, releasing both of them, and then Bagon, Munchlax, and Elle. "Alright, we're going to start doing some training here, but--" she started, but was cut off as Elle piped up telepathically. 'Munchlax doesn't want to battle~!' she remarked, happily bounding from one leg to the other, enjoying the grass and the freedom to roam a bit, 'Also, the Fennekin's name is apparently Fritz~!' Ajicka frowned. When did she acquire that information? And... why did she have a pokemon that didn't want to battle on her active team...
Technically, it wasn't hers, so she supposed she could actually take it out of her active team. 'It might be worth keeping him on,' Deoxys low voice murmured, and she could see Elle quietly nod. '.... Why?' she asked skeptically, after a moment. 'He has the ability Pickup,' came the calm, lucid explanation, 'Plus, he may be able to keep himself slightly more fed if he can find food himself...' Ajicka wavered, then sighed. "Fine," she muttered allowed, earning her a curious look from the Fennekin. Bagon was already prowling around, looking for an opponent. Munchlax was.... sleeping. Of course.

Shaking her head, Ajicka turned, nodding towards some rustling. "I want Jas to show some of y'all how we do this. I imagine you probably know how to battle, but I've been working with Jas for a while, and it doesn't hurt to show how well hard work pays off," she said, glancing back, namely at Fritz, "Jas will do a few battles, then-- well, Bagon clearly wants to go, so he can go next. Then we'll see what you all can do-- namely you, Fritz-- and see if you can handle these pokemon, or not. I have a feeling we'll probably need to move to a lower level area, but if we do, don't worry about it." The fennekin gave a slow, comprehending nod, and she turned towards the approaching pokemon.
It was a Geodude, which was actually a pretty good first pokemon for this example. She rubbed her chin thoughtfully, then gave an absent gesture. "Jas, why don't you use Inferno to weaken it," she suggested, "Then finish it off with a couple Rock Slides." Jas nodded, stepping forward, heat billowing off of him, and blue flames erupting from his mouth to sear his opponent and leave a burn. She glanced down at Fritz. It still felt a little... odd to have him on her team. it was such a fluke occurrence. But, he was; it was official. Which meant she might as well train him. "Jas is actually at a disadvantage," she remarked, jerking her head towards the battle field, "And yet..." She gestured, both turning to look as Geodude went down shortly thereafter.

Jas twisted his head and craned his neck around to look back at Ajicka, grumbling questioningly as another pokemon appeared. Ajicka gave him a permissive wave. "Go ahead, Jas, you might as well," she allowed. He brought his head back around, moving forward to quickly and easily bring the Houndour down. She watched with a raised eyebrow. Where had that one been when she'd been on the hunt for them... Shaking the thought off, she glanced down at Fritz, who was attentively watching the battle. She couldn't quite tell his reaction-- but he seemed to be paying close attention, which was good. A smirk suddenly crossed her face as a thought occurred to her, and she reached down, picking him up.
The pokemon blinked, but obediently scurried onto her shoulder as she offered it to him, nearly falling as he did. Luckily she was able to grab his scruff, letting him get his balance and dig his feet in to hold onto her shoulder, sort of draped over it with a curious expression. She wanted him to be on screen while she sent a message to a certain friend of hers.

With Fritz balancing on her shoulder and Jas still handling the battles (and Jolteon and the others watching), Ajicka pulled out her Holo Caster. Fritz was still observing Jas pulverize the oncoming opponents, his gaze intently focused, but occasionally, he glanced down, and did so as she seemed to start some kind of... recording?
"Hey Rose," she started, giving a laid back sort of smirking smile, Fritz blinking at the recording screen, "Guess what I found?" She gave a sort of side nod to the Fennekin, who blinked and looked questioningly at her. Ajicka didn't seem to notice. "And on top of that, I have all eight of my badges. I think I got a message from you a while ago-- glad to hear you made it.... Back, and all. Anyway, I don't remember everything that was on the recording, but I thought I would check in. It's been a while." She gave a shrug, then a sort of waving salute, and ended the recording, sending it to her friend. She quickly reached up as Fritz somehow lost his balance, grabbing onto him and pulling him forward so he didn't fall off.
"You really are kind of a klutz, aren't you..." she muttered.

Ajicka made an annoyed sound as the large pokemon fled, moving forward to heal Bagon up with a few potions and get him back into fighting shape. "You good to go again, Bagon?" she asked, and he gave a sharp nod, eyes flashing. She smirked, stepping back and looking up as another Geodude appeared. How... perfect. "Alright, Bagon, I think you know what to do," she remarked, turning away as he readied a Hydro Pump. "Hey Elle!" she called over to the Kirlia, who was still happily bounding about in the grass. Elle stopped, turning curiously, twisting back and forth a little to make her skirt elegantly float from side to side. "You want to battle?" Ajicka offered, nodding her head towards the grass the pokemon were emerging from, "I think you might be evolving soon."'Oh! Sure!' she agreed, starting back, and then giggling, 'And it looks like I'm not the only one!' Ajicka blinked, turning, her eyes widening as she saw Bagon glowing after his latest victory. She stared in surprise, and even Jolteon watched with mild interest as Bagon's form grew, disappearing under the light.
Finally, the display faded, and Bagon -- now Shelgon -- stood there, in his new form, just as sturdy looking as ever. "Well... congratulations, Shelgon," Ajicka remarked, smirking in amusement.

Urging Shelgon back, Ajicka let Elle dance forward as a Graveler came storming out, evidently seeking revenge for its fallen comrade. "Elle, go ahead and use Magical Leaf. That should probably take it out," she suggested, watching with a hand on her hip. She was, personally, mulling over Elle's current moveset. She was pretty sure she knew two psychic moves, a grass move, and a fairy move. She wasn't sure if she wanted to change that or not, but she was pretty sure she would at least look into substituting one of the psychic moves with something else. She needed to start actually considering how to balance her team out...
Her attention refocused as the opponent fell, and Elle squealed in joy as she lit up. 'I'm evolving! I'm evolving!' she cried out happily, 'YES!' Ajicka watched in amusement as the light around her pokemon grew, and for the second time within minutes, observed one of her pokemon evolving. They'd both earned it... and there was an odd, fitting irony for the two of them to evolve so close to one another. "Congratulations, Elle," she remarked, nodding to the pokemon as the light faded. Another happy cry, and Elle began gliding across the grass, humming a very pretty, happy song, clearly in complete bliss.

Smiling a bit, Ajicka watched her newly evolved pokemon celebrate her evolution, waiting for another wild pokemon to appear. Fritz watched Elle as well, then looked curiously up at his new trainer. All her pokemon were evolving already... She must have been working with them for a while. And then there was Jas... the fire fox's attention shifted over to the large dragon-fire pokemon, watching him as he curiously observed their elated teammate as well. He was... monstrous. He didn't seem mean, but there was a power radiating off him... Fritz wasn't sure whether to be wary or awed at it.
He looked back over as another rustling sound rustled from the grass, and a Staravia appeared, then looked expectantly up at Ajicka. "Why don't you go ahead and get this, Jolteon?" she offered, looking down at the electric pokemon, and gesturing towards the bird. Jolteon looked up, but quickly climbed to her feet, prowling towards it. "Jol! Jolteon!" she cried out, releasing electricity, and easily knocking it out. Ajicka smirked a little, and glanced down at her again. "These pokemon are probably almost too easy for you, aren't they?" she mused. Almost as powerful as Jas-- almost.

Still smiling Ajicka looked up as a Houndour came bounding out, growling and snapping his teeth. She glanced at Jolteon, then jerked her head indicatively. Jolteon leaped up, arching through the air, and came down, paws rapidly tearing through the ground to dig her way down and disappear beneath the earth. The houndour blinked, quirking his head to the side and giving a concerned, questioning sound. Ajicka folded her arms over her chest, and a second later, Jolteon exploded through the ground below the pokemon, knocking it aside. The houndour stumbled dizzy, collapsed, and then, shaking his head to get his senses, fled. Ajicka smirked a bit in amusement, then looked back at Jolteon, nodding.
"Thanks, girl," she praised, and Jolteon gave a collected nod of her own, padding away from the grass. Ajicka shifted, looking down at the fennekin by her side, who was gazing after the fleeing fire-dark pokemon. "What do you think? You ready to give it a try?" she asked.

Fritz looked up, his eyes a bit wide at the suggestion. He looked over at Jas, the only pokemon paying attention to them at the moment, and the Charizard gave a friendly grin and encouraging grumble. The fennekin shifted nervously, looking at Ajicka again, who had pulled out her pokedex as another pokemon appeared. "Don't worry, this one is weak to fire, and--" She paused a moment, staring at the device, then lifting her head. "Use Heat Wave, Fritz," she instructed.
It was a little odd to hear his name, but after a moment, he moved forward. The opponent lashed out, slashing him hard. He yelped, summersaulting back and landing, sitting, his head spinning. Ajicka's eyes narrowed, and she watched as the fire pokemon stumbled to his feet, but bounded forward, and used the attack. "Good job, Fritz, Jas can take over," she spoke up, the Charizard stepping forward to take the next attack, not even phased by it, and moving to flick the bug pokemon with one electrified claw, sending it flying back into the grass.

Fritz plopped down, sighing. He blinked, looking up as Ajicka knelt beside him with some potions. "You haven't really battled a lot, have you?" she remarked, applying the potions to help bring him back to full health, "Did you even train much with your previous trainer?" Fritz bowed his head a little, but then shook it. She nodded. "Didn't think so. Well, assuming you weren't too scarred by that experience, you'll be able to do more." She finished with the potion, then stood up as another Kricketune showed up. She gazed at it a moment, hands on her hips, then looked down to Fritz, gesturing. "Want to give it another go?" she asked. He looked hesitant, but then nodded, creeping out. He blinked as the pokemon simply gave a little wail, and quickly leaped into action with his Over Heat attack, finishing it off after yet another less than impressive attack from the pokemon.

Ajicka clapped her hands together. "Alright! I think that's probably good for now. We can head to a nearby city to rest up and get some food, and look into gyms and training," she announced, placing her hands on her hips, "Obviously, we're restarting a bit here, but I've already defeated the first gym here, so it shouldn't be too hard to at least get to the third, fourth... maybe fifth, depending on Jas and Jolteon." She pulled off two pokeballs. "We'll figure it out, but in the meantime, I'm returning you all, alright?" The pokemon nodded, and she recalled each of them, tossing out a pokeball to release Fearow.
Fritz was definitely her lowest level pokemon right now, she knew that much. She considered what to do as she moved to climb on Fearow, but lifted her head, turning and listening with a frown to something... loud coming from the trees. She turned, and then immediately ducked as something came flying out at her. It just barely grazed her head, hitting Fearow and nearly knocking him down, which earned a sharp, furious peck in retaliation. "Chim!" The flying object-- Ajicka now assumed it was a pokemon --cried out in surprise, and she was able to step away, turn, and spot the little monkey pokemon now fleeing from Fearow, who was angrily following it. She rolled her eyes, rubbing a hand over her face. Oh crimeny....
"Chim! Chim! Chimchar!" Her head jerked back up as the cries got louder, and she quickly started stepping up as she saw it coming towards her. She turned and bolted, looking over her should to see it was following her. She grimaced, grabbing for a pokeball. Seriously, what the hell!?! Why was this thing even here in the first place!?! She spun around, releasing Munchlax-- and watching him drop onto the Chimchar, forcing it to a stop as it lay, slightly squished, underneath him, blinking several times.
Ajicka sighed, and Fearow walked over, glaring down at the pokemon. It reached over-- and gave one last solid peck on its head, the pokemon knocking out instantly. Ajicka sighed again, rubbing her temple, her eyes closed. "Great..."

Unfortunately Ajicka was very much torn between leaving the pokemon here or taking it to the pokecenter. She was flying, though -- she'd gotten used to it -- so transporting it would be a bit difficult. It wasn't exactly small, either... Not a munchlax, but not a little cottonee or something. She sighed, pulling out a pokeball. She'd catch it for now. She really didn't get what was up with all these fire starter pokemon showing up all over the place. At least Fritz had a reason-- he'd been abandoned. A frown crossed her face as the memory surfaced, and she looked down at the pokemon. Is that what had happened here...? She shook her head, then tossed the pokeball, absorbing it from under munchlax, who was still fairly oblivious, it seemed. She rolled her eyes a little, and returned him, too.
She looked at his pokeball, then down to Chimchar's as it dinged, the pokemon successfully caught. She shook her head a bit and moved forward, picking up the pokeball. She'd heal him with her other pokemon, then... figure out what to do.
