Leona knew that it was unlikely Rowan would have her information, but the way he insisted that she had no records with such finality admittedly rubbed her the wrong way. Isolde just explained that she had records, he just didn't have them. She didn't understand the fact that in this day and age, technology allowed records to be accessed from anywhere via a computer. He just didn't have the scrolls or the knowledge of her battalion it seemed. “Nay, I think not. I already train my pokemon, and do not require any registrar to do so." Leona insisted, a little confused as to why anyone would register to do such a thing. Nick let out a soft sigh, but a friendly smile was still on his face. "Itz a different kind of registry. It enables you to participate in the league challenge. Not for ability to train." He explained to Leona.
He also had a feeling she didn't have any place to stay of her own. Or likely didn't remember. "Registering alzo allows you free room and board at Pokemon Centers." he added, quite obviously in a recommending tone. Leona didn't really know what Nick meant by league challenge, and while a challenge in general sounded interesting, she didn't want to accept without knowing what it was. In all honesty, it was the free boarding that really interested her. She would need to have that, given her current situation. At least, that's what she thought. After glancing up at Isolde for confirmation, Leona looked back to Rowan. “Very well. What wilt thee hast me do for registry?” Leona asked.

Rowan 'harumphed' as Leona seemed to misunderstand what registering as a trainer meant. Thankfully, Mr. Weiss was able to clear that up for her, and she finally agreed. "I've already got your name in. I'll just have to set you up with a pokedex and put the serial number to your name." he grumbled, already moving to get a pokedex ready for her. Suddenly, there was a crash and the patter of little webbed feet on tile as a Piplup came running in. She looked around, chirping excitedly before running right over to Leona, feathers fluffing out. Rowan's gaze narrowed on the loose starter, before turning to face the apologetic assistant who had apparently failed to contain the Piplup. The bird seemed blindly trusting of everyone present, letting out happy peeps of greetings. "How unprofessional. Take care of the mess." Rowan grunted to the assistant, who then slipped away to do as he was told. At least the piplup was friendly. He'd hate to have had it been a rambunctious pokemon that got loose, causing harm to anyone.
Mr. Weiss suggested that this registry should be as if Leona was a new trainer, asking about possibly sharing supplies. "Very well. Miss Cardonell, it is customary for me to offer a choice of starter pokemon to newly registered trainers, as well as a few supplies to help begin your journey. I suggest that piplup for you. However, if you would prefer, the other choices are the grass type, turtwig, and the fire type, chimchar." he said gruffly. Indeed, the piplup did seem like she was already making herself at home, sitting on one of Leona's feet with her eyes closed in content.

Leona had absolutely no idea what Rowan was talking about. Pokedex? Serial Number? All of these people spoke funny and used terms that made no sense, but that could very well have just been because everything was confusing to her right now. Everything except for Isolde. She felt the most familiar, in manner of speech, in the words she used, she was the only one that made sense in this situation. Then, to make matters even more confusing, there was a loud crash in the back and already Leona and Isolde were on guard. Leona jumped to her feet and Isolde's aura flared, ready for a fight..... Then a little penguin pokemon, oblivious of the situation and tension, came running over, chirping happily. Isolde sensed no malintent from the creature, in fact it seemed quite young and friendly, chirping happily and flapping her flippers at Leona in greeting. Could this really be the cause of all that ruckus?
Leona relaxed and sat back down. At least this time she'd been able to stand on her own, perhaps the shock of a potential battle had been able to allow her muscles grow rigid enough to force herself to stay standing. She had the feeling she'd been in a lot of life or death situations that pushed her body like that.... Since the piplup appeared to be harmless, she was allowed to remain in the area and do as she pleased while Nick suggested that the professor get Leona some supplies for the road. At the mention of supplies though, Leona looked through the leather bags at her hip. They did not contain much, mostly specially crafted pokemon capsules for her team, rope, an empty water skin, as well as a worn, leather bound journal. “Gramercy. I would lief take supplies, I am in dire need of them, but... The same could not be said of a pokemon." Leona suggested. Judging by the number of capsules, she assumed she had plenty. "My lady also prefers pokemon bound in steel, as they are more familiar." Isolde explained further. Leona hadn't thought of that herself, but it sounded correct, somehow. Still, the professor had suggested she take the piplup that was now resting on her foot. It was certainly a curious little ball of fluff. "Ah, zhen piplup would be wunderbar. It evolves into steel type." He explained with a smile, piquing Leona's interest.
She glanced down at the piplup again, scooping the bird up in her hands. “Mayhap.... I could keep thine piplup.” Leona suggested quietly. The little bird had taken such a liking to her after all, she didn't want to turn it away. She was pretty cute too. "Little Guinevere..." Leona's eyes said it all, she was smitten with the snoozing piplup. Isolde's golden eyes narrowed somewhat in jealousy, one of her ears twitching, but she remained silent, glancing off to the side. When Leona was given her supplies however, she wasn't expecting such strange gadgets. She was expecting food, water, flint. She had no idea what to do with this large red object or these vials of purple liquid. Was this some sort of drink? The only thing that was somewhat recognizable were the pokeballs. Certainly, they were far more high tech than she was used to, but their use was still fairly obvious. It was fascinating, really. She took them, not to be ungrateful, and put them away inside of her bag, thanked the professor for his help, and left the building shortly after.

"Princess..." A voice called across the winds, though they fell upon the ears of a sound asleep woman, resting behind a tall, brown-skinned woman. The woman of which, the owner of the voice, turning back to look at her sleeping companion. A longtime friend of hers. She spoke the term 'princess' more as a jest, as she'd hadn't called the woman spooning behind her 'princess' in meaning for several years now. "Prrrincess." The woman spoke once more ,this time moving her torso in half turns in attempts to wake her up. It worked. Startled from her sleep, Temperance tightened her grip on the woman's waste. "Wha-what?!" She looked around, finding they were still very much airborne, and safely floating in the sky, not to far from the buildings below. It then hit her, what her flying companion had done. With a tart look, the blonde pulled away some, keeping her hands on the woman's waste. "Umbra! What is the meaning of this?" She demanded. "Do not startle me while we are up in the sky! What if I was to fall off!?" The woman looked back with a grin on her lips. Her black-lined eye, looked almost cat-like, and filled with mischievous thoughts. "I would return to Amarantha with sorrow in my heart." She replied, turning away and holding a hand up into the air, she continued. "I am sorry, mi'lady, your niece slipped from the back of the royal fowl, and tumbled to the ground below. Oh, forgive me, for I had not meant to startle her from her nap." The theatrical performance was poorly acted on purpose, and Temperance was not amused. "Har, har. I am sure the Florges Grand Theater would die to have you in their next play." Temperance replied. "Whatever the case, Where are we?" Looking around, she noted they were indeed in some sort of village. Small, and parted in fields, which grew things Temperance could only guess what they were. These were indeed foreign lands. "I think we're over the town of Twin Leaf." Umbra replied. "And there is your stop." The woman motioned forward, a large building resting not to far away. Umbra grained the reigns of the Pidgeot the were saddled to, and directed it down for a landing.
Once the dust settled from their landing, Umbra slid off, turning to face Temperance ,who was already making her way off the bird as well. The blonde turned dusting off her coat, a rather stern look upon her face. "Well." She took in a deep breath, looking up to Umbra. "How do I look?" Umbra folded her arms, the clanking of the golden bracelets on her wrist sounding. She looked over Temperance with a grin across her gold-painted lips. "Like a pilot." She chuckled. "Aren't you meant to look like a knight in training?" Umbra shook her head. "Well, you certainly don't look like Royalty." "Well, good, I should-" "But." Umbra interupted, stepping closer. Temperance frowned. "You also don't sound like a commoner, if you get my drift. You have to talk more like the cityfolk, remember?" She was right after all, Temperance couldn't deny that. "Yes, you are-... Yer, right." It wasn't that she didn't like the way the citizen's spoke, it was just... she was raised to speak proper, it was going to be hard to learn to speak simplistically.
"Good. Now. If you need me for anything, you know how to contact me. But for the time being, keep yourself as plain and normal as possible." Temperance nodded some. She wasn't to be known, she was meant to blend in with the rest of the common folk. If her true identity were to be known, her journey would end instantly. Being here was putting her Kingdom at risk, but not being here was also putting her Kingdom at risk. Amarantha depended upon her. "Alright. Oh, and I also have a gift for you. A... 'I hope you don't fail' gift." Umbra revealed a small black box, lined with gold, the symbol of Amarantha on it's lid. Temperance went to reach for it, but then Umbra held it back. "-But! You can't open it until you obtain your first badge. Got it?" Temperance arched a brow, as if to ask if Umbra was serious. She could never tell with Umbra; who often sported a cunning, mysterious; in not a bit cocky, grin. "I promise to not open the box of mystery until I obtain my first badge." Temperance replied. Umbra nodded, handing over the box.
After another twenty or so quick refreshers of 'common folk' etiquette, Umbra finally brought herself back to the saddle of the Pidgeot, pulling it's reins towards the west. "Good luck..., Friend." Temperance offered a nod, then after watching Umbra part, she looked to the lab, taking in a deep breath. 'It is time.' Pursing her lips for a moment, the blonde then pushed her way into the lab. Rowan was called ahead, told of the arrival of a young woman, fitting Temperances' description, named not Temperance however, but Tamara. Tamara Stonewall. "Hello? Professor? My name is Tamara, I'm here to pick up my starting Pokemon?" At first all she saw was bustling lab, but none fitting the professor's image. Perhaps she'd just wait. He was told of her arrival after all. Though, Temperance wasn't conceded enough to think he'd of waited for her, he was likely busy.
Rowan glanced up as Tamera entered and announced her name and purpose. "Ah yes, Miss Tamara. I've been expecting you." He grunted, getting up to go retrieve her pokemon and supplies. Here was one intrusion that he was at least prepared for. "You wished to have a piplup, yes?" Rowan confirmed, handing her the pokeball for the water type starter. "I've also taken the liberty of gathering some supplies for your journey." He insisted, handing her a pokedex, pokeballs, and potions. "Thank you for notifying me ahead of time. It makes these sorts of things far more efficient." He suggested gruffly. Though because of her early notification, he assumed that she had all she needed now and could leave him back to his research, so he did just that.

Temperance's gaze fell upon an older gentleman that appeared before her. He spoke of their arrangement, bringing her all the things a trainer would need in these times. A seemingly endless supply of basic potions and pokeballs, of which would be useful in these first few days. Temperance bowed her head several times during this exchange. She found the action... somewhat odd, but she was reminded each time he spoke, that she was not viewed as a Princess in his eyes, but as a normal everyday trainer coming to begin their journey. In this instance, Professor Rowan was entitled to honorifics. "I thank you, Professor." Temperance spoke, placing all the things she'd obtained into her back, which strapped across her chest. One would call it a duffle bag. From there she accepted the ball with her Piplup. "Of course, Professor. I should only know how busy the life of one such as you is." She gave a soft smile before realizing the manner of her speech. "Er, what I mean to say is... I... I should go." Turning away, the princess quickly moved away, unaware that the professor had already went back to his work. Ever the busy man.
Temperance in the meantime, made an embarrassing retreat out of the lab and back to Twinleaf.

Paola happily hopped off of the back of her mother’s Sawsbuck on the outskirts around professor Rowan’s lab. She gave both her parents a cheery wave before she walked down a well beaten path towards the brightly lit building. “I’ll see you two soon to go to the hidden island after this,” she called over her shoulder and happily walked over to the door. The plan was to head off to one of these mirage islands they had heard about on their travels through out the lands to see if the rumors were indeed true. Who knew what kind of Pokemon might be in a place like that? Just think about all of the photos she might snag. But her eagerness to get the perfect shot had Paola venturing out a bit too far without a Pokemon in her parents' book, so to a professor their daughter went. Her parents hadn’t been able to get a starter when heading out for the first time, so they were eager to let their kid get started in the right direction.
After knocking, Paola stepped inside the building. “Excuse me, Is the professor in?” she inquired with one of the assistants because she didn’t want to interrupt said professor if he was in the middle of something else. "I know I didn't have an appointment, but I hope that's all right. If not, I can come back at a better time." Paola might have been eager, but she wasn't going to forget her manners. Professors were always doing important research needed in the Pokemon field, so there was no reason to pester them in Paola's book.
She hoped that there was the biggest Turtwig ever for her to take along with her. With a love for tree houses, the idea of a mobile one via a Torterra was right up her ally. Never you mind how she was going to feed it or if it liked to stomp all over her feet; Paola was bound and determined to have one. She just hoped she could become good friends with her new Pokemon quickly.

Hello! Your profile looks fine but please remember to keep the basic information in your posts, such as party pokemon, items, item posts, wild pokemon posts, NPC trainer posts, etc. Even if you don't have anything to put there, or even if you don't want to start adding to these counters just yet, it's good to have a space reserved in your post layout for all of these things so that the mods know you're aware of the fact that you need to be keeping track of all this in your posts. If you don't feel comfortable with post layouts, take a look around the guild and see if anyone has a layout for items and pokemon that you'd like and ask if you can use it~
The assistant that Paola approached glanced over her with a friendly smile. "Don't worry, we get drop-ins all the time. Professor Rowan should be in his office, I'll go see if he's available." The aide promised, moving back through the lab and ducking into one of the rooms after giving a light know, signaling his entrance. "Come in." Rowan grunted, not bothering to look up from his desk. "There's a young woman here to see you professor, is this a good time?" With this information Rowan finally paused and hesitantly set down his pen. "Ah, well, I suppose this is as good of a time as any." He suggested ambiguously, standing and making his way out into the lobby. It was easy to spot the girl, she stuck out like a sore thumb amidst the sea of scientists and aides in lab coats as a bright eyed and bushy tailed youth yearning for adventure. "So, I hear you wanted to see me young lady? I presume you're here to collect your starter and get going on your journey." These trainers all had the same look about them; a gleam in their eye or a look of horror. This girl appeared to have the former. "Tell me then, which starter were you thinking of?" She seemed like an intelligent young woman who knew what she wanted, which was better than most of the trainers coming in without a clue.
"Come along Esben dear. The lab is just right here," the elderly woman ushered, cane tapping lightly against the ground as she came to a pause and waited for her self-appointed ward. A young man in his twenties simply rolled his eyes before rolling up to stand next to the woman, pure agitation written over what appeared to already be a naturally gloomy disposition. He didn’t want to be here evidently and his gaze just narrowed behind him. "You heard her pipsqueak, hurry up!"
Esben scowled, which might’ve been more menacing if he wasn’t so baby-faced. Duncan was lucky Ms. Elizabeth was there or he would’ve given him a taste of steel like a proper warrior would’ve. Or tried. Even if he considered him a wuss, Duncan was taller, older and … probably just a bit stronger. But only for now.
He didn’t even want to be here; he was more than ready to set off into the world and find his way home. Elizabeth had convinced him otherwise though; that he ought to talk to a ‘professor’ (which he’d come to kind of assume was a leader sort?) and that maybe they’d have a way to help get him home. Esben knew how to get back though; he just needed to find a Dialga and smack it until it sent him there! That’s how he’d gotten here! He’d told the elderly woman just that in fact though he felt she didn’t believe him. There was something off about him though, that was for sure and after much talking he’d agreed that he’d go along with her suggestions of ‘getting help’. Not that anyone had… been helpful.
His stubbornness probably hadn’t helped. "I’m comin’!" Elizabeth had the patience of a saint (given her own grandson, who was even surprised) and gave him a pat on the head before continuing along the path to the lab, Duncan rolling his eyes and giving an exasperated sigh. Well Esben didn’t want him here either but he kept his mouth shut for the time being, instead checking to make sure that Byr and Isi stuck close. The bears were trotting steady behind him, keeping pace (which wasn’t difficult) like the good companions they were. He was honestly grateful that they were with him; he still wasn’t entirely use to this world or time or … whatever it was. Culture? Something. It was confusing, and having some semblance of comfort helped. Not that he was scared or anything. It was just weird.
"Do you really think he can help?" He chimed up as they approached a building, eyeing it with a bit of a leery look. He didn’t get these buildings either; they were massive and from some of the ones he’d seen, full of weird contraptions that he couldn’t understand. Making fire or heat… and weird noises. Nothing like the homes his family built, of solid stone and wood, material he could recognize right away. He was certain there were ghosts living in the strange metal things in Elizabeth’s house and he might’ve… gone and damaged a few in response. One being a shining screen that Duncan had clearly valued immensely. Maybe it shouldn’t have been making so many odd noises then.
Elizabeth smiled, waiting for her grandson to get the door for them as she glanced down at the young boy. ”Possibly dear. The professors are very smart individuals. If anything, they can get you set up to go on a journey to find what you need.” Esben scoffed, puffing his chest out. "I don’t need help! I’ve got everythin’ I need already!" Which, in his mind, was true. He had Byr and Isi, his axe and his sister's axe wielding lessons, his cousin's scavenging technique, his mama’s courage, his papa’s strength and the whole backing of dragon slaying knowledge that a young nine-year old child could have. Basically; he was set and ready to survive any and everything! At least he thought so. He hoped so because if it wasn't enough he wouldn't be getting home... a thought that he had to push from his mind for the millionth time since first waking up after that vicious battle.
The elderly woman just chuckled as they stepped inside. ”Well, even warriors need help from time to time don’t they? Come along, I’m sure the professor is waiting.” She commented, ignoring another annoyed grunt from Duncan as they entered. Esben grumbled a bit but fell in step with the woman, growing a bit unnerved as they entered the building full of whirling machines and oddities he didn’t know. Byr and Isi clung to the sides of his pants as well, the Teddiursa keeping a resolute expression, ready to take on anyone or anything that threatened them. Isi was more subdued, on the lookout but not nearly as ready for confrontation as his other companion. Esben kept a hand on each of their heads, both to comfort them and himself. They were out of their element in so many ways; it was hard not to notice.
”Excuse me young lady,” Elizabeth inquired as she caught the attention of one of the lab assistants, ”is Professor Rowan available? I’ve got myself a young one who could use a little assistance getting ready for a pokemon journey.”

The lab assistant turned around, surprise registering as she saw a family of three behind her, usually they only got a single trainer. She still managed to smile, however, and to the grandmotherly-type who had addressed her first, she nodded, after adjusting her glasses. "Yes, this way," she gestured for the trio to follow after before leading them over to the professor. He caught the aide's eye, and after leaving the other trainer in the hands of another aide, to help assist whenever she figured out which starter she wanted, he strode over. "Good day to you," he greeted them gruffly, eyes roaming over all three before landing on the young boy; they were most likely here for him. "Are you here to register to become a trainer? I'll just need your name and preference of starter."
”Thank you kindly, dearie.” Elizabeth gave the assistant a kindly smile before gently tapping the end of her cane against the floor before giving Esben a little look and ushering him to follow before doing the same. Duncan gave a roll of his eyes as his gaze drifted around to observe the lab, interest in the whole thing waning as he seemed to stay in place. ”You heard her shorty. Get moving.”
Esben just huffed, shuffling in place before finally following Elizabeth and the aid until they were approached by another individual; a gruff looking man that had Esben’s eyes going wide. Now this looked and sounded like someone who could lead a clan; he had all those features of someone with wisdom and knowledge from years of experience. And impressive facial hair.
”Yes Professor Rowan, Esben here is interested in registering,” Elizabeth spoke on his behalf, Esben just staring up at the man with a look of honored bewilderment, the two bear cubs still clutching tightly to the sides of his pants as they did the same. The elderly woman smiled, gently patting the boy on the head which seemed to break him from his little trance.
"I’m… I’m lookin’ for a turtle!" The boy announced, chest puffing out a bit as he put on a brave face. If he was going to get himself a pokemon from this man it was clear he’d have to prove his metal. He was more than ready for a challenge of combat if it was required, though it was fairly evident that he would lose. Still though, he needed to look intimidating, right? For all the good it did a nine-year-old. "I’ll fight it if you want! I can prove myself!" Because that's how you proved yourself to a pokemon, from his knowledge. Was that something he'd have to do? He was ready, he could totally handle it.
Elizabeth chuckled, removing her hand and eyeing Rowan with a bit of a questioning look. "He's taken quite an interest in getting a Turtwig, should you happen to have any available for a little warrior to ally with." She clarified with a gentle smile, a sort of look indicating that it might be best not to ask too many questions about the young man and his clearly odd mannerisms.

A... turtle? Hm. Even without his grandmother's(?) clarification, Rowan still had a good idea to which pokemon the boy was alluding to. Still though, he appreciated it, as he was a man who didn't enjoy the guess-work; a clear and concise answer, that was what he preferred. As to this whole 'fighting' business. "...If you want to brawl with your own pokemon, do it on your own time, young man. Just make sure it isn't anywhere near my lab," he responded, and that was that. While he certainly wasn't condoning the act of going against a pokemon (he had some sense, unlike some shack-dwelling professors) he wouldn't put his foot down to stop the tyke from doing as he pleased. He wasn't his parent. "Just do your best not to underestimate it, because of its small size; a good majority of the smaller pokemon still hold more power than a grown man." And with that sage wisdom Professor Rowan was off, leaving the group to retrieve a Turtwig and other supplies.
Upon his return the gentleman handed Esben his pokeball, but to his grandmother he handed his more practical supplies: a few pokeballs, potions, and, of course, his pokedex. The latter had already been started and registered in the boy's name-- he'd caught it earlier, Esben. A curious name. "That should be everything," the professor noted, naturally stoic expression sweeping over the boy, his grandmother, and his brother. "If there is anything else you need, please notify one of my aides, or myself. If not, good luck on your journey, young man." He paused and took on a thoughtful expression, the knitting of his thick eyebrows reflecting this, before he eventually turned to address Esben once more. "Try your best not to fight every pokemon you come across, I'm sure your grandmother has enough to worry about without adding 'potential maiming' to that list." That was that then, the last of his two cents; he was sure he'd hear about young Esben in the news, 'boy foolishly tries to take on Shinx', if he didn't heed his words.

Paola was pleased she hadn’t interrupted the professor’s work and her eagerness continued to grow. Oh man; Turtwig tree house pals here we come! “Oh yes please sir. I’m eager to meet my new friend,” she chirped back to him with a bright smile on her face. “If you could, may I have a Turtwig please? The bigger the better.” She knew her parents would love the pokemon as well when her new friend fully evolved. Paola was hoping that she wouldn’t be told no or that she was being too fussy about her free gift. She also wanted to go check out this mystic island with her family and perhaps even get another friend while there.
She perked up when a new trainer walked in and didn’t mind being passed off to the aid for the rest of this. It couldn’t be all that much to do and this new young trainer seemed like he was quite the handful indeed. But this Esbren did have some good taste in pokemon with wanting a Turtwig. “I don’t mind the temperament all that much either.” Paola was willing to take a chance on even the moodiest of Turtwigs if it would also earn some loyalty points with said pokemon. She wondered if she'd be allowed one with Esbren taking one already. It was known these starters could be notoriously hard to find at times so she didn't know if she'd still be able to get one anytime soon.

Esben’s cheeks went red at the response from Rowan concerning brawling pokemon. He didn’t want to brawl them! He wanted to prove his worth! This man clearly couldn’t be that senile, though the attitude suggested that Esben would be facing a much greater challenge at the hands of the professor if he didn’t heed the warning.
"I’m not afraid! I’ve fought dragons and stuff! Nothin’ scares me!" He touted rather loudly, chest puffing out in response. Elizabeth chuckled and gave the professor an apologetic look as he left to retrieve the items. ”Now Esben, be nice. You might need the good professor’s help some day.” Esben just huffed again. He didn’t need any help! He could take the world on his own! He was maintaining this attitude up until the professor returned and handed him a strange sphere, staring at it in confusion while Elizabeth collected the other items from the professor.
”Thank you professor Rowan, it’s much appreciated.” The elderly woman thanked, turning to start heading for the front door. ”Come along Esben.” The young boy though hesitated, still staring at the ball in confusion as well as bristling a bit at the older man’s words. He wasn’t going to fight all the pokemon, just some of them. If he had too. Like dragons; they needed to be fought. Still though, that wasn’t what his problem was. Immediately Esben darted forth and snatched onto the end of Rowan’s coat with one hand, holding up the ball with the other with a miffed look on his face.
"This isn’ a pokemon! I wanted a turtle not a ball!" He announced, a look that clearly indicated he was not falling for whatever game this man was trying to play. This was a ball (that he had absolutely no experience with) not a turtle! What gave? Before it could probably escalate, Duncan appeared and swept the boy up under his arm, which quickly turned into a battle. ”Sorry, he’s dumb. Dropped a lot as a baby, come on Esben.” Duncan quickly spoke to the professor, giving a little salute with his hand before carting a very angry boy out the doors of the lab right after Elizabeth, giving only a weary glance at the other trainer that was there as well. Boy, what an awkward start.

Rowan nodded as Paola seemed to know just the starter she wanted, asking for a turtwig, preferably one on the larger size. "I see." He looked thoughtful, vaguely recalling a turtwig that matched that description. However, he soon had to turn his attention to a small group that entered the lab, and turned to the aide that had called him in to meet Paola. "Would you mind finding this young lady a turtwig? If I recall correctly there was a particularly large, strong, and healthy one that we caught a few weeks ago. I can't remember if we still have it in our possession, but if we do, I'd like you to find it for her and provide some supplies for her journey while I go greet our new guests." Rowan instructed, giving a curt bow to Paola in apology for leaving her so soon, but he was a very busy man, and there was only one of him.
The aide on the other hand smiled at Paola politely. "So we meet again. Follow me, I think I can find that turtwig for you." He moved to a nearby computer to look up some data sheets on the sizes of turtwigs in their possession, nodding as Paola insisted that the temperament didn't matter to her. "Most turtwigs are pretty mild tempered, but it's good to keep an open mind. I can't vouch for what this one will be like." He explained, finding a turtwig that resembled the one Professor Rowan had described. With a few more button punches, the pokeball correlating to the turtwig on the screen synthesized in a machine nearby, and the aide took it to Paola. "Here you are! Why don't you get acquainted with your new partner while I grab you some supplies?" He suggested, moving to a room in the back to grab some potions, pokeballs, and a pokedex for her before he returned and handed them off.
