Niamh definitely seemed to have enjoyed his company while she was here, Du watched as Niamh trotted over towards him with a rather pleased look on her face and clearly had something in her mind that she was proud of. Du couldn’t help but wonder what was going through her mind, but kept his musings to himself for the time being. Du suddenly found himself pulled into a friendly hug and gave a bit of a surprised squeak. The male in him felt a little off about it, but he did enjoy it none the less, Feya would have hugged him, so why not let the Professor do the same. He couldn’t help but chuckle at the Professors comments, he had no idea if he would become famous or not as the Professor seemed to think that he would be achieving, but it felt good to have so many people believe in him and his abilities as a Coordinator. ”Je devrais y aller , au revoir professeur Sycamore. If I do get famous as you think I shall, I will return to sign autographs or something.” He replied, teasing a bit at the last bit, he wasn’t sure if things would go that smoothly for him or not, but with so many people seeming to root for him that he desperately wanted to make them proud, he wanted to prove to them that he was capable of doing it as well. He made no illusion that he would go into the contests and do this perfectly but he could at least work on it until he achieved what he wanted and other were hoping for him. He departed then, raising his hand to wave good bye to the professor as he started his journey in earnest this day. He wasn’t chasing his brothers dream anymore and he wasn’t doing this because he was expected to, but rather because he wanted to.

The lass tapped her chin with an index finger, unfocused eyes rose up with the light of an excited child. Which friend would make a good addition to her band of misfits? This was the start of her own story. Which of the three starting Pokemon would she choose? Before, she had thought about going to catch her own, as her brother had, however, she never wanted to be compared to him. Wren aspired to be different from her brother and give herself a chance of stepping out of his shadow that loomed over her since she had attended school with him. Analyzing the different types of Pokemon she currently had, the plum girl had made her decision. Her attention returned to Professor Sycamore, who had been more than happy at her arrival. Something she hadn't experienced since her brother's departure. "If you don't mind, I would love to have Froakie join me on my adventures," Wren spoke with a polite tone.
The water type would fit perfectly in with her friends from the daycare back home. Most loved the opportunity for a new friend, but there remained one she was terribly unsure of. Her brother's first partner, the Garchomp she had inherited from him. Since she had received his Pokeball, she hadn't dared release him and meet a gaze that would be full of hate and disappointment. She remembered when Jacob had first brought him home as a small Gible. Jacob gave Gible and his sister plenty of time to play together, but that doesn't change anything. Coming to terms with Garchomp would take time, which would take courage, and right now, that wasn't in major supply of.

"I just love Pokemon!" Kaito yelped at his mother, whom was trying to talk him out of leaving home and becoming a Pokemon trainer. She was just being a mom though, not wanting her boy to leave home, totally understandable. His mother sighed, before leaning in for a big hug. Within minutes, Kaito sprinted out the door towards professors Sycamore's lab where he'd receive his first real life Pokemon! Elm lived literally twenty feet from the boys house, so he'd reach his destination in no time flat. Before opening the door though, his next obstacle would pause him... Which pokemon was he going to pick? He loved them all, and to top it off being indecisive wasn't going to make this any easier! "I mean fire would be so awesome! Launching flamethrowers is so cool! But Water could be cool too, right? I could have a living walking water fountain at any time..." The boy scratched his head, life was hard right now. "Grass types are sweet too!... Can't I just have them all?!" Kaito pouted, before taking in a deep breath and slowly entering the lab. His adventure would start today, and as soon as he received his pokemon, Kaito would happily be on his way! That was, as soon as he found Professor Sycamore. "Erm, Hello?"
Professor Sycamore was about his lab, some research papers in hand as a new trainer entered, greeting him a bit questioningly. "Bonjour~ Are you a new trainer, perchance? Have you come for a starter?" he asked the young male with a smile.

The boy eagerly yelped words at the Professor, whom mentioned a starter Pokemon! How awesome was that!? "So if I heard correctly, I had three choices right?" The boy knew the answer already, he'd been preparing for this day for months, just didn't want to seem overly straight forward. "I've been thinkin' about it a lot here lately, if possible, could i get a Froakie?" Froakie was easily his favorite of the bunch, mostly because Greninja was such an awesome Pokemon.

If she had to wait until the next day, the young girl would understand, but she was excited and eager to get started. She pushed the door open and walked right up to one of the workers. "Um, hi, can you tell me where the professor is, please?" she asked, putting on what she hoped was a cute enough smile to make up for interrupting the man's work.[-
The researcher that the girl interrupted blinked a bit, before returning a smile and giving a nod. "I'll go get him. Just wait here a moment, miss." the researcher said, then left to disappear further into the lab.
It wasn't long before the professor himself was walking into view of the young girl. "Bonne soirée, ma cherié~" Sycamore greeted the girl, approaching in quite a friendly manner. "Are you here to start a pokemon journey, perhaps?" he asked.

When the new man came over, however, the young girl was a little taken aback. She couldn't understand a word he was saying...at first, then it seemed like he switched back to english. "Oh, um, yes, I am," she said, holding a hand out to the man, "My name's Cerbera, and I'm from Fuchsia City in the Kanto Region. I think my mother called ahead to say I was coming."[-
"Magnifique~" Sycamore exclaimed. It was always nice to meet a new trainer. And this one has come a long way to get to his lab. "Ah, Fuschia City in Kanto! That's quite far, ma cherié. It's wonderful to meet you, Cerbera. I am, of course, Professor Sycamore." he replied. He tried to search his memory for a phone call that he likely received regarding this young girl, but to be honest... he got such calls all the time. It wasn't easy to single out each call. "So, Cerbera. Shall I show you the options you have for a starter here? Or, perhaps, have you done your research and already know what starter you'd like?" he asked her.

Gotcha...As far as post counters, I'm not quite sure which ones apply yet. I was going to add the pokemon and bag stuff after I acquired such items, but now works too.
Ah, so this was a kid out to prove herself, huh? All the luck to her, then. "Right this way, follow me to the back so i can show you the starters, Cerbera." he told her with a smile as she asked to see her choices. It seemed that perhaps in her eagerness to set off, she forgot to look into what was available. He led her deeper into the lab, where conveniently, he already had a froakie, chespin and Fennekin out of their ball, playing around with each other. "Here we are." Sycamore announced, then snapped his fingers a bit to get the pokemons attention. Fennekin stopped wrestling with the Froakie, and Chespin stopped nibbling on some papers to look up at the professor and the young girl. "We have here, Fennekin, the fire type fox. Froakie, the water type bubble frog pokemon, and last but not least, Chespin, the grass type spiny nut pokemon. What shall it be, ma cherié?" he told her, showing off each pokemon. The froakie, once announced, croaked forth a mouth full of bubbles. To which the Fennekin made a face at it. Chespin didn't seem bothered at all.

It's... it's in the Rules. You should really take a look, since it's like, right at the top, and there's a lot of important stuff in there. You need to keep track of wild pokemon encounter counter, movement counter, npc counter, and even more things like xp and friendship counters when you have pokemon.
