Sycamore waited patiently for the trainer to choose. It was a big decision, so obviously, there was no rush. The male seemed caught between froakie and fennekin, but eventually decided on the former. "Fantastic choice~" he smiled, then was caught by surprise when he was showed a trainer card. It was... out of date. "Alright. It will just be a moment." he told them, then went to work on re-registering the trainer card and assigning a dex to it. Once he was finished, he handed the card and dex over to the male. "Here you are. And also, your froakie, of course. I'd like to give you some potions and pokeballs, as well, to help you on your journey." Sycamore told the trainer, having an assistant bring in a small bundle just for them.

Shortly after arriving at Vaniville Town, Elizabeth quickly made her way to the pokemon lab where new trainers normally get their starter pokemon. Technically she already has her starter pokemon from when she first did her journey in the Johto region, but if she is starting fresh here, it is only fair that she gets a starter pokemon for this Kalos region too. She had walked inside the lab, looking around for the Professor and curious as to what her choice of starters will be. Will any of them be cute like her Chikorita was? But she needs to get started on this journey as soon as possible, having left Johto in the middle of the night yesterday with no idea how long it will be before her father finds out what she did and comes after her or decides to send someone else to come after her instead.

Sycamore had been sitting at his desk, looking over the research on mega evolution when an assistant came over to inform him of a new arrival. He got up and headed to the front of the lab to greet a rather pretty, but young red haired girl. "Ah~ Beinvenue, ma cherie! I am Professor Sycamore. Now, to what do I owe for the visit of a lovely young lady like you?" he greeted her with a charming smile.

Elizabeth had waited for someone to help her when finally she saw a man with purple hair in a lab coat come over. That must be the Professor of this lab, right? Sure enough she was correct as he greeted her and introduced himself, asking what she was doing here and complimenting her. "Hello there and thank you. I am here to get my starter pokemon before going on my journey." she then said back to him with a smile and waiting for him to show her the starters to choose from. He certainly is much more charming and flamboyant than Professor Elm was in Johto, proof that each Professor is different.

"Merveilleux! Right this way, ma cherie~" Sycamore smiled upon learning that the young lady was here for a starter pokemon. He led her towards the back of the lab, picking up three pokeballs from the table nearby. "In my lab, we offer these three starters." he started to inform the girl, releasing each of the starters one by one. "Chespin, the grass type." The chipmunk chittered upon release, rubbing its paws on it's face. "Fennekin, the fire type." The fox that appeared stretched and yawned after being released. "And Froakie, the water type." The little blue frog blinked a bit, calmly looking around. "Pick whichever one calls to you, ma cherie~ There are no wrong choices." Sycamore commented, gesturing smoothly to the starters that were now before her.

Elizabeth had heard him, nodding as she followed him to the back of the lab and seeing the three pokeballs. Then she listened to him tell her about the three different starters she could choose from and release them so she could see; Chespin, Fennekin, and Froakie. Again she nodded back as he told her to pick whichever one called to her, glancing at the three and thinking. Honestly Froakie was out of the question, so it was between Chespin and Fenniken. Her last starter was a Grass type, so she should choose the Chespin, but the Fenniken looks like a fox and is so cute. "I would like the Fenniken." Elizabeth had then said back to the Professor as she smiled happily. She couldn't help it, that pokemon is so cute and she could use more Fire types to balance out her team.

He returned the other two unchosen starters to their respective balls before handing over the one that belonged to the Fennekin. Right on time, an assistant came in, handing over a small bundle to the professor. "And here you go~ Some pokeballs, potions, and your very own pokedex, to go with your Fennekin." he told the girl, handing over the bundle. "I wish you the most beautiful of journeys, ma cherie!"

Elizabeth was watching as the Professor had returned the other two starters to their pokeballs. Then he gave her the pokeball that belonged to the Fennekin she had chosen, glad to have her starter. He now was giving her pokeballs, potions, and a Kalos pokedex to go with her Fennekin. "Thank you very much." she said back to him, nodding as she put all the items away before looking at her new pokemon. Elizabeth was thinking of a name for the Fennekin that she has just received. "I'll call you Camellia." she said to the pokemon who happily nodded back at the name. Then Elizabeth smiled, returning the pokemon back to her pokeball and waving goodbye to the Professor before she left the lab to go back to Vaniville Town.

- 11:32 AM. That was the time displayed proudly on the screen at his wrist. Perfect; he’d arrived right on schedule. At least, for his own personal schedule. He didn’t have a set appointment to meet the professor, but he did enjoy being punctual when it came to his plans. It’d been a while after all since he’d been given the chance to perform a hit. Interpol tended to make more use of his cyber intelligence specialties after all; which was why he was employed with them in the first place. That was his main job. But still, though he certainly would never admit it out loud, he was rather gleeful to have an opportunity to use his ‘secondary’ skillset. That was where the real thrills were, and it’d been a while since he had one. Pausing outside the laboratory, he eyed the building a moment. Vaniville was a rather gorgeous town, but that was to be expected in the Kalos region. He couldn’t blame the professor for setting up shop here.
"Sir." An eyebrow quirked slightly as a voice sounded from the X-Transceiver at his side. Without looking he flicked his wrist up and out, the face of the watch –located on the underside of wrist as opposed to the backside as was often the normal way of wearing them- flickering to life as the clock disappeared. "Oui Octave?" He responded, gaze still focused on the building before him, still failing to shift his gaze to the device.
"Miss Fontaine has just sent a message. She will be arriving in Aquacorde Town in approximately forty-two minutes." The voice -electronic to some degree- replied, the wave line on the watch matching the suggested frequency of the words that were spoken. Ashley’s head tilted ever so slightly as he took in the information, quietly seeming to weigh the it in his mind. "I see," he responded, still seeming lost in his own thoughts before finally providing a curt nod to the invisible entity. "Très bien. Merci, Octave." Good; once he’d acquired his necessary materials here, he would be free to move along onto more important matters. He paused a moment about flick his wrist back to his side when a thought seemed to cross his mind. "Let her know that I will be there in zee next thirty minutes or so." He added.
"Yes sir." The watch flickered again before the wave line disappeared and the digital interface for the clock returned. With that handled he flicked his wrist once more and using the same hand, pushed the thick frame of his glasses back up the bridge of his nose. Right then, time to get along with his business.
Without hesitation he pushed to door to the laboratory open and took some steps inside. He paused when he didn’t immediately spot anyone, his hands folding together in front of him as his attention drifted about. It was a very well kept place for a work station. His gaze lingered on the machines that whirled with life nearby, eyebrow quirking in interest. It was often that you encountered legacy hardware and he found his fingers itching just a bit to give it a looking over. He had to wonder what degree of information these systems held; but there was a time for that later.
"’Allo?" He called out as he came to a halt in the middle of the pathway, still looking about in search of life. He didn’t intend to go much further preferring instead to wait until he was addressed. It was more or less, the proper thing to do.

Sycamore looked up from his desk as he heard a newcomer call out in the lab. Setting aside the research for now, the professor got up and went to the front of the lab to see a young man that was sharply dressed. "Bienvenue! What brings a handsome man such as yourself to my lab today? A starter, perhaps? Or are you here for more serious business?" the older man greeted the other with a smile. It wasn't that often that he'd greet any new trainers that were dressed so well.
- Ashley’s attention shifted to rest on Sycamore as he appeared to greet him. It didn’t take much for a smile to cross his face as the professor complimented him and inquired on his reason for being there. He had certainly heard that Professor Sycamore was friendly but he didn’t know to what extent. He was also handsome as well… it was a bit tempting…
Professionalism. That was what was needed here though. His contact at Interpol wouldn’t appreciate it if he was entertaining himself and distracting from his job, though they would hardly know in the end. But then again, he had his sister to meet as well. He had a schedule to keep.
"Bonjour Professor Sycamore." Ashley greeted, placing a hand to his chest and giving a bit of a bow to the man. He straightened up rather quickly, slight smile still on his face as his hand dropped back to his side. "Oui. I am here for a starter, s'il vous plaît ?" He remarked, head tilting curiously. "I was hoping to get a Fennekin, if you should happen to have any available?" he inquired. Usually there wasn’t any short supply of starters -that was what the professors specialized in didn’t they?- but it never hurt to be certain. -

Sycamore was delighted to hear his own tongue being spoken to him. "Merveilleux~ Venez avec moi~" the professor smiled, gesturing for the male to follow as he lead the way towards the back of the lab. Once there, it didn't take long to get everything ready for this handsome fellow. He then handed the male a pokeball containing a Fennekin. "Vous y voilà beau." he smiled, also handing a neat little bundle of pokeballs and potions, and, of course, a pokedex. "Unless you need anything else, you are set to go."

- Ashley smiled and nodded, following after Sycamore as he led the way to the back of his lab. Once more, his attention began to wander about the laboratory scenery as he waited for the good professor to gather the necessary items, a gloved hand once more pushing the frames of his glasses back up the bridge of his nose.
Quickly he refocused as Sycamore returned, handing him a pokeball containing a Fennekin just as he’d requested along with a starter’s bundle for his personal use. Ashley eyed the pokedex in particular as he received it, rolling it over in observation as a slight smile blossomed across his face once more.
"Merci beaucoup, Professor." He remarked, storing the items away in the bag at his side, the pokeball remaining in one hand though. With a slight smile still on his face, he returned his attention to the Sycamore, eyeing the man a moment as he inquired if there was anything further that he needed. "Non. I believe that is all, merci." With that he took a step forward while Sycamore was still at about his level, giving the man a light kiss on the cheek. Ashley moved back and placed a hand to his chest, giving a little bow once more with smile still on his face.
"Au revoir, Professor Sycamore. Do take care." And with one final wave with the pokeball occupied hand, Ashley turned and headed back for the lab entrance exiting back into Vaniville Town.

It had been a long trip to professor Sycamore's lab but it was a good time for her to get to know Sapphire the Amaura that her grandmother had gifted her as a present for being able to go on her own journey. the little prehistoric pokemon sat on the back of her bike while they made the trip from Laverre city to Vaniville town to receive their first friend to go on a journey with. The young lady was obviously excited since she was giggling happily as she thought over which pokemon to choose. She had studied from books on the starters of the region and was actually torn between froakie and fennekin. But she had to admit a fennekin would make an adorable contest partner. She knew that all pokemon were different in their own way but the thought of having a fennekin excited to do contest with her made her happy.
Her dream was to be a great pokemon courdinator who could show off the beauty and magesty of her pokemon to the world of contests. She had practiced and studied with the pokemon her grandmother took care of at her breeding center so she could learn many different types of pokemon combo's. The thought of her having two pokemon to start off with had made Flora extremely excited. She hadn't expected her grandmother to give her an Amaura. But the fact her grandmother was kind enough to think of her and gift her with a pokemon to keep her company and safe during her journey towards the professor's lab, it meant a lot to Flora.
Slowing her bike down, Flora tried her best not to jostle the bike to much that it would cause Sapphire to fall off the back of her bike. The two started to cheer happily when they passed through the town gates and entered Vaniville town. "Were finally here~~ Sapphire. This is where we will get our new pokemon friend and start our journey to be the top stars of the contest world~" she said cheering happily as she slowed her bike down, making Sapphire jump from her seat on the back of the bike and start to walk beside her trainer and their bike while she tried to figure out where to go to get to the lab.
After asking a few people they soon came to the professor's lab and Flora pulled the kickstand for her bike and sat it near the front of the laboratory's doors. She then reached down and picked up Sapphire before heading into the lab and looking around, It was her first time being in a place like this so she wasn't sure if she had to wait or walk further in to search for the professor or not.
