By now, Venus is something of a household Valentine's Day name on Telrunya ... and sometimes, for some of the wrong reasons! Determined to change her image, she's holding a party--
Okay, that's not the real reason.
The real reason is that after long years of being the lonely Goddess of Love, she had met her match, the lovely man Adonis! He's the God of Desire, and what goes better with Love than with Desire?! When he proposed, she squealed with a cheerful, "Yes, yes, yes!" because she imagined the wonderful days she could have, all eyes on her and her hunk of a husband...
Everyone was invited to partake in her joy! Of course, presents are encouraged!
Her sons and daughters were naturally invited with the same encouragement, but who is to say they won't have their own agendas?

Meet Venus' fiancé! Oh, and her sons, daughters, and Eros' family.
Adonis is my beautiful fiancé! Isn't he gorgeous! You can look, but you can't touch! That's right, he's all mine! emotion_bigheart
Mischievious God of Love, and Venus' first son, the apple of her eye. Arrows: his golden arrows are coated in special love potion that will cause a pae'il to fall in love with the first one they see after being pricked by an arrow.
Anteros was created to give young Eros a playmate. He's also last year's victor of Dancing with the Erotes, with that darling Yukiko... where did she go? Oh, no matter! Venus loves her second eldest dearly--he actually listens to her! Arrows: His lead arrows can cause a pae'il to fall in love, just as Eros' arrows, however Anteros is the Avenger of Scorned love, and God of Requited Love. He thinks this chaos is nonsense and has chosen to put his arrows away this year.
Lecherous and very popular with the ladies... and some men, too. Arrows: Himeros' golden arrows will cause pae to feel lust for the first pae'il they see after being pricked. They will have strong sexual desires that are not able to resist. NOTE: any pae under the influence of one of his arrows will NOT rape another. It will be like Pepe le Pew, and he just simple won't give up until that lust and desire is sated.
Wistful and lonely, Pothos is cursed to never find true happiness with love. That's probably why he's so awkward... Arrows: Pothos' golden arrows will create in a Pae'il a feeling of longing, of yearning for the first Pae they see. This is not love they feel, but an intense infatuation; a crush, but on a pae they cannot ever have. His arrows are a curse, because the pae that is yearned for will never return the love, unless Anteros bonks the effected Pae'il.
Once a handsome young man, Iordanes was transformed into an androgynous god when he merged with a nymph. (the greek kind, not the pae kind.) Iordanes looks like a female, but is a male. Arrows: Iordanes' golden arrows are dipped in the cursed waters that he created, and will cause a pae'il to change gender temporarily if pricked.
Hedylogos just wants all Pae'il to feel good! He is the only Erote that is not one of Venus' natural born sons. He was found in her garden one afternoon, and she adopted him and made him one of her Erotes. Arrows: Hedylogos' golden arrows will create in a Pae'il super confidence and wit. He can make any Pae'il a sweet-talker and master of flattery! The effect of his arrows are temporary, and he assumes no responsibility if the pae's sweet-talking gets them slapped.
God of the Wedding Hymn and Ceremony, Hymnaios is also considered a muse of music. Arrows: Hymnaios' golden arrows will cause Pae'il to propose to the first Pae they see. His arrows seem to have been replaced with Anteros', this year... They cause feelings of true love in those who are hit with them!
Psyche isn't part of Venus' Retinue, much to her delight. But she is married to Eros, so she is Venus' daughter-in-law ... again ... much to Venus' chagrin. Psyche and Eros have a beautiful and inspiring love story! How did Eros forgive her for such a--?! Oh, forget it... Arrows: Psyche's arrows, when two Pae are hit at the same time, make those Pae'il believe they are soulmates.
Voluptas is the daughter of Eros and ... blech, Psyche. It's strange how such a bland woman as Psyche managed to create such a little spark as Voluptas! Arrows: Voluptas' arrows make Pae'il seductive.
Thalia is the Goddess of Celebrations, so fitting as a celebration such as this! She better-- I mean, I hope she leaves great tidings on this celebration! Arrows: Thalia's arrows make Pae'il who are hit at the same time dance with each other.
Euphrosyne is one of my lovely grace daughters! She's so happy and bubbly, and I love the cheer she spreads! Arrows: Euphrosyne's arrows make Pae'il who are hit at the same time very happy with each other.
Aglaia is my beautiful young grace of beauty! She is my prodigy and the apple of my eye! Arrows: Aglaia's arrows make Pae'il think the first person they see is the most beautiful Pae'il they have ever seen.
Kleta is one of the Spartan goddesses, specifically of Fame! It's fitting that she is in the family of someone as famous as I am~ Arrows: Kleta's arrows inspire hero worship in two Pae'il hit at the same time to each other.
Phaenna is one of the Spartan goddesses, specifically of Glory! I do believe we are very glorious! Arrows: Phaenna's arrows inspires Pae'il to show off to each other, eventually leading to some playful wrestling! Watch out for Himeros.
Harmonia?! When did you get here! Oh, everyone returns for my engagement and wedding! emotion_bigheart

This is a multi-faceted event, in which there will be chances to win everything from babies of your own, to breeding additives, to even a special egg! Exciting, right?!
You are free to play as many Pae'il as you like (teen and adult only), but only up to five adults, that were previously signed up, are eligible for singles breeding prizes. Couples breeding prizes can only be won by couples previously signed up. The Erotes and Graces have three rolls of 2d100 a day. Each of these numbers corresponds to an arrow being shot at a particular Pae'il! If you and someone else are rolled, you will be quoted so you can react ICly to this change of events. The two Pae'il rolled will also be added to our list of potential pairs! You must post a minimum of four times per Pae'il for that Pae'il to be eligible for any prizes. These posts must be at least four to five lines long. We will look on more posts favorably! Do not delete your posts. We can see if you do in the logs. Since there is a lot of rolling in this event, a post deletion will be assumed as cheating, which will disqualify the player entirely from any prizes. Do not do this! Erote arrows are only visible to deities (including Erotes and Graces) and demis. Rules are subject to addition throughout the event.
Arrows that are loose:Eros - He will make your Pae fall in love with the first Pae they see. Himeros - He will make your Pae lust after the first pae they see. Hedylogos - He will make your Pae become a slick, smooth talker with a winsome smile which other pae will find hard to resist. Pothos - He will make your pae wistful and long for the first pae they see. Any Pae'il unfortunate to roll this Erote may not be lucky enough to hook up. Iordanes (Hermaphroditus) - He will not only shoot your pae with a love arrow like Eros, but the arrow will cause that pae to change gender for the duration of the party! Hymnaios - He has Anteros' arrows this year, which make two Pae feel like they are in true love with one another! Psyche - Her arrows make two pae think they've found their soulmate. Voluptas - Her arrows make pae act seductive towards another pae. Thalia - Her arrows make pae two pae dance with each other. Euphrosyne - Her arrows make two pae super happy towards each other. Aglaia - Her arrows make two pae think the other is the most beautiful in Telrunya. Kleta - Her arrows induce hero worship in two pae for each other. Phaenna - Her arrows cause two pae to show off to each other leading to playful wrestling.

Prisma fluttered into the party with many coos, caws, giggling and prisckles. Her arms were full of a bunch of random knick knacks, rocks, trinkets, lint, all things she had most proudly collected extremely for Venus's party. "I have gifts extremely!!" she declared, near loud enough for everyone to hear, before prisckling even more, flittering to find a place to set them all down before whizzing herself around in a circle. "Oh most wonderous of nights, I am most excited to be here!" the rainbow fae exclaimed, looking around at anypae and everypae. So many new friends to meet! Oh where should she even start?! With that one? Or maybe that one? Or how about that one? OR JUST ALL OF THEM AT ONCE EXTREMELY!

Wild Moon stepped in cautiously, his hand linked with Sweetie Belle's as he glanced around the room. He had indeed ventured out, hopefully unnoticed, against the Cheif's and his parent's wishes. In his other hand he held two bouquets of flowers, one to offer to Venus, having heard down the line of her desire for gifts. He hadn't much to his name and hoped they would be alright. Plus it was a good excuse to get Sweetie Belle on of her own, which is who the second one was going too. In fact...
"Ah... this one is for you... Sweetie.." he said, smiling awkwardly as he paused a moment to present it to her, his OCD kicking in slightly as he attempted to straighten a few flowers. Grinning cheekily he waited for her to accept it before taking her hand again to lead her inside, like a proper gentleman should. Damn she was just too cute! Don't blunder this up Wild Moon! he mentally prepped himself. He also shrugged away the tales his parents had told him about he and his sisters came to be. It happened at one of Venus's parties... which is probably why the Chief decided no faun should be allowed to go..... whoops.
"Here's to a great time... and no strange mishaps." he laughed, looking her over.

So, that whole dancing thing hadn't gone quite as well as he had hoped, with Thalia seeming to disappear from him immediately after their quick elimination. It had saddened him greatly; she had seemed just happy as he was to meet once again. Perhaps it was a silly fabrication of his mind, a little hope.
He was prone to such things.
But, he was also quite adept and shrugging off an uncomfortable situation or feeling and rolling with the rest. Even if she wasn't pleased with him, that didn't mean he would have any less of a time at her mother's party. Heck, he'd make sure to show how one didn't need a silly title to have a wondrous time. Yes, that'd what he'd do.
Soon after setting a number of gems from the sea on a table (supposedly for presents), he looked around the room. Shrugging, he set his stuff, a cup and a canteen, to the side and moved, flute in hand, to the dance floor. It took a few moments, but soon enough he had discovered the rhythm and was harmonizing with the band.
Perhaps, unknown to him, his powers would influence others to join with his festivities.

Alright, the dancing had been fun, but now for the best part. Having escorted the lovely ladies along to the ball room, Himeros slipped away for a little fun of his own before the festivities kicked into full gear. Out of sight, out of mind...
He picked a discrete position near the door, watching all the Pae'il from the Isle file inside. Ooo...hello, handsome! Wait, later, Himeros. Chuckling to himself, he notched two arrows...not too much planning yet. He'd have plenty of time to watch for targets later. For now, let's kick things off with a little chaos...

So, this was the source of her existence nearly a year past? A party like this, on Valentine's day, held by the same Venus? Looking around, Sparrow did not notice anything particularly special about the decorations, nor the atmosphere, that would make her think is was as hectic as her mother had described the occasion. There were pae. They were dancing.
That was it.
Well, she was here, and there was some food. Upon looking at it, her stomach rumbled, reminding her of the last meal she had eaten the morning before. Yes. Food would be wonderful. She walked over to it, wings tucked behind her back and her tail feathers trailing behind her as she made a beeline for it, deciding to forego the niceties of plates and silverware and instead just picking pieces of meat out (delicately) with her claws.
As for a gift, well, her presence was more than enough.

Malek wasn't particularly interested in parties or anything of the sort. Parties meant large amounts of pae; large amounts of pae meant socialization; socialization meant frustration. He wasn't here for such things, but rather as a way to efficiently collect these 'tokens' the squire Harveer had told him the Guardians needed.
If he found them all, well, maybe they might restore a sensible voice.
From the faun, he needed a 'totem' of some sorts; from the naiad, a cup? They seemed such strange things to carry about oneself, but they were also strange beings, weren't they? Heretics, he'd called them?
Setting a flower from the forest near his home on a table, his eyes searched around for something which might fit the description of what he needed. To one side, there seemed to be a canteen and a cup abandoned for later. Well... That was as good as anything, right? He quickly moved over to take the cup and stash it into a bag hung over his shoulder before retreating just as fast.
Glancing behind him, as the little melon that hid behind his head, he mused, 'That's one. Let's keep an eye out for the other and we can leave.'
