Growing Up for Wrigglers
Volume I

When a troll has a Matesprit and a Kismesis, they go and get two buckets, then put all their love and hate into each. This is the start of new troll babies!


Drones bring all the love and hate buckets to the Mother Grub, who lives inside our planet. She takes them and uses them to lay lots of baby troll eggs.


All the eggs hatch into different troll babies, aka Wrigglers. After living with the Mother Grub for a few sweeps, the wrigglers spin themselves cocoons and grow into kids.

Growing Up for Wrigglers
Volume II

After growing to be kids, trolls partake in the Trials, some fun and dangerous games that choose which trolls get to grow up on Alternia.


At the end of the Trials, trolls are picked by their Lusus, who will take care of them from then on. Lusus teach their trolls everything they need to know about living on Alternia.


When they have their Lusus, kid trolls leave the caves inside Alternia, and arrive on the surface. There, Drones build them a house wherever they choose.

Growing Up for Wrigglers
Volume III

Growing up, trolls and their Lusus are very close. Until they're teenagers, they travel everywhere together.


Once trolls have grown up, they are all given a job offer by the Royal Alternian Army. All trolls are welcome.


Over half of all trolls on Alternia grow up to join the army. After joining, trolls can explore space in ships, have fun adventures and defend everyone from evil aliens!

Everyone knows different trolls have different strengths.

Redbloods are polite and friendly, and always up for an adventure.

Orangebloods are laid back and calm, they'll do whatever needs doing.

Yellowbloods are smart and driven, putting the needs of others over themselves.

Greenbloods are responsible and diligent, they're good at taking care of others.

Tealbloods are quick and perceptive, the best at planning ahead.

Bluebloods are clever and skilled, they're great at making decisions.

Purplebloods are strong and charismatic, able to lead others through anything!
