Otogakure Mission Board
Greetings to all Otogakure Shinobi, as you can see, this is a board, with missions. There will be general missions posted here and then later there with be arc missions when arcs are thought up. This idea was borrowed from DigitalMuffins, who came up with the first and original missions board for her village in Kirigakure. I am also using missions that can be found in the missions thread that Shinsua created. Just putting it inside the village makes it easier and, hopefully, more interesting.
As far as the missions go, D rank missions can be taken on by anyone, genin included. C to A rank missions can be taken on by those of Chuunin rank or higher, unless a capable genin is given permission by the Yukikage to take on a C-rank mission. Finally, S rank missions are taken on by those of at the very least Anbu/Oinin rank.

Regular Missions
Tame Mrs. Inoue's Garden

Tame Mrs. Inoue's Garden
Mrs. Inoue is a non-shinobi resident of Otogakure, a grandmother and an all around nice lady. She is in her seventies and her body is not up to chores some days. Recently, she has suffered from a dislocated hip and had been confined to her house for two weeks. During that time, weeds sprouted up everywhere and that of course brings in a variety of pesky bugs. Being too old to tackle such a job, so she needs help.

Catch the Cat
What village would be complete without this time honored mission for all genin to take? Luckily, or unluckily, for the genin, there is a crazy cat lady by the name of Mrs. Akita who keeps losing track of her precious companions.

NPCs Needed: One
Area: Meet Mrs. Akita in the Spring Generator thread, she will tell you where her cats usually like to prowl.
(Roll a seven sided die in the first post to see which cat has gone missing.)

Retrieve Materials from the Mine
The village needs another way to bring in money. There is a mine to the north of Otogakure that has barely been used. The tunnels go deep into the earth and there are plenty of veins rich with minerals such as iron and gems. They are to be brought back to the village so that they may be sold for profit. (Every three posts, the Otokage gets 100 ryo).
Number of Shinobi Required: Minimum of one, maximum of three.
NPCs Needed: None, unless attacked by non-shinobi bandits. To have bandit NPCs, you must have a volunteer who is not taking part in the mission to play them.
Area: Forgotten Lands - Mine, Sound/former-Snow Country
Rank: D
Minimum Number of Posts: 3, not including the posts to travel to the mine or posts spent fighting the bandits if they do show up. You MUST be mining.
AC/Ryo: 150/100 (300/200 if attacked by bandits)
*Special note: For every three posts beyond the minimum, an extra fifty AC and ryo is added.
*It should go without saying that failure to return with whatever precious minerals have been mined, results in the failing of the mission.
Status: Open (a shinobi may only take this mission up to a maximum of three times).
Speak to the Otokage: Let the Otokage know you are heading out to the mine, then pick up the gear (pick axe, book on mining and spotting veins, ec.) from the secretary. Upon returning, the Otokage will give a voucher for downstairs, where the material is turned over and the shinobi will be paid.

Lost and Found
There is a list of lost possessions posted upon the board. The shinobi may choose one and read upon the details. They will go to where the client last remembered having their item and find it. Upon finding the item, they must return it to the client to complete the mission.

Patrol the Village
It is important to ensure that the village and safe and secure. With no shady characters, traitors, and trespassers prowling around. Shinobi must patrol around the entire village to make sure that it is secure.
Number of Shinobi Required: Minimum of one, maximum of three.
NPCs Needed: None, unless someone plays enemies.
Area: All threads
Rank: C (A ranked if one encounters an enemy). Please note that if one wishes to fight an enemy, they must be played by someone not taking part in the mission.
Minimum Number of Posts: One post in each thread.
AC/Ryo: 300/200 (1,000/800)
Status: Open
Speak to the Otokage: Not needed. There is an application in a separate box, each shinobi involved must fill out the report, then hand them over to the secretary, who will give them to the Otokage. They will also fill out the voucher so the shinobi will be paid.

Market Prices
It's always good to know the prices of items and if the price drops or grows. The Otokage likes to keep an eye on the economy of Takumi and thus provides a list of all the items available at the shops there. Shinobi may pick which items to check up on, then venture to Takumi to check the prices. Must obtain the prices for three different items.

Minimum Number of Posts: 6, traveling to and from Takumi does not count for the posts.

Investigation: Vandalism
Mr. Suzuki, owner of a local book store in the village, came to his store this morning to find the window smashed and grafitti on his front door. That is the extent of the damage but one must find the vandal(s) who have damaged his store and turn them in.

NPCs Needed: Two, one for Mr. Suzuki and one for the perpetrator.

Status: Open
Speak to the Otokage: Not needed. After turning in the perpetrator, fill out a report and hand it to the secretary, who will in turn give the shinobi a voucher.

Intercept Enemy Recon
This is a notice to all shinobi within the village, if at any time anyone is aware of enemy shinobi scouting the village, they must be dealt with. Preferably, they are to be run off or captured, so that they may not gain any more information or to be questioned. Yet if they will not go quietly and in fact use lethal force against Otogakure shinobi, then there is no recourse but to eliminate them.
Number of Shinobi Required: Minimum of three shinobi, two if a third cannot be found in time.
*Jounin is the lowest rank that can take this mission. Chuunin will be sent out if not enough Jounin, absolutely no genin.
NPCs Needed: None, RPCs all around.
Area: Within the area of the village or the sound/former-snow country, wherever the scouting team is spying from.
Rank: B rank if they shinobi are run off without gathering much or any information. A ranked if the team turns hostile..
Minimum Number of Posts: No minimum or Maximum.
AC/Ryo: B-ranked 500/400, A-ranked 1000/800 (if the enemies turn hostile and one of them is captured alive, an extra 300 AC will be rewarded).
Status: Open
Speak to the Otokage: If the Otokage is aware of a recon team, he will send word out to the shinobi of the village, via messenger bird. However, if a recon team is spotted by someone, then they are to assemble the appropriate force quickly to deal with them. Meaning if a genin or chuunin spots them, they are to inform the nearest jounin squad before informing the Otokage. Fill out report later.

Falsify Information
This is a notice to all shinobi of Otogakure. If known that there is an enemy shinobi that has infiltrated Yuki to gather information, do not kill them. Instead, feed them false information and inform the Otokage if he is not aware that there is a spy. As you give them false information, make sure you are not caught. Meaning they must not realize the information is false and they must not realize the village is on to them. Sometimes the best way to beat an enemy is to mislead them.
Number of Shinobi Required: Minimum of One
*The lowest possible rank of shinobi to take this mission is Chuunin. Genin should inform the nearest higher ranking shinobi and then inform the Otokage.
NPCs Needed: None, RPCs only.
Area: Anywhere inside of the village where the enemy spy is.
Rank: B ranked, A ranked if they are successfully mislead and take the false information back to their leader.
Minimum Number of Posts: 6
AC/Ryo: B-ranked 500/400, A-ranked 1000/800
Status: Open
Speak to the Otokage: If the Otokage is aware, he will inform the shinobi of his village. However, if a shinobi discovers a spy, then they will go ahead with the mission and make sure to inform the Otokage. Fill out report later.

Status: Open
Speak to the Otokage: Can be informed by the Otokage to do this mission. However, unless chuunin, permission is not needed. Instead, fill out a report upon returning and hand it over to the secretary.

Investigation: Felony
There's been a murder within the village. Late at night, someone came into Mr. Hadoka's store, stabbed him multiple times until he died, and then robbed the store of it's money and valuables. It is not believed that a shinobi is involved but due to the violent nature of the crime, a shinobi is needed to track down and apprehend the perpetrator.
Number of Shinobi Required: One
*Lowest rank to take this mission is chuunin, but they must ask for information.
NPCs Needed: Variable, to cover the witnesses, for the perpetrator, etc.
Area: Dragons Pass, Streets
Rank: B-ranked
Minimum Number of Posts: None
AC/Ryo: 500/400
Status: Open
Speak to the Otokage: Not needed unless chuunin, the information is on the mission board. Then after the crime is solved, fill out a report and then hand it to the Otokage's secretary.
