Tobi did a victory loop-de-loop when he practically destroyed the moving target and gave an encouraging thumbs up to the firstie as he finally hit one after being hit himself. Suddenly he saw a target coming towards at the same time as a bludger and raised his bat to hit one of them.

Adalaide frowned when Cora missed the shot. It'd been a fairly easy one, Ada had fumbled the ball a bit on the throw. It seemed that the younger girl had been distracted. She hoped that the girl upped her game a bit and got her head in it; she'd done a pretty good job last year. Ada sighed and did a couple maneuvers like she would in a game, trying to make it from one end of the pitch to the other, and threw the ball at Steele again.

Steele stared down the shot, knowing that this was a blazer. Great placement. Great power. Overall great. He would need to muster everything to even touch this shot. He read its direction, along with reading the curve if any. And there seemed to be an outer curve on it. Wow.

Steele watched as the ball had flown past his fingers, curving right past his outstretched hands. The quaffle hit the inside of the hoop and fell quickly into the right most goal. He just watched in stupefied silence. He then looked over at Adalaide, an impressed look on his face. He got the Quaffle quickly, throwing it back to her.

"Wow...that was...that was impressive. I don't even mind missing that one. Great shot. I don't care who it is in front of you. That's going to go in every time," he told her, smiling. They may not be in the best terms but he would recognize a great shot when he saw one. That was...impressive.

Adalaide did a weird sort of hop on her broom when she watched the shot she'd made, not even the least bit surprised that Steele had missed it. She could hardly believe she'd thrown that! Her fist pumped up in the air and she lost her balance for a second, smiling ear to ear. "I think I might actually be good at this, yeah?" she called, not really bragging, more in awe of the fact that... she was actually sort of good at this! She caught the pass from Steele and immediately took off on her broom, looping around to shoot it back at Corabell again. That would be two shots for each of them. If she blocked this, that was one block, one miss.

Terren sighed, but kept on flying. He had to find that dang Snitch to prove himself to the Captain! If she was just some random girl, it wouldn't be that big of a deal, but she was his sister. His older sister. Her opinion of him mattered a lot. Almost as much as his parents' opinions of him. "Here, Snitchy, Snitchy, Snitchy... Where are you?..." he said, as if calling to the little golden ball would bring it to him. He could still hope, couldn't he?

Steele just smiled when she went off. He remembered he had done that when he began playing football when he realized wow, he might just be good at this. So, he understood. He didn't see it as bragging like some people would. "Alright, hotshot, you got work to do...like all of us here...but, yes, you are good at this," he said to her. He hoped that she would take that on the field.

Raph couldn't believe he had gotten so cocky with the shot that he had missed... And even got hurt... AGain!!! He dropped the bat as the bludger hit his wrist instead of the bat. He heard a crushing sound and all he could feel was pain as he looked at his wrist. Not wanting to fall b grabbing his wrist he just watched it swell. He took a landing to feel around the bones but he cringed at even the thought of touching it. Great... He broke his wrist... Sighing unhappily the boy grabbed the bat he had missed with and got back into the air. Determined to continue to play even with his bad arm... But he was going to have the let go of the broom to strike again. He wasn't sure which was scarier, the metal balls or the pain that followed. He wanted to see Tobi and Heather hit again before he tried to take another shot. He was quite determined not to cry in pain.

Olyvia nodded at the instructions for the try outs. She just had to try and score on the keepers. That was easy. Flying up on her broom with a quaffle in hand, she came to a goal post guarded by Jarlath. She gave the younger boy a smile, before tossing the quaffle towards the hoops.

There! Right in front of him! The Snitch! It circled him quickly before taking off again, leaving Terren to follow in chase. Gripping the handle of his borrowed broom, he sped forward, keeping the tiny golden speck in his sight as he flew. He just had to catch it! He had to!

Tobi gave an appreciated whistle when he hit his last target and watched the firstie hit his own. The kid really was good! And then, iickk, he got hit again. Crap! He looked like he had gotten hurt too! Flying over towards him he saw yet another bludger heading his way while the kid was preoccupied with his injury and probably trying to keep in play. If this weren't a practice he'd think it admirable. When he reached him he took a quick glance at his wrist before looking for the incoming bludger. "That doesn' look too good there Raph. Maybe fly down an' ask Heather ta bandage it for ya. Crap! Watch out!" Tobi finally saw the crafty iron ball and raised his bat to hopefully hit it away from the pair.
