Rein jumped to attention when her captain started talking. She nodded her head when she was placed on Bronze team. She was sad she was against Lena, but that was alright. She took off and looked around. Gavin looked a bit too excited, so the second year aimed a bludger at the seeker.

spaceKiery figured that, if she watched the others, eventually she'd figure out what she was doing. Of course, she hadn't really counted on things immediately becoming very, very confusing. Still, she'd at least made note of who was on her team. She was with the pretty dark haired girl, and on the same position, Chaser. Which apparently meant she was supposed to be going after the red ball... Quabble? Was that what it was called? Chaser at least made sense, you were supposed to chase the ball. She watched the Asian boy on the other team steal the ball from Lena, and frowned. Okay, so she had to try and get it back, right? She could do that... Maybe.

Lena had the quaffle for about two seconds. Hikaru stole back, then Keiry the first year stole, then Hikaru again... so Lena pulled up to speed. Once at Hikaru's side, she reached out, determined to steal.

Max Took a seat in the stands it seemed he was a little late but on the upside, the game was just starting. Max only went to the pitch to watch the practice he thought that it would be cool to play but his dad had told him it was unlikely for first years to make the team though he was confused as to why there only seemed to be one keeper? as Max scanned the players he noticed one was a first year what was her name something witchy "oh that's cool and kind of a bummer, well there's always next year." he muttered to himself shaking off a modicum of self-pity. Max smiled watching the first few moments of chaos including a steal by the first year girl and the older boys retrieval "Oh this guy is good, this is gonna be great."

Ahnna was watching the tryouts silently, taking notes every few seconds on different players. Suddenly the seventh year noticed a boy had shown up and was just watching from the sidelines. She floated down and hovered next to the stands in front of him. "Hey there. You're one of the new first years right? It was... Max right?" Ahnna was glad she was good with names and had paid attention to the sorting. She tilted her head at the boy and flashed her hair from pink to blue to green and then back to pink. She liked to show off her party tricks for the first years. It was fun. "Do you want to try out? You know you can right? They got rid of that no first years allowed to play rule a long time ago. I've been playing since I was a first year and now I'm captain of the team."



She's like a rock
