Kenny missed the first try, so he tried again. He was very well aware now that there were three people going for the snitch, but he wasn't paying the others any real attention. His hand shot out, trying to see if he could grab the snitch before the others could.

Kenny had to swerve, nearly missing the younger Slytherin as the snitch slipped out of his sight. He knew that Lillantine and Addario were still chasing it, so he peered in that direction and scanned the area. ready to give chase again. He was not happy he lost it, that was certain.

___ The wave of wind ricocheted against him, he could feel his broom rippling back and forth, rocking like a boat as, all around him, Evander and Kenny both fought back and forth to try and catch the snitch. He should have joined them, but it seemed a bit dangerous, he certainly didn't want to be the reason one of the players fell off their broom. So he stayed on chase until things eased up, it seemed like they both had lost sight of the snitch by now so he reached out to try and catch it.

Ashley carried the box and his broomout to the pitch, his eyes already scanning the pitch before he set the box down. Taking a sheaf of papers out of his robes, he set them on top of the box and conjured a paperweight to keep them from flying off. He then went around the pitch to see what preparations he would need, and just shook his head before making them. There was never a guarantee that there would be enough players for a scrimmage game during tryouts, so he contented himself with just waiting for players to show up. Hopefully Camila came soon. That way he wasn't the only authority figure on the pitch.

Benjamin showed up on the field and sighed for a moment as he realized he was the first one there beyond girly-man Ashley. Though, Benjamin supposed he should show the guy a hair more respect since he WAS the Team Captain now. And he did get along well enough with the Russian who looked like he probably killed a few people already. (There was a reason Benjamin had fallen into the habit of being punctual about quidditch).
Benjamin smirked taking a form, winked at Ashley and said, "Hey, Ash-Ash, you picked me as your totally awesome VC right? After all why wouldn't you?" He shook his head and then said more stoically and a bit horrified, "I'm joking of course. You sure as Hell better of not. God, I'm against any extra work. That's extra work."
Finishing filling out the form he handed it over, "Here."

Camila had hoped to have arrived before anyone else—excluding Ashley, of course—she hadn't had much of an opportunity to really consult him on exactly what the bloody hell she would be doing. She only found out by owl, and that didn't really give her too many chances to ask questions. Well, she could have, but it would've been tedious, and her cow of a family owl would've hated it. So she only hastily replied as calm of a 'yes,' and 'thank you' as she could. But, she'll just have to wing it. As Camila jogged to the center field, she overhead Benjamin, and waited until she was in front of the pair to roll her eyes ever so dramatically until they practically broke off. ”Oi, you already trying to steal my position, Benji?” She sighed, a sharp exhale blew a few strands of hair out of her face in exasperation. ”Oh look Yaxley, I think we found our first volunteer to clean up after try outs are over.” She teased, a smug little smile lit up her features. She was prefect, and vice captain, she had the authority to stomp her boot, and dammit, stomp she will. She's only kidding of course... Kind of...
