Quick steps dug into the snow as she walked for the docks. There were several large ships docked as well as several small ones. The large ships were mostly cargo ships and the occasional tour ship for well, tourists. They were to take one of the smaller ships to the investigated destination. It could be a good thing or a bad thing that the area where the enemies were spotted was not to far away. She approached their small row boat and tugged on the string connecting it to the dock. Pulling the boat closer as she looked behind herself at the two following Genin. "You two get in and then we can take off." Poor Genin, if only they knew now that they would be doing the rowing. Or perhaps Shigeru would play the gentleman, using his control over wood to row the boat by himself.

Jae did as she was told, inspecting the twin oars that were on either side of the boats bulk before climbing in. Raising a brow quizzically she turned to look at the Jounin. Jae wanted a little more information about where they were going and why exactly. Their Kage was in jeopardy, obviously. Why? "I have one question, if you don't mind me asking of course. It wouldn't hurt to have it answered as we go off into the distance." Her piercing gaze was a tad bit more inquisitive than a thirteen year olds should be. She was risking her life for this. It would have been nice to know what they could possibly be dying for.

Shigeru followed behind Nakura and Jae to the docks. He knew this place well for he had been out on the water many times. Shige's favorite hobby was fishing. Although he rather be on land, the best fish were out at sea. Shigeru usually went along with the charted fishing boats. He was well known around there and was always welcome if he ever chose to join a crew for departure. It disappointed Shigeru to see that they wer etaking a row boat to their destination. Either it is close by or we need to stay hidden. Shige saw that Nakura was taking care of their departure so he stepped into the boat after Jae. He quickly began preparing the boat so that they had space to sit and tools to keep the boat in good condition. He took the oars that were tied onto their respective cradles on each side of the boat and began to untie them. Shigeru heard Jae ask their leader about their mission. Shige was also curious but kept to himself. He listened as he worked. He sat down between the two oars and folded the tarp that would cover the boat after docking. Shigeru placed the folded tarp in the back of the boat and rested their anchor on top of it.

Nakura slid herself into the boat shortly after the two Genin had done so. Catching the question before she did, but she wanted to seem relaxed before she took on the question. She left the boat secured to the dock, it in itself ebbing and flowing every so often as the waves caressed its underside. She looked to Jae and spoke. "Of course, go ahead. These are your lives, you have a right to any information I have on the situation." She sat on the bow of the boat, one leg up and the other extended a bit. She wanted to be within reach of the rope for when they ceased their conversation. A quiet trip would keep them from being noticed, so getting it all out now was best.

Looking at the Jounin she tried to sum up in a small amount of words what it was that she wanted to know. Feeling a littler nervous now looked at the waters that swirled around the boat. "A Yukikage doesn't just, I mean, this doesn't just happen. What are we dealing with here exactly?" Looking down at the small space in front of her feet Jae realized she was not doing a very good job at asking her question.

"The Yukikage, though powerful was not trained to be a ninja. Because of that he often finds himself caught in various traps. Most of which he can get out of, but something about this Genjutsu is hard for him to break alone. So no, against most Kages it wouldn't work, but ours is special." She turned about and leaned off the boat to undo the rope that connected it to the dock. With a shove of her hand the boat would slowly slip out into the water. "Don't paddle yet." She would utter to Shigeru before continuing her words for Jae. "Think of him as a little brother, and the Village as our mother. The Village thrives if we keep him safe. So our mother rewards us for protecting our little brother, and in return our little brother will care for us more than anyone else in the world." The boat continued idly about the water. Most may react differently to hearing such a truth about their kage. Though it was information that these enemies had, or perhaps most of the world had. They could use the information to their best abilities. It was only fair for anyone risking their lives for the sake of Crisis to know.

Staying silent as Nakura explained the reasons for what was going on, Jae absorbed it all, her expression placid in order to give herself an appropriate moment to really wrap it around her mind. Their Kage was inexperienced in respects towards the way of the Shinobi. If this village had not been snow it would have posed as a serious problem but because this land was so peaceful, it was not. The way that Nakura had put it struck home with Jae. "Let's go save our little brother ne?" Was all she replied with. Genjutsu. He was stuck in a Genjutsu? Jae settled herself in the boat, noticing that Shigeru had already take control of one of the oars. They were wasting time now. She had her explanation, what happened from here was up to them. The Yukikage's fate was in their hands. Jae kept her expression cheerful and free from anything that would make her seem hesitant from this mission. Alas that was hardly what she was feeling. Their Kage was a perfect vessel for peace but the other villages had Kages who were militarily stronger than theirs by lou of experience in battle. Snow was a rising nation. If they could not properly protect themselves from the stronger villages Snow would not last long. All her life she had been taught to be stronger was the only way to overcome your opponents, it was a little hard for her to sympathize.

Shigeru sat patiently between the oars, not taking them in his hands for he did not know in which direction to take them. Instead, he sat listening to what Nakura said. It made sense. Snow was new to the shinobi world. It had been operating as a village of ninja but not one of the Great Nations. Now that it was part of the Hidden Villages, Yukigakure was forced to become stronger for it was now looked upon as a superpower. Their enemies in the region, knowing this, chose to target the village. Not meant to be a ninja..That's why he looked the way he did. He looked more like a politician than a Shadow.
Shigeru remembered the way Crisis had looked across the field with such a distant look in his eyes. He must have been under a lot of pressure. Only to be taken hostage. Shigeru found it peculiar, the way Nakura described their village and leader but knew that he could make no better analogy. He nodded and rested his hands on the oars. Shige looked to Jae. She was determined and seemed to be very understanding. Shige shared that enthusiasm. He would take back Crisis from whoever's Genjutsu held him. Shige did not know him well but he seemed like a kind man. The kind of man he would have liked as a father..

"Yes, let's go save our little brother." Nakura rose a hand and pointed to a small winding path that lead off of the direct ocean. This would lead to a small island where the enemies were meant to be. They would dock around the abandoned train station. Figuring that to be the most discreet path to take, albeit dangerous because of the high rising cliffs that surrounded the tracks. It could very well be an ambush, but Nakura had ways of dealing with ambushes on icy paths. "That way"

Shigeru looked to the direction that Nakura had pointed to and saw that she wanted them to enter the inlet to the east. Shige knew what was past there but rarely went there since the fish there were scarce. "Yes, mam." He nodded and took both oars in each hand and pushed them forward and downward before pulling back on them. His motion was gentle but strong. The boat steadily moved east, carrying the three shinobi across the water, the calm waves, creating slopes on which their boat slid down upon. Soon they would follow the inland waves and meet land.

Nakura would assist Jae in getting Shigeru off of the boat, but that was all as she had to report in now. "Take him to the hospital as soon as possible." She gestured before taking off towards the Yukikage's office. So much to do, and so little time to do it in.

Jae nodded solemnly, Shigeru's weight bearing down on the young kunoichi once Nakura had released her hold on him. Jae was anxious to see what was going on with their kage but there was nothing she could do at the moment. It was Nakura the Yukikage would need to see first, not two expendable Genin. Struggling a little bit but determined, Jae escorted, supported and dragged Shigeru to the hospital ward.

____Judai____
"Death will eventually be escape from my torment."

Having left Iwagakure after its fall, Judai had been lying low for months now searching for a new home, somewhere he could truly fit and prosper. In his travels he had heard about a village based on snow. With the cold being his ideal temperature and nature, the Village Blanketed by Snow would be a good start in finding a new home.

Searching the docks area Judai failed to spot any boat tied down. This left him with only one option, to cross the waters on foot. It would be mad for anyone to cross the waters without a boat for one would surely freeze due to the sub-zero temperatures, but Judai was a special case. Judai would take a step onto the wet surface and flow chakra to the bottom of his foot. The water under his foot would slowly begin to freeze. He would do the same with his other foot and continue in the same fashion across the water. Being of the Hyuuton clan had its benefits, especially when dealing with water.

It would not take him long to reach dry land. He would head for the gates and hope for easy access into the village.
