Guidelines of Hogsmeade (Read Before Posting)

This is another roleplaying opportunity for all those out there. So, make sure you're following the rules of roleplaying here.

Also, you may buy some things, but understand that using real gold to buy something that you can't even see is silly. If a store owner is charging real gold for such invisible items, PM a Vice Captain immediately. Never give out real gold for transactions here.

You must be a third year or up to enter here. Prefects can, and will give you detentions and deduct house points for those who are underage and found in Hogsmeade.

Stores can be closed by the title being edited to say "Store Name ~ Closed". Store owners have the ability to close it if they can no longer be on the computer; they do not have to stay at the computer everyday at certain hours. Closing the store allows for real life freedom without having to be at your store for long periods of time.

Open your store whenever you have a moment to just sit and let students come in and out of it and buy things.

Living Areas at Hogsmeade

There have been a lot of requests for a thread for living areas and homes for Hogsmeade Storeowners. We will continue to deny these requests. The reason for this is that all shops have living quarters above the shop itself, much like they do in Europe.

For those requesting homes around Hogsmeade who are not shop owners, those requests will be denied. You must only visit Hogsmeade and stay at an inn, not live near or around it.

We hope this removes any confusion.
