Though those words were more for himself than her. His eyes glowed brightly in the presence of magic, watching the smoke as it dissipated slowly.

"That is it," she was not Miss Clark and would not be referred to as such, "and there is an exit back to Ashdown three doors down, if you want it. Thank you," his tone was careful, calculated, just like the look on his face was, "for your time."
