*MAJOR damage done to Franco's American Express card. She can hardly wait for Antonio to get the bill in the mail and call Franco to REAM him for going overboard on buying things for his band of floozies that follow him around when he goes to Vegas. The longer he takes upon seeing her, the more she'll spend. She can do the damage to a man's wallet equivalent to one of those Vegas style building demolitions. A good KABOOM and the whole damn placed comes tumbling down in no time flat.

One of those luggage racks on wheels were needed to load up all the shopping bags and packages. And once the small group of them arrive back to the penthouse. An exhausted and very uneasy Beppe excuses himself and in a rather nervous manner disappears down a hallway.

She and Katana plunk down onto a huge sofa giggling at Beppe's quick exit and Mr. Giovanni goes to the bar to fix himself a drink.*

Propping her feet on the coffee table, she pulled out a clove and lit it, and then gave Gio a look.

"I hope you're making Psy and me a drink as well....we need one after that shopping trip. lol "

She turned to Psy and laughed. "I think we wore poor Beppe out, he's already going to bed. lol "  

[Psyzapp]

*Laughs* Poor Beppe. He needs to start taking vitamins or something so he can keep up. wink *She crosses her legs* Its been a while since I've been to Vegas.

*Looking to Mr. Giovanni, she points briefly* Yeah. Can you please pour us a chilled glass of Riesling or something, Alfonso?

"I'm actually kind of surprised Frankie called me out here...considering the state I was in last time I was here. sweatdrop I do still wonder what he's so worried about where you're concerned though. confused Anything you want to talk about, Psy?"

Gio brought them both a glass of wine and then went back to the bar to retrieve his drink before taking a seat in a nearby chair.

*Thanks Mr. Giovanni sweetly before taking a sip of wine.* I can't remember when the last time was we actually had the opportunity to chat, Katana. So much has been happening I don't even know where to begin.

William was abducted in early April. Someone or some people broke in somehow and took him right out of bed in the middle of the night. I didn't hear a thing. It was very upsetting when I realized what was going on. It took me a couple of days to put the pieces together. He was gone almost a month. I'm still a little unclear as to what happened, why he was taken or anything. I'm not sure William is clear about any of it either. He literally returned via a sheriff from some bumpkin town lord only knows where from just before the children's first birthday. He looked horrible, Katana. Like he'd gone and joined up with ZZTop. neutral

She stared at Psy while she told her about this so-called abduction.

"Wait...how the hell did anyone get inside the estate? confused Was there a ransom? How'd he get away?"

She had a lot more questions for Psy, but figured she should just hit her with a few at a time.

I don't know. neutral I don't know how anyone got in and no…all I got was this note that said he was fine and that he'd be home soon. No type of ransom whatsoever. It doesn't make any sense! stressed He was trying to tell me about it and it was so confusing. I'm not sure if he's even clear. He said he was hit on the head, knocked out, bound, blindfolded, starved, tortured and then when I asked him what they wanted he stated talking about an intervention and then it sounded like he was taken by Dr. Phil. I don't even know. stressed

She arched an eyebrow at Psy.

"Well, did you take him to a hospital when he was returned? If he was starved and tortured, I'm sure he had some serious wounds that needed attention, not to mention some serious rehydration if he was starved. neutral And who the hell kidnaps someone to do a ******** intervention? talk2hand "  

[Psyzapp]

*Shrugs.* Dr. Phil? *she takes a sip of her wine.* But he says it wasn't Dr. Phil. Some Irish people. He didn't seem like he needed a doctor. Its possible he saw one while in this po-dunk town wherever. neutral There simply are no answers at this point.

emotion_eyebrow Staring at Psy, her "this s**t ain't right" meter was going crazy and she crossed her arms.

"So, somehow -someone- got inside the estate, took him and he was gone for almost a MONTH, and then he comes back, talking about being tortured, starved, etc....yet he says nothing about being hospitalized or if the police have done any investigation about this? Sorry Psy....but my bullshit meter is off the chart here. Are you sure he didn't set this s**t up for some reason?"

I'm sorry, Katana. sweatdrop I can't remember all the specific details. I was trying to make sense of it all and keep it all straight. It was just a whole lot to take in at once and he was telling me all this. It was confusing. I filed a police report, he filed a report in this po-dunk town with the local sheriff. neutral

I don't know why he would feel the need to lie to me.

She snorted, "Who the hell knows with him? It's like that time he made that catty remark about my hair when I colored it white. rolleyes Calling me sweetie and all that s**t. That's not something a straight man says to a woman when they're referring to how they look...at least not in the tone of voice he used. stare "

She took a sip of her almost forgotten wine and had a drag off her clove while she leveled a look at Psy.

"You completely sure he's sane? That behavior doesn't seem like that of a person that has their sanity...just sayin'. And I don't know that he's lying to you, per se...but maybe he's created this entire situation for some weird reason?

………………… *This is not cool and this whole conversation raises a brand new set of questions. Perhaps saying "sweetie" to Katana was a form of sarcasm. Granted its very odd choice in sarcasm coming from a man for sure…at least a straight one. neutral

Could he be going through something she's unaware of? neutral Like a midlife crisis or something? A midlife crisis does some crazy things to a man. But, why couldn't he have just gone out and bought himself a convertible or something like every other man? stressed They never discussed any type of family history dealing with instability. neutral This would be something she would have hoped he would have shared before deciding to have children.

Finishes her wine quickly. This is quite upsetting and it starts to make her angry. She puts her glass onto the coffee table and gives Katana that plastered on smile she has when she has to attend one of those numerous events.* I'm quite tired all of a sudden. Today was just wonderful. So much fun. Maybe tomorrow we can lay by the pool and go to the casino? *She stands, excuses herself and says goodnight to Katana and Mr. Giovanni.* neutral
