Hachiro would listen intently to the conversation, not having much to submit of his own. It was Ada's strategy, a good one. Hachiro was simply biding time until he was able to meet the enemy face to face and tear through them. Still, it would be his lightning that would submit an additional boost to the trap's potential devastation. " I stand with Ada on this. We have the potential to deliver a massive blow to their first platoon."
Hino tapped the shoudler of Jay, speaking so all present could hear him. "Enemy contacts, one lieutenant, a company of lower levels in the ao." Jeon inhaled, realizing they could do some serious damage, and Jay punched his fist into his palm. "Ada! Hachiro!" they harmonized. "Let us help you set this trap off. We have some strong lighting skills ourselves, if we combine our attacks with the silver and your lightning, even improperly formed the collaboration should do serious damage. After we do it, we need to move though," the now excited twins spoke, cutting into each other's sentences at odd intervals that were still seemless. The two would lead Hachiro and Ada to the streets, just barely in a spot where the city wouldn't be caught up in the blast, almost the outskirts near where they'd exfiltrate to the main assault force.

As masters of synchronity through genetics and spirit, the Soma no Ko would wait for Ada and Hachiro to be ready before loosing a powered up Chidori Nagashi, an S rank level of chakra, at the street to set off the meticulously laid out trap alongside the two of them. __ Ada felt quite relieved that their plan was permitted to take action. "Understood." She kept her reply simple before following their rescuers to where they could trigger the trap and surprise the enemy forces that had mistakenly moved into the ruined village of Seizan. Ada quickly performed a few hand seals for her Manipulated Lightning technique, just as she'd show Hachiro how to do, and aimed the potent electrical threads at another portion of the streets to further boost the damage of the attack. Without any delay, she would follow the twins and the other two talking monkeys that were in the party. Her subordinate, Hachiro was expected to keep up all the same for now. They would most certainly return to participate in whatever was left of a battle to be had. The twins before the pair who had been stranded prior would confirm the plan that Ada had devised. The two had, between the two of them delivered a mighty blow to the silver lining in the city by using Chidori Nagashi, a technique Hachiro had never seen. While amazed, he knew he had to focus too.
Hachiro would mimic Ada's hand signs. He would preform the same technique that she had just cast. After all, it was a technique that she had taught him in preparation for this moment. The second B rank application of lightning upon the the silver in combination with the S rank would surely annihilate the opposition. With that, the boy would follow the group should they make it out.
With the rest of the first platoon entering the city, and no sensory equipment on hand, the platoon was taken by surprise entirely by the quite literal electric storm which engulfed the city. While the grunts would not stand a chance in hell the leadership did. While the electricity raced across their bodies ripping flesh apart and gouging deep lines amidst the screams of pain and agony. War truly was bloody and hellish. The leadership, the two nco's and the lieutenant however, were a different story from the men they lead. While they had no defense, the leadership did. Engulfing their bodies a shimmering barrier quickly formed to protect them from the lightning. While the two nco's stood behind the Lieutenant they got a "nice" view of the mans shielding holding, for a moment. Then it shattered almost like glass with the streams of lightning rending his flesh just like those of the privates with them and adding his screams to theirs....

Unki and her miniature brigade had missed the spark of the electric catastrophy. The team wasn't late, however, for the flickering, unyeilding toll of the lightning storm and the chilling cries of agony filling in the place of sound. Their targets were supposed to be ahead. The objective was to remain out of sight, hunched low, and moving swiftly into position. Unki gave a hand signal to Shion, open palm and slowly pushing downward to relay the order of cautious movement. Her previous purchase of a set of silent soles are being put to the test against the layer of snow beneath them. {ooc: sleep now. work until tomorrow evening}

[Sloppy entry post sorry im in class right now] Keeping low as instructed, Shion followed close behind Unki, sword drawn and ready for their targets to come into view. Her eyes rapidly scanned the ruined landscape, looking for any signs of life... though, it seemed like there was none to be found.
To their side was a wall of snow just under five feet in height. By the sight of stray flecks of dirt and brown, withered grass the wall was likely fortified by earth and burried shrubs. The natural border was dividing them from the enemy and a good portion of the onslaught. Unki and Shion were not blind of the disaster but the disaster was currently blind of the kunoichi pair. For the time, the girls appeared to have the advantage. If they didn't have the advantage, ideally, wouldn't someone have taken them out by now?
Unki stopped. She bowed her head further and moved the top of her hand to delicately inch onto the snow wall. The wailing of those suffering wasn't easy to take. She didn't need her palms to sweat neither did she need her hands to freeze. Nor did Unki need the soft patter of her heart's anxious drum to rival the torture her ears were hearing. There were peers to prove wrong, there were lives to avenge, protect, a title to take back, and there is plainly a job to see through.
She began to move again before she could hope to make Shion worry. Her thoughts were subtracting the distance they've taken since they started this advance. There is a break in the snow bank coming up shortly. This break was configured as the best point to make the first offensive manuver. Take the two who make up the remaining of the first platoon. Shiro will take Akagi. Unki stopped, certain to be against the snow bank, and looked at Shion. She cautiously leaned toward her and began to slowly mouth words with little sound to back them "...'ll isolate...-kagi. Down and then draw away our target. "
If her projections were correct Akagi was behind just the snow bank. Her move would initiate upon Shion's confirmation of understanding. Unki make a single string of and hand seals that did little in the ways of producing an obvious outcome. This was step one to preparting her plot.

Shion nodded to Unki as she mouthed her plan. She wasn't too sure how Unki planned on getting the targets away from Akagi, but Shion trusted her... she had to trust her. The slightest amount of doubt in her squad leader would be sure to throw a monumental sized wrench into the plan. As she waited for Unki to make her move, Shion took the brief moment to get her own game plan set up; anything that could be used to get the upper hand could, and should, be taken. First, Shion created a Shadow Clone, crouching along side her to keep out of sight. There was a brief poofing sound, but given the general chaos of the environment, it was unlikely it would be heard. After that, the two quickly bound 5 kunai in explosive tags, which the clone stored within its kunai pouch. It wasn't much, but it was something to get the edge on their opponents. With everything in place, Shion shot an "okay" sign to Unki and waited for her to do the rest.
The smell, the sickeningly sweet smell of blood which hung low in the air. For most it was enough to be sickening but for him, the man who was walking almost casually towards the smoke and death, it was glorious. It was the smell of blood shed in pursuit of freedom. As he passed the first of the dying he pulled a kunai from his belt end casually sent it to pierce his throat, ending his cries with gurgling choking,"Sins shall be cleansed in blood."
Building his chakra he activated his mic,"Shion, Unki. Target the Nco's. Your orders are to kill them." Picking up his pace his body started to trail golden flames from the concentration and buildup of chakra. Using the smoke to mask his presence continued to build up his chakra until his body strained from the effort. By now it was a solid gold aura which streamed from his body shot through with streams of lightning. With one final breath he dashed forwards into the city finally ready to lead his forces to victory and obtain his vengeance, or die in the process.

The buzzing of Shiro's voice voicing orders directly into their ears really made her tense up. She didn't except his voice blaring in again so soon. The expression on her face became off, just then. Furrowed brows and a grimace. A corner of her mouth tugs on her otherwise, fairly neutral, face into a small frown. The Unki-voice in her head sounded off a spontaneous hurried chant that bled out from her mouth here and there: New plan new plan "new plan new plan" She sharply inhaled the cold air. Spontaneous actions-” Go!" Unki rolled forward into the open space and then again to position herself in a crouch, so dangerously close, behind them. She could reach out and tug on one of their pant legs if she wanted. She could too. Raising her neck, Unki exhales a heavy plume of ash upward at the two underlings. With the dark ash cloud spreading and obscuring the area above their knees. Unki's crouched form should be still be visible to Shion for a time until she should attack the further most target from Shion.
Taking the target furthest from the opening was the least Unki could do after changing the "plan" at last minute. Shion seemed able enough to adapt to changing plans, yeah?
Unki opted to waste no time in preparing for a return strike. She knew the ash could be proven volatile with the correct resources used and, truly, Unki didn't know if any of these men had something as simple as a lighter on their person. Taking a chance like this was a gutsy move on Unki's part. Only a few of her scorch abilities could possibly ignite the ash cloud but the item in mind shouldn't cause an unnecessary Unki-casualty. In the darkness, Unki stood and held her breath.
The girl formed a succession of single hand signs to conjure four, large, yellow, spheres of scorch chakra to form and stabilize themselves around her. Being in such close vicinity of the NCO all Unki had to do was time a her movements to have at least one scorch sphere hit and mummify her target. Unki stepped back and added a forearm's length between herself and her target in attempt to the get the positioning right int his small window of time she had. She traced the path of one yellow sphere before losing sight of it in the ash, then sidestepping to her right to test her jutsu's capabilities and hurries out of the ash cloud. If her calculations were correct, at least one of the spheres should have touched the target. She had to move now to grant Shion adequate space and prepare for any retaliation from her target.
It would be when Shion enters that Unki would warn her of the volatile nature of the ash cloud through a vivid hand motion, pointing, mimicking an explosion, mouthing a silent "boom"! and a wide-eyed look on her face.
