Matsu could feel excitement begin to enter his bloodstream as Rikuto unsheathed his sword. He smiled but held up his hand in a gesture to pause. "Not here." Matsu shook his head slightly and rapidly. He then gestured his head to the street. "There are too many pedestrians around. I wouldn't want any of them in harm's way." He put his hand down and put a thumb back behind him. "How about the forest just outside the village?" Matsu suggested as an interesting training ground.

Matsu smiled and took up his bag filled with scrolls and his armor. He then turned to walk beside Rikuto. Matsu Byakugan had been deactivated for some time now but he had seen where the forest was. He was eager to get there and hopefully be taught something about swordplay. Matsu led the way to the forest.

Skye stumbled over to the river as he fell and landed on his but. He looked at the river and then shook up his sake gourd. Empty he thought as he opened it and put it in the water filling it up. He then put his finger to the water as it began to bubble and fizzle but it remained the same. Skye tasted it and then spit it out. "WHAT THE HELL THAT IS NOT SAKE!!!" He shouted as he put his finger back in the gourd and began to focus his chakra into the water giving it the properties of sake. He took another swig and smiled.

He immediately got to work though a bit intoxicated it was something he was used to. He began performing hand signs, his weaving skills were impeccable it was as if he had been weaving hand signs his entire life. he continued as he began on the first jutsu Raikou bunshin. a discolored clone appeared next to him. But in Skye's eyes it was perfect, but he knew if it looked good to him it must be wrong so he kicked it and it flew into a tree and dispersed, Skye's foot began to sting. "Oww! Oww! Oww! Oww!" he shouted as he jumped around. Skye soon regained his composure as he took another swig from his gourd. he began swiftly weaving hand signs as he attempted the jutsu again this time a perfect clone appeared, but it looked messed up and contorted to Skye. "HIDEOUS!" he shouted randomly as he threw a kunai at the clone causing it to disperse in a cloud of hot air.

Skye got up from his previous training as he wanted to try something with his sword style he began walking towards the dojo as the wind whipped, hitting Skye against the face like an angry woman, and nothing worse than the scorn of a an angry woman. Surprisingly he ignored it he was quite used to being beat, so the wind was just another slap to the face as he pushed on. Plus he was drunk and numb what did he care. he took another swig of his Sake to replenish his chakra, as he moved forward to the dojo. He began thinking of the technique but his mind was clouded he'd have to get the scroll in his bag to remember.

The girl's body would appear as she walked towards the river she loved to sit by. The village was too crowded for her liking, and just the thought of having to speak with everyone put her in a panic. She never was the type to hang around others. She did get along well but it was the speaking part that she had to overcome first. Reaching the river side she stopped, her eyes falling upon the stomped down snow spots that surrounded her. "Have more people discovered this place?" she asked herself as she stared at all the spots. She shivered, not from the cold but from the though of more people standing around here. The cold never bothered Kushina. You could almost say she was amune to it, seeing how she had lived in it most of her life. Sighing, she turned around, coming up to a tree and leaning agaianst it. Her long blond hair fell around her face perfectly, matching with her soft blue outfit. Oh how she longed to be able to speak out to others. Just once she wished she could talk out and be normal, not scared to step up.

Freyr planned on coming here to train some water jutsu, but once he came here he got too distracted with the water and people going by on boats to care about training. He'd done a lot that day anyway, so he could just hang around and take a break for the rest of the day, and no one would care. He surely wouldn't. It was nice to be a genin now, to be able to explore the village without always having someone watch you. The freedom would become even better as a chuunin, when you could leave the village whenever you liked. Freyr always took trips with his mother, when she was still alive, to Takumi and back, and was always very fascinated with the chuunin or jounin that escorted them.

His thought of relaxing pretty much ended and he got up, about to head over to the academy again when he spotted a girl that graduated with him and Gale. He walked over to her and waved. "Hi, do you remember me? We graduated together at the academy not too long ago." He remembered her face but he just couldn't put a finger on the name. She never really spoke up or got called on. But Freyr knew she was a genin, and didn't have a squad, so she was worth a try to get her on the team.

Kushina let out a little cry as Freyr seemed to of sneaked up on the shy girl. He wouldn't believe it, as she moved in a quick pace, her body now half hidden by the tree she stood by. Her light brown hues fell upon the boy, looking him over. She knew him from the academy. Freyr Higurashi. And if memory served her correctly, he had a twin brother that went by the name Gale Higurashi. Of course during her time in the academy, she had never made friends, just remained by herself and observed the things around her. "F-Freyr Hig-Higurashi, and y-your twin brother, whom I-I do not sense around, Ga-Gale Higurashi. I-I'm Kus-Kushina Tamakichi. Pl-Pleased to meet y-you!" she managed to spit out. Her cheeks grew a faint red in color as she spoke out to him, being embarassed and shy. Also when she spoke her eyes wouldn't remain upon his, instead they were constantly darting from side to side. Kushina wasn't really the type of person to get along great with people. It wasn't the fact that she didn't want to, heck she would die just to know how to be normal and make friends, it was because she got nervous and didn't have the right skills to do so. It wasn't something she was taught.

"Oh that's right! You're Kushina, I remember now." In the academy, Freyr had tried his best to be friends with everyone or at least acquaintances but he apparently never got around to this girl. He could remember she was always quiet though. He smiled a bit at her blush and her stutter, as well as the lack of eye contact. "Ha, you're cute. You don't need to be so shy with me, though, it's not like we're meeting for the first time!" He chuckled for a moment or two before scratching the back of his head. He completely didn't understand why or how a person could be shy. But that was just Freyr being Freyr. He's never been shy in his life and pretty much made friends with everyone he met because he was so outgoing.

Enough bragging about herself, now it was time to get down to business. Freyr walked around for a couple of seconds, admiring what little view the river gave before turning back to Kushina. "So, you have a squad yet?" She probably did. Who didn't want a pretty girl on their team? Too bad. She seemed really nice.

Kushina watched as Freyr walked around of course his words weren't helping with her shy personality. Heck calling her cute wasn't the best thing ever. She didn't know what to say in response to this not being the first time they met. Of course she knew that, it was just, wel Kushina being herself. Finally coming out, her full body would be seen. She folded her hands neatly in front of her body, her eyes fixed upon the genin. Then he asked her a question she had never heard before. Freyr wanted to know if she had been placed in a squad yet. Sighing quietly to herself she had the response ready before he even finished. "N-No. I-I'm not on on-one." she muttered in response. People never really gave her a chance, having forgotten her once they all separated. Heck she would be of perfect help on a squad. She was a ninjutsu shinobi as well as a sensor. Therefore she would be perfect when it came to missions. Yet nobody ever glanced in her direction, until now that is.

Freyr did nothing but raise an eyebrow at Kushina's answer. That was good. He was a bit apprehensive about asking random people for a chance to be on a squad ever since Gale with the Aburame girl. But this girl didn't seem to be interested in bugs in the slightest. "That so? In that case, you want to join my and brother's? We already have a teacher, just need another genin to seal the deal." He knew it was kind of weird just asking out of nowhere, but he should be priviledged that he could ask in the first place. In most villages you could not form your own squad and would have to take whatever the kage gave you. Sometimes it was an amazing combination utilizing everyone's unique strengths and weaknesses, and sometimes it was just a jumble of whoever was left. Cause you know there are always those people, who never fit in anywhere. Freyr felt kinda bad for them, and always tried to include them. Although this seemed like the case for his conversation with Kushina, really he just wanted a squad to be able to train and go on missions with. "C'mon, it'll be fuuun~" He smiled widely at Kushina.

Kushina's eyes went wide as she heard Freyr's question. She blinked a couple of times as she looked at him, too stunned to really know what to say. In her mind of course she wanted badly to be in someone's squad but she felt like she was such a let down, being shy and all. Although this might be her chance to gain some skills with socializing, especially with the Higurashi twins. Kushina only nodded at first. Finding her voice she spoke up, "O-Of course I will j-join!" Kushina replied with a sweet smile. Deep down she was cheering and all girly like. She couldn't believe it. Maybe her shinobi career was bound to go some where's after all. She was a wind user as well as a sensor. Perhaps she would be of perfect assistance to the squad.
