Bjorn would listen to the words of the others as Grym would feel better and rise back to his feet, towering over everyone by a couple feet. Bjorn would think for a few moment, “The lower caverns Grym and I went into before are collapsed from the explosion we caused.. but we don’t have much time to have a chance at catching this person….” Turning towards Choumei, who he figured was in the lead of the genin squad, “Choumei, How about you and your group sneak through the middle caves and find a way up and around to head off where that guy’’s going, smash through walls if you need to. Grym and I will charge up the middle and bait them into the likely ambush they’re thinking of. Then you four can come up on them from behind, ambush the ambush, so to speak, give them a battle on two fronts.”
A minute later Bjorn and Grym would then turn and bolt towards the mountain again, using their claws to grip the stone and tear up the side straight for the cavern opening where they'd seen the man standing. Grym caught a scent on the wind and grunted to Bjorn "This way, brother." as the giant bear led them to the mouth of the cavern and in, chasing the scent.

食 Chōumei would sigh and scratch at her neck arching her elbow to the sky while looking up towards the spot where the light disappeared. Hearing out Bjorn, Yasuhiro, and Kirumi's arguments she'd sigh and give a slightly cocky smile at Bjorns idea. Turning to the rest and Taping on her chin she'd look on at Kiru-chan and Yasu with soft loving eyes as she'd answer their concern. "Yasu we've still got more area we can make our approach from and in the shadows of the cave you're jutsu are more menacing. Believe in our strength and I believe in the cunning of this team with Bjorn taking on their front we pincer then with a surprise attack. "
Walking over to Kirumi and placing her hand on her shoulder she'd lead her gaze towards the cliff side with her own and point out towards their point of ingress. Firmly clasping Kiru-chans shoulder Chōumei would let her desire to press ahead known to the smaller kunoichi, not with a sense of intimidation behind it but something of a eager expression of longing to test her limits and complete her mission. "The other group we're sure of might be intertwined with this individual and our tracking would be better aided by an experienced hunter like Bjorn. Taking care of this and then moving on to attack when they've dropped their guard is still an option. We act when it is necessary and always to the things set before us. Sometimes not reacting is the right action, and patience and thought are required, but her I feel like pressing ahead where there's might turn back will bare us more fruit than tucking tail or spending too much time thinking. So, believe in this plan our senpai's given us. Believe in me and that I'll fight to the last to bring us all back home, safe. If you're gonna be the Lord and Lady of this Village some day Kirumi you need to hold fast to vision of victory in the face of danger. So follow me. "
Chōumei would look to Bjorn and Grym and would nod to the two as to signal that she'd rallied her squad to move ahead with the plan as stated. Looking over at Tsubaki and Kyo Chōumei would nod with a grin at them as well and would look for some determination in the eyes likely set on her. Chōumei would start to head for the mouth of the cave Bjorn pointed out and would would start to use the telepathic link to communicate with Yasu. "Yasu-chin~, common lets not fight over this. I think we've got a good shot here and it'll be just fine~. Though at some point we may need to rest and train up some so an ambush on those other dudes can go off with out a hitch. " Entering the cave at likely a time paralleling Bjorns own entrance into the cliffs Chōumei would draw her sword in preparation for any type of fight or residual combatants that could of been in this cavern too. the thought had crossed her mind but again tit failed to strike fear into Chōumei rather than excitement.

Kirumi gave the Nihongo leader a very determined and angst filled look as she adressed Yasu's concern quickly, then moved onto hers. Feeling the sensation of having her older sister...She meant team leader, place her hand on her shoulder was enough to make the young genin curl up into a ball and never face anyone again. Even when under frustration at whatever situation, Kirumi still could not come to terms with being so stern and mean to her teammates. The Akimchi brought up some good points for tagging along with Bjorn, his tracking skills could prove pretty useful in the long run. All she was able to offer in response was a pout that slowly faded into little insecure Kirumi. "Ah-I'm sorry, Choumei! Please forgive me! I didn't mean to be rude!" She said, giving the chocolate skinned woman a brief hug before they entered the caves. As per usual, she hung around the back end, ready to heal wounds if any were to come up, which it looked to be fairly soon. Hopefully everyone could separate her from the immediate dangers of these cliffs.
On the one hand, Bjyorns plan was, while simple, sound. However following that plan required something that he just didnt have anymore. Trust in others. Yet despite that fact he could not deny that the girls had shown nothing but trust and loyalty in him. How could he deny the return of it? Out of nowhere Yasu began pacing back and fourth quickly absently muttering to himself. He wasnt afraid of being hurt or even dying. What he was, in fact, afraid of was the girls getting hurt or dying and that, terrified him beyond reason.
Coming to a stop with his back to the girls he once again pulled his necklace free and softly began speaking,"Though all before me is shadow, Yet shall he be my guide. I shall not be left to wander the drifting roads of the Beyond. For there in darkness there is my lord Tsukuyomi. And nothing that He has wrought shall be lost." Finishing his prayer he turned on heel and nodded that he was ready. Through the mental link he spoke softly," I gave you my word. I am a Nara, we dont punk out when the time comes to step up. I dont like it but if were doing this were gonna need to do it as a team. I got your back like always." Drawing his own sword he followed in after her quickly keeping pace.
The group moving through the cave would oddly enough encounter...nothing. A long twisting path what was obviously well traveled would lead them to a steel door with a closed sliding window about the size of a welders lens. To the touch, the door was extremely hot. There was no mistaking it. Whatever was inside was burning and the trail was now...cold.
The explosions had alerted the flamespyre group ahead of time, and they torched the inside of their bunker, leaving through escape passages that ended in dead ends with single use seals. This particular group, was just missed.
Running into the the huge steel door, Bjorn and Grym looked around suspiciously. Tapping the door, he felt the heat coming through from behind it and growled lowly before letting out a loud roar in frustration. As the others would arrive from their roundabout path, he’d turn to them “Looks like they caught wind of us.. probably from my explosion earlier… The room on the other side of this door is burning, they’re gone. We should probably get back to the village.. I’ll head on up ahead, see you all there.” With that, Bjorn and Grym would turn and work their way back out of the caverns to the forest outside.
Once outside, Bjorn walked over to the large black steel dome he’d made to protect his kills and peeled it open, piling the larger two creatures, the mountain stalker and the alpha wolf, onto Grym’s back, and shouldering the other five wolf corpses himself. The ursine brothers would then turn back down the path that led them there and start their trek back to Konoha.

食 Noticing the empty state of the cave Chōumei would sigh as she'd sling her nodachi over er should and step close to the meta wall with her hand extend close to it. It was scalding obviously and the heat rated from it enough to make her hand start to sweat even with out touching it. "Well this is just a total bummer. They got away!" Visibly pouting and feeling a bit deflated from all her "chest beating" outside Chōumei would look to her friends and would realize that despite to being able to fulfill her words to Birdtha and knock the flashy-light arrow guy who smashed her egg she still had her teams safety to be thankful for. For their first time out they were quick decisive and skilled in figuring out numerous answers to the problems set before them, and she most of all had their trust. this thought made Chōumei smile inwardly and she'd stretch letting out a labored sigh to let go of the stress and thoughts that came to her mind that might be the consequences of failing this mission. They chased them and there was no box, but then again their abilties in tracking were limited to say the least when it came to experience in practical means and no advanced knowledge in sensor or enhanced sensory abilties.
Bjorns roar suddenly seemed to rumble the very stone they stood on, but Chōumei would close her eyes and simply listen to his words after and would reply simply, "Got'cha biggun we'll be right behind ya...Okay, Nihongo we've failed our first Mission, but for a first Mission we've pushed our tracking skills as Ninja and fought and talked to a giant beast. There's still the possibility that we might be able to go on a mission later that gives us a second chance so for now...lets just be thankful we're all still alive and together. Let's go home and report into the kage." Walking over to her squad with her sward sheathed and her arms out stretched Chōumei would hug her squad members and tightly squeeze them to show her affection. "Chōumei~ Huggles~!"
With that the Nihongo squad leader would dissolve the progress of this mission given that their senior shinobi clearly laid out that their was no way to continue the Mission. Letting them go and stretching her arms above her in a attempt to relax Chōumei would follow behind Bjorn's path home.

All that leadup eventually led to the cave being empty, Kirumi sighed in relief. While everyone may have been anticipating a battle, she was a bit lacking in her confidence that they would be able to win unless they were just more wolves and not an entire army at the so called "masked man's" arsenal. Choumei displayed her disappointment at them getting away while the young Yamanaka could only thank whatever God or Goddess that might have been smiling on her. She was brought out of her state of inward thinking by the furious roar of Bjorn, making her jump closer to Yasu-chan while giving a frightful look. Thankfully, the leader was able to coax her friends out of their gloomy and disappointed views as they soon participated in a group hug. Thankful for her guidance, Kirumi hugged the girl with as much admiration and elation as she had for her entire squad. They then found their way back to Konoha, hopefully towards better missions and future endeavors.
Well then.. that was anticlimactic as hell... Here he was expecting an actual challenge that would put him and the squad as a whole to the test. Now all he felt was robbed. When Bjorn roared and kirumi jumped his arm absently came to rest on her shoulder. Though when he and the others were pulled into a giant group hug he simply sighed and went along with it. Choumei was Choumei after all. Though the prospect of going home was one he was looking forward too. So he eagerly followed the others back towards the village.

Welp, it was time to do some work on the way to Takumi. Sumika couldn't say she was excited but it would at least give her something to do while waiting for Kanzaki to get his head out of his a**. And so here she was to do some scouting.[ 1 / 4 ] Sumika floated her way down into one of the caves on a bed of sand. It looked like it'd probably been mined before, but luckily she didn't require anything to navigate it. Man, this whole process must have been a real drag if you needed actual spelunking equipment to get down a hole.[ 2 / 4 ] Not that, of course, it wasn't a drag without them. In essence Sumika was simply tasked with staring at a damn wall. It was, honestly, beyond boring and anyone who knew what was what with the little hellion was sure to know why she wasn't a fan.[ 3 / 4 ] Having found a vein to mine in, Sumika set up for the long haul. She was going to be pulling metal out of this for a while, so she might as well be comfortable. Mining, how fun, such a useful waste of her time and so efficient. Why anyone would do this when they could get something more functional was actually beyond the girl. That said, it would, at least in some way, fulfill her advancement as a person. For whatever the hell that was worth.[ 1 / 5 ] At least it wouldn't be taking up time she could have spent doing something else. That would've been terrible, honestly. It wasn't like posting and rolling for stuff was entirely contradictory as rolling and posting would have presented the same types of limitations without pointless work.[ 2 / 5 ] No, surely no one would design a system like that. A system that seemed on its face designed to waste people's time en mass by asking them to write posts to then roll and probably not get something useful or important to them.[ 3 / 5 ] Nothing about the process was at all mind numbing. In fact, the teenager found it perfectly engaging at not at all disheartening. It would, after all, allow her to craft unique items.[ 4 / 5 ] What those items were, how much material they would take, or what they could ultimately do was beyond her. More mining, very exciting, much wow. Sumika couldn't help but rolling her eyes as she continued to smack away. Though, however, it was likely to be good for her upper arms. Maybe she could impress San, it was better than just reducing it all to sand anyways. That'd be messy and a waste of time.[ 1 / 5 ] More mining, mining mining mining. Man mining was fun, and totally not a waste of everyone's time. Oh well, she was here, so she might as well stay here and keep hitting this wall.[ 2 / 5 ] Pick to wall, over and over and over. It was rather monotonous, but she could normally get behind monotonous if push came to shove. This though, this was that brand of monotonous, that like, no one had clearly actually tested before implementing, or they'd have clawed their own eyes out and not inflicted that on other people.[ 3 / 5 ] I mean, really, how much could you really write about mining? At the end of the day there was nothing to really justify this whole thing, no reason for it to exist. It was just busywork that resulted in a bad time for everyone and Sumika was feeling the brunt of that right now.[ 4 / 5 ] Her back slumped as she continued to swing the pickax, striking the stone. How was this even suppose to work? Once again, here she was mining, what a joy it was. Nothing could match the thrill of the kill, the feel of the fight. Rising up to the challenge of your rivals, which, in this case was a wall of pure stone that she would be battling for the foreseeable future.[ 1 / 5 ] Sumika was lost in the process, and she couldn't help it. There was just so much mining to do, and so much time to do it in. It was like, never ending compared to the actual task being asked of her.[ 2 / 5 ] It was almost like this whole process could be made a little better with just a bit of extra work. Like it could be more efficient and less excruciating. Of course, Sumika was lazy, though, so she wouldn't be fixing that.[ 3 / 5 ] There wasn't really anything she could do anyways. The techniques were dictated by the higher ups and the genin had no influence on them. No, she was stuck here, following her orders as written.[ 4 / 5 ] It would have been fascinating, she thought as she pocketed another mound of ore. It would have been fascinating if any of it were worth a damn to begin with. But, so far as she could tell, it really wasn't, and that wasn't going to be changing anytime soon.[ 5 / 5 ]

You know when you get stuck doing something that just doesn't seem worth the effort you're putting into it? Yeah, that was Sumika at the moment. It was all just becoming a flow of consciousness, almost like there were words just flowing through her head but none of them actually meant anything at the end of the day. Quite the strange sensation.[ 1 / 5 ] One last bit of mining, for now at least. No doubt she'd be back at it in the near future, but hey... that couldn't be helped. She was part of the system, and so she had to work within it even if it didn't make any sense.[ 2 / 5 ] Thunk, thunk, thunk. The pickax was starting to feel dull in her hands, like it wasn't even connected anymore. Her arms ached, mostly from the pounding but also from the monotony of the task.[ 3 / 5 ] It was honestly getting hard to focus on the task at hand. There was nothing exciting about mining to begin with, but it was even more mind-numbing in such a massive quantity. How did anyone do this for a living?[ 4 / 5 ] Thankfully, Sumika need not stick around much longer. The last piece of ore popped free from the vein and she set about gathering her things.
