Walking into his front room, Daniel began tossing off his outer layers. The jacket, the mask, and his belt all wound up on the couch. But as he pulled off his hat, he caught a look at his refelction in his front window as he tossed the hat on a end table. He looked much like he always did, except for his hair anyway. His hair had changed drastically from just a few hours earlier. Running fingers through it, confirming that it was real, and fully attached to his head. He could only assume that it had happened during Amy's transfiguration of his outfit. But he couldn't remember anything about it affecting people as well.

"Well, crap."

{{lol!! That'd be funny if it was b/c of Amy's transfiguration, but it couldn't be. She can only transfigure cloth, not wigs. That's why she has wigs and brought a bag of them to AS. wink And up to you if you want to go to the wedding. If you do, just post as Daniel and Jessi showing up. If you do, I'll sign into my other account and RP with her, too. lol. But up to you.}}  

[Chef_Karrie]

*looks over at Amy and smiles softly. He leans down to kiss her* You look nice, Amy. *calls into the kitchen to let Velcore and Thistle know they're leaving, then he escorts Amy out to his car and they head to Upper GGG*

Amy sighed loudly as soon as she and Karrie stepped inside their home. She quickly went into the kitchen, grabbed two wine glasses out of the cupboard, and then chose a wine. She began filling them up. After she was done, she took both of them over to Karrie and gave him one. A half smirk/half smile was on her face.

"Here you go, Karrie. I can officially say I am no longer mad at you for making me go or for that mother comment earlier since you brought us home early. Cheers!"

She tilted her own glass toward Karrie.

Thistle came running in, squeaking happily.

I know you didn't really want to go tonight. Thank you for going to the ceremony with me at least. *takes a sip, wondering why the comment about her mother upset her so much* confused Hey there, Thistle. *smiles down at the pony* Didn't give Velcore any problems tonight, did you? wink  

[Cuwen]

Amy laughed and then hopped up on one of the counters. "You're welcome. I guess we're even now. If you and I ever get married, though, we're doing it through a courthouse... or a really small ceremony outside. I'm talking like 3 people."

She giggled and shook her head at the thought. "What a wedding is really supposed to be about, just the two people getting married, making their commitments to each other. Nothing like what my mom had or what happened earlier, as you know my feelings on that. It should be a small, private affair, I believe."

Thistle squeaked happily at Karrie when he smiled down at her and acknowledged her. She rubbed against his leg and then squeaked out for Velcore when she heard Karrie say his name.

*sound asleep in his room*

Three people? Amy... you do realize how big my family is, right? *shakes his head* Why do women always think about getting married after going to a wedding? rolleyes

*takes a sip of his wine* I think that Psyzapp's wedding was beautiful. It was perfectly in tune with her personality, and I know that Dougherty wants to do whatever he can to make her happy.  

[Cuwen]

Thistle tilted her head to the side in confusion when Velcore didn't appear, but she stayed next to Karrie's leg instead of going to bother Velcore.

Amy remembered the size of his family and concedes. "Okay, true... I had forgotten that for a moment. But still! We only need to have them and Kits and Jessi."

When Karrie said that part about thinking about getting married after going to a wedding, her eyes widened and she didn't look all that happy.

"Uh, what? This about marriage? I'm trying to head off the possible fight we might have if you start thinking about having a big wedding, too! Out of anyone, you should understand why I wouldn't want to think about getting married after my parents' disaster. It's not something I dream about. You're the only man I've even considered possibly getting married to if you ever asked. And that's still only a consideration because I know what marriage can do to a couple!"

She then rolled her eyes about Psyzapp's personality. "Big and loud? And you really think that's appropriate for a wedding? Karrie, like I told you, my mother did the same thing, and you know what happened! My mom just looked at it as an opportunity to show off and to get people to do what she wanted, thinking it was her right as a bride. It wasn't about getting married to my father. It was a publicity stunt! This wedding very much reminds me of that, and it pushes all of my buttons! It took everything I had to go tonight..."

She looked down at her wine glass and silently cursed herself when she felt tears p***k her eyes.  

[Chef_Karrie]

*sets his glass on the counter* First of all, this isn't the time to be thinking about a wedding. When the time comes, we'll discuss that.

Second, yes, Psyzapp has a very big personality. She also likes to have things top quality and things will be the way she wants them. I've been hearing rumors around the JD that Psyzapp considered eloping with Dougherty because she was worried about the wedding not going right. This wedding was about THEIR desire to spend the rest of their lives together, not the publicity. I know that you didn't have the greatest relationship with your parents, and I try not to say too much about them because of that. But don't compare their failed marriage to Psyzapp and Dougherty's. Apparently, your mother didn't take their marriage seriously, but Psyzapp is.

*looks at his glass, still mostly full, then turns away* I'm going to bed. *walks down the hall to the bedroom, taking his jacket off as he goes and tossing it on the floor when he gets inside*

Amy frowned in the direction Karrie left. Then, she looked down at Thistle, who was staring off after Karrie in confusion.

"You know, I really wish you could talk and understand, Thistle. I think you'd be the best listener around here sometimes."

She hopped off of the counter, rinsed out her glass, set it in the sink, and then walked into the living room. She called down the hallway, "Thanks for trying to understand where I'm coming from, Karrie..."

Amy sighed and went over to the couch. She sat down on it and Thistle came over immediately. She hopped onto the couch beside Amy and snuggled down at her side.

Amy looked over at the corner table by the couch and picked up her phone. She had made sure to leave it at home and not to take it to the wedding with her so that there was no way she'd forget to turn it off and it might go off during the ceremony.

She flipped it open and sent a text to Kits, knowing she'd probably only get it tomorrow.

Amy's text to Kits

Hey Kits. Do you think you and I could sit down and talk for awhile? I'm thinking at AS. Friday is fine for me, but I don't know what your schedule's like. Just text me back if you're okay with this and what day and time work best for you. I hope you had a lot of fun and hopefully see you soon. smile

Then, she shut her phone off and laid down on the couch, still in her dress.  

[Kits Rose]

*Kits and Rod had spent the morning at his place, returning to Kits' house to feed her pets and so that she could change her clothes. They spent much of the afternoon together, mostly playing with the animals, until Rod left to go start developing the pictures of Psyzapp's wedding. Kits finally checked her phone after he left, having left it at home the night before and she'd been too distracted after getting home. Finding a text from Amy, she sent a response*

Sorry, just checked my phone. How about you come over tonight instead? I just started dinner and I'd love some company.

Amy had been busy outside most of the day getting the ground ready for a garden this spring around the house. Also, it had been a good opportunity to avoid Karrie for the time being. She was still so angry and hurt at what he had said last night, which was something new for her to stay this angry and this hurt at him for this length of time.

Amy heard her phone go off and reached into her pocket to get it. Yeah, she got dirt on her jeans and phone, but it wasn't that big of deal.

She read Kits' text and then quickly typed back a response.

Amy's text to Kits

I'd love to come over. Thank you for inviting me. I have to go in and shower and then I'll be there. Is it okay if I bring Thistle along, and possibly Velcore if he wants to come, too?

Amy stood up, took off her gardening gloves that she had been using to pick up sticks and dead grass around the garden area, and went inside the house. She went to go take a shower, leaving her cell phone on the coffee table in the living room. She'd read Kits' response when she got out.  

[Kits Rose]

*in the kitchen, stirs the homemade spaghetti sauce she'd been working on. She had water heating up to cook the pasta, but was still waiting for it to boil. Hearing her phone, she set the spoon down and picked the phone up*

Of course that's okay. I have plenty for everyone. I usually cook to have lots of leftovers and my pets will be happy to see them.

*puts the phone down and picks up a clean spoon to test the sauce. After a moment, decides it needs more seasoning*

Amy got out of the shower about 20 minutes later and dried off. She then transfigured clothes and went into the living room. She checked her phone and then typed back a quick response after brushing off the dirt.
