TNW:R Presents: Slammiversary (6/3/15)

[Chicago Makes Punk]

It started with a mini-tournament and it all ended up with The Rock,
Finn Balor, and Roman Reigns. Roman Reigns eventually got his
title shot by winning the mini-tournament and becoming the #1
contender's match. Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns constantly had
confronted each other and it all leads to tonight's main event, as
Seth Rollins defends his TNW:R Championship once again against
Roman Reigns, as this is his second time getting the TNW:R shot.

• Roman Reigns' music starts to play, the camera's view shifts to the main stage as the crowd erupts loudly beginning to show their approval or disapproval for his eventual presence. Behind the scenes standing in the Gorilla position with his head down low Roman Reigns soaks it all in calmly. He was being told his cue was up by TNWR personnel shortly after his music went on for sometime. Roman starts up the few steps in his way before moving the black curtain out of his way with aggression. Eventually he'd come out center stage to a strong reaction, whether it was good or bad.
  
  He paces around looking over the crowd who decided to either boo him or cheer him. Walking to a quarter inch of each side of the stage before pacing right back into the center nodding his head at the attendees. Reigns then focuses dead ahead at the 20x20 ring from where he now stood followed by the mass of fans surrounding it that were waiting for him to wage war inside of it. With one hand, Roman sweeps his slick hair back and then begins his descent down the ramp, passing through the fans and making a beeline straight to the end of it's pathway.
  
  Once there, Roman's stride slows down as he approaches the steel steps, places a hand upon the turnbuckle padding, and pulls himself up the steps. Roman looks off at the side, once again taking a long glance at the space around him filled with people, some who support him, some who despise him, but all who want to see him draw blood. With a twitch of his nose, Roman turns back to the ring and now on the apron. Stepping over to the nearest corner, Roman climbs into the second rope and raises his arms above him, posing for the fans for a few brief moments. From here, he wastes little time dropping back to the apron and entering the ring proper, awaiting his opponent.

Seth Rollins was backstage alone talking to nobody but himself in his mind. He was putting on his gloves that were attached to his tights, and tightening them to face his opponent. He had the title in front of him as it was shining in front of his face, and Rollins couldn't be more ready. Rollins was watching the nearby monitor which was showing the show. Rollins didn't want to look, but he had to. He had to look at the intensity within his opponent's, and see if he is actually ready for Rollins. Rollins trained more than ever from the time being, and he wasn't even touched most of the time during the shows. Rollins had tried to avoid a lot of situations where he could've injured himself. Rollins was eventually seeing his opponent coming into the ring, as someone backstage had came up to Rollins and was about to ask him to go up. Rollins already knew, telling the guy to go away, because he had to be focused coming out. He grabbed the championship and then lifted it up with both his hands, just looking at it. He kissed the title, because it could eventually be his last time with the championship for a while. He then wrapped the championship title around his waist and then buckled it up, getting ready to go out there. Rollins grabbed water bottles and then started to open them, and then pour it all over himself before going out there. He walked towards the door to the entrance tunnel with his opponent's theme still playing and blasting. Rollins was walking down the tunnel then eventually reaching the end of it. He closed his eyes, with the silence in the arena had been in motion while his opponent was still in the ring. Suddenly..the PA System eventually played Rollins' entrance video and his entrance music. Rollins opened back up his eyes and then was ready. He stayed there for the moment as wild drums and guitars were playing throughout the whole arena, as there was then a silence. It continued, with Rollins then walking through the curtain with his title around his waist still. He looked to the crowd while it was a huge mixed reaction towards Rollins. Some people were watching from home, and some people were voting for Rollins as well. Seth saw the many people in the crowd within the bleachers, wearing t-shirts, holding up signs, everything. He started to walk down the ramp with a confident look on his face with the championship shining towards everybody in the arena. The announcer was in the ring with his opponent, as both of them were watching Rollins coming down the ring. Rollins was staring down at his opponent every step of the way. People in the side were trying to reach out for him, but Rollins of course didn't pay ANY attention to them at all. He continued on walking down the ramp, as eventually Seth reached the end of it. Rollins stopped and then took a moment before getting close to the ring at all. He stared down at his opponent who was in the ring and made a left turn, still staring down at him. Rollins with step after step walked up on the steel stairs eventually grabbed the top rope and sliding his hand against it. Rollins walked to the middle of the apron, and again was STILL looking at his opponent, as both men were both confident. Seth finally put his attention away from his opponent and then walked over to the top rope and then climbed it, then unbuckling the championship and then lifting it up in the air then looking at his opponent one more time. He rested his arms and then jumped into the ring, then placing the title over his shoulder. He walked towards Roman Reigns and started to lift his title as the ref would try to separate the two men. Rollins backed up in the corner as he looked across the ring from Roman Reigns.

Roman watched as the 'champ' made his way to the ring. The official made sure Reigns was backed into a corner so no altercations could begin during the official weigh in that was about to take place. Checking both men's stances in the ring as well as any foreign objects of any sorts on their person, the announcer of TNWR then stepped forward. Talking loudly to the sea of people who crowded in the arena. "This following contest is scheduled for one fall and it is for the TNWR Championship! Introducing first, the challenger from Pensacola, Florida weighing in at 265 lbs, ROMAN REEEEIIGGGNNNNNNSSS!" the reaction was a funny one, the crowd wasn't totally on his side but he had his supporters. Reigns stepped forward with a sly smirk on his face shaking his head.

 

[Messiah Seth Rollins]

Seth Rollins looked across the ring from Roman Reigns and looked ready. He was hopping around with not a cocky face this time, but the most serious face Seth Rollins has made in a long time. He knew what was on the line, and knew this was his time to shine once again. The announcer then started to introduce Rollins as well. "And his opponent..from Davenport, Iowa. Weighing in at 217 pounds, he is the reigning and defending TNW:R Champion...Seth...Rollllliiiins!!"

Ding, Ding, Ding, Reigns hears the bell knowing what time it is. The big fight was on from here, he eyed his opponent, watching him closely, knowing Seth almost better than anyone in this ring. This wasn't going to be a wrestling match. This was going to be war. Roman circles the ring inching closer and closer to Rollins.

Seth Rollins started to circle the ring as well, as he looked at Roman and slowly measured every single movement.

When close enough Roman Reigns would attempt to lock-up with Seth Rollins for a collar and elbow tie up.

Seth Rollins would lock up with Roman Reigns, but Seth obviously knew Roman was the stronger man. He started to quickly to push Roman Reigns within the lock and try to force him in a corner somehow, but at the same time he struggled immensely.

The lock-up at first was a struggle, two alphas trying to outdo one another. Roman stood his ground against Seth but started to feel himself be forced into a corner.
Feeling his protective fest against the turnbuckle padding he'd watch closely the referee coming to break the two apart. But Roman wasn't listening to no refs tonight. He tried to use his strength to switch himself out of the corner and place Seth Rollins inside instead.

Seth Rollins thinking he was successful that he got Roman Reigns in the corner, he was suddenly interrupted and was placed in the corner.

Hearing the referee begin to count because Roman wouldn't back-up, the Juggernaut would do so allowing the champ a one time breather in this match up.

Seth Rollins saw Roman Reigns back up a bit, but Rollins was hit hands up in the air, he saw the advantage to go for a quick disrespecful slap to Roman's face!

Roman felt the slap as the burning sensation resonated with his face. His facial expression quickly went from apathetic to angry real quick as he motioned to go into that corner and kick Seth's little a**. But the referee instead pushed him back because Seth still wasn't out of the corner.
