Amonee listened to Austri's words and felt better. They were back to normal again with the greenblooded girl fluffing her own ego while tossing a small compliment their direction. He nodded and stretched his arms a bit before he was ready to get moving again. Taking Nucleo's arm, he hopes the barista was doing alright. Nucleo had never really liked being around Austri again after the incident with his clones.

"Thanks." Nucleo blinked, surprised by Austri's words. He hadn't expected her to praise anyone, especially not them. A small part of him wondered if something was up. Was this a prank? Or the calm before the storm? He didn't like how much he was over analyzing it though and decided to try and just accept it. He'd be much happier if he got out of his own head more often.

"You did great." The barista nodded to her with a smile. Her bragging wasn't ideal but she'd earned it for that fight!

They all looked so touched. The greenblood rolled her eyes, clicking her tongue. It wasn't often that she was nice to any of them, and for good reason. Austri crossed her arms uncomfortably, face looking a bit flushed— If it was from embarrassment or sickness was anybody's guess. "Oh please~ Let's just, move, haha~ We don't need to draw this out further~" She murmured, twirling around and shooting away.

Amonee finds loot. Tame Mutant Undead Space Gerbil.

The room was covered in streamers and posters with smiling juggalos on them. They had faded and decayed over the sweeps it seemed. However, there was still a giant crate with a mysterious label on them that simply read: 'BRODENTS'. What could that even possibly be? Amonee popped the lid off with a little force and peered inside.

"Oh, some gerbils. These ones seem less bloodthirsty." He sort of shuffled to hide them from Lorata's view, knowing how little she cared for the creatures.

"Oh wow! They look, uh, interesting!" Nucleo examined the strange looking gerbils before tucking them away. They'd bring them home and deal with them later. He too didn't want to trigger Lorata's gerbil panic attacks. The greenblood ushered them into the next hallway to quickly move on and find something else to distract her with. This one looked promising with several offshoots ahead for them to explore!

5 - You keep walking down the corridor. Nothing here.

Austri shot past the others to scout ahead, only to see it was a scarily empty corridor. It was decorated with items that looked distinctly dark carnival-esque, and while a small part of her found it cool, most of her got nervous tingles. "U-uh~ I think it's. Empty~?" A small part of her grew worried— She could definitely see a couple eyes in the distance. She walked closer and saw it was just a painting. "I~ Think we're okay~!" When she turned back, the eyes were looking at her. Shudder.

It looked like they were getting deeper into the crew's quarters. There were more poster boards filled with papers. Some had silly pictures drawn on them, some had creepy jokes. One of them stood out to the jadeblood.

"Why don't daywalkers eat juggalos?" He picked up the paper and held it, an expression of disbelief. It was sort of incredible how they could make light of something as serious and terrifying as the zombies that haunted this very ship. And they hadn't even known it at the time! The crew thought they would return to Alternia alive!

"This seems useful." The barista decided, picking up a gun while they searched the room. He didn't know how good of a shot he was but it was better than having no gun. This one seemed easy to operate, as it didn't require much to fire. The only drawback was that it only had one charge! He frowned, not paying much attention to Amonee's joke. Oops!

After finding another open room, the greenblood moved forward through the halls, finding no door but advancing anyways. A small part of her wondered if Amonee had told Lorata what she'd done to them beforehand. Austri fell into her thoughts for a second, seeming distracted— She did not want Lorata to know. She thought so highly of them, already— What made her think so well of them?! She was obviously better than them...?

Lorata's response was adorable, charming even! But not close to what was written on the paper. Amonee swallowed as the sound of footsteps echoed down the hallway.

"B-because they taste funny!" Three shadows loomed over the group and shuffled towards them as Amonee tearfully delivered the punchline. He didn't like the thought of getting eaten alive by daywalkers, even as a joke!

"Oh man!" Nucleo laughed. He had to admit that one was pretty funny! Amonee's sheepish smile was adorable too. The greenblood chuckled as they looked around, peeking into the next hallway. Lorata's laugh was pretty cute as well. She was a nice enough seeming troll when she wasn't being strange with her friends. Nucleo had to keep reminding himself that she was a seadweller, she was so normal seeming most of the time! In a good way! He didn't want to seem caste-ish, because he really didn't care about that kind of thing, but did feel the need to remind himself so he didn't say or do anything that didn't seem 'respectful' enough.
