Nictor winced unconsciously as he watch Deimos brutalize the zombies and felt. Largely nothing. The churning in his stomach was a near constant, hardly noteworthy should it increase or decrease at any given second. It was just that he was seeing it and reacting but he couldn’t do anything with it right now.

Could have been him with that mace to the face. Why wasn't he? What drove the tealblood to do that now? It was odd but Nictor didn’t question it right now, just accepted that it would be in his best interest to have tome space between him and Deimos. Just as Nictor was trying to maintain space between him and Alibii he did not want to walk into more zombies, did not want any part of that, could not have a part in that right now.

At least his breathing wasn’t rattling as loud anymore, even if it did hitch with every new pack he caught sight of. Speaking of.

More of them- honestly, he'd been right about telling Hifumi that this path was not the one to follow but she'd insisted they go down it anyway. He hoped this taught her in the future that listening to one's scouts was probably a good idea. "Sure woulda been nice to go down a different path..." He commented dryly before moving forward to attack the first daywalker. He downed it, then moved on to the second and took it down just as fast. He would have continued, but dizziness suddenly flared - making the hall spin. He stepped off to one side, leaning against the wall as he cradled his head with one hand. s**t.

Spurred on by the pleasant confirmation that she was indeed on a ship with Bellen, Zeylla felt like there was a pep in her step(also, seeing the yellowblood in action made her bloodpusher race) as she took lead an brought them down another hall.

Of course, she couldn't shirk her original duties though, even if she couldn't stop glancing Bellen's way and giving her little looks in some kind of secret language only the yellowblood would understand. She was going to make Nictor into a real troll, she was determined. She went to call him forward when there was a rather loud bang from behind them. Her head snapped back to check just as something(or some troll) ran past her in the opposite direction of the sound.

They’d been walking long enough, Nictor given just enough time to breath and push down panic like he was basically having to learn to on these ships. He was stumbling a bit more and looked more lost than ever, but seemed to lose that edge of raw terror as it simmered back down to normal terror.

He startled at something moving behind him, though the metal clatter indicated it was something someone had knocked loose in passing and had just fallen. Still, that didn’t stop him from skittering forward like a startled beast, not checking to see, just trying to get distance first and the motion ended with him at the front of the group looking down into the shaded corridor ahead and feeling his nerves trying to fire up again but sorry bud, they’re a little burnt out right now, call back later. The receding brain fuzz adamantly halted its progress but apparently he’d regain enough to actually speak somehow.

“N-n-n-----ine,” Nictor choked out helplessly, already beginning to back up. He felt absolutely awful and the thought of being too close made him feel like he might explode right now, but the current distance, he had some of his brain back at least. Some.

Nine? NINE of them? Deimos wanted to double check this. Maybe Nictor had just gotten freaked out and counted too many. He moved ahead to join the nervous yellowblood and squinted at the approaching group. "...Yep... That sure is nine of 'em." He sighed loudly, resigned at this point to having to fight their way through a sea of daywalkers.

Hifumi totally flubbed her attack- and he wasn't really judging for that based on his own performance, but he was Tired and Done with this stupid daywalker nonsense. He moved in, but- totally blanked out. When he'd come back to himself, he'd somehow managed to take out seven daywalkers all on his own, leaving only two behind. Did... did he do that? He stared after the shambling creatures, eyes wide and confused.

Zeylla was not attempting, in any way, to show off for Bellen. She quickly downed the zombies left after Deimos' brutal attack only because she wanted to. She did not punch their heads in with a flourish in an attempt to show a certain adult that she was strong and skilled and many other things.

She definitely did not look back at the yellowblood with a small smile as she shook the blood off her hands.

"Let's keep going, yes?" she commented casually.

Nictor nearly jolted, half folding into himself and staring at Deimos, anxious and tensions high, trying to shy away without being too obvious but honestly it was hard not to notice how he was eyeing Demos like a looming reaper what was waffling for some absurd reason and had started talking about parsnips when you’re just waiting there for them to kill you but now they’re talking about root vegetable and you’re really not sure what to do?

The bubbling hesitation loosened as Deimos moved away but then ah. He and Alibii brutally tore the ship crew apart.

Another slaughter to remember later.

It certainly didn’t do anything to give him warm fuzzies at either of those two though.

Nictor wanted off this ship so bad. And he felt that way about all of them yes, but. He was exhausted.

Right, okay. No use in dwelling on what just happened. Or didn't happen. He couldn't remember. Nictor was sent on ahead to look around, so he might as well go investigate with him. The yellowblood seemed like he'd probably just fall apart again if anything big popped out at them. He trotted down the hall, looking around for anything important or eye catching... then drew to a stop at the opening of a storage room. "This looks promising..." He shuffled inside, but didn't feel like rooting through things himself. He wanted to concentrate on just... not losing his head again.

Vremea was thankful they had stronger trolls on her team and that they were finally picking up steam. She trotted behind the others and adjusted her glasses with a small, nervous "aha..." before seeing Deimos had found an open, empty room! To the side, she found a bandage— which seemed very useful, even ignoring her powers and any extra healing items she had on her person. "G-guys...! I found a bandage... If a-anyone needs healing, I will, haha, d-definitely help...!"

After finding the semi-useful bandage, Zeylla offered-- well, she didn't offer, she decided to take the lead. She wanted to get them off this ship, not because she wanted to, but because everyone else seemed done with it.Zeylla had been having a grand time, like on all the ships before, delving into the aggression she usually kept carefully bottled up. Even her fights with trolls before paled in comparison to the violence she wrought up on these ships.

Honestly she would have gone through the door herself, ignoring both Nictor and Deimos' wants and wishes, but the look on Bellen's face was enough to loosen the grip her need for violence had on her thinkpan and she kept her decisions to herself. She would let their leader decide.
